O'Reilly Auto Parts reviews
15A dead battery is always a troublesome and a downer for the day. O’Reilly a auto parts is quite near my house, so I went there hoping got the best. They had the battery I needed at a price that was affordable, so we were in business. But I mainly want to mention an employee named Taylor. He’s quite young, but so polite, efficient, and knowledgeable. He made my day so much better than it started out. I recommend this business highly.
I stopped in today to get new windshield wiper blades, and a jug of washer fluid. The kindest gentleman, Calvin assisted me. He installed them for me and insisted I sit in car since it was cold this morning. He even filled my washer fluid and straightened the hood holder thing that someone had bent at some point. He was an absolute gentleman and this lady appreciated his kindness which is so rare in this day and time. Hope his employer recognizes him. Thank you, Calvin for restoring this old ladies belief that gentlemen still exist!
I have a huge shout out to Harlan from the Franklin Ave location in Waco, TX. After a very frustrating and hostile experience, at the 18th Street location, he had us in, out and fixed up very quickly.
I purchased a car battery just over a year ago for $300+ and it was determined, today, that the battery had gone bad. When the female employee at the 18th street location looked into our account, she said that it showed that the core was accounted for but that it didn't show a battery was ever purchased and said there was nothing she could do for me. Knowing the information was incorrect, I asked her to look further. When she refused, I asked for the store manager and at that time, the employee began to yell, cuss me out and was screaming obscenities as she walked to the back. She finally became quiet when I said that I would be making a police report- which I have followed thru with.
I left the store and immediately called the Franklin Ave location and spoke with Harlan. He was kind, knowledgeable and understanding to the situation. He was able to, professionally, locate the original purchase of the battery that had gone bad and was able to issue a replacement battery with the warranty. Within moments I went from swearing I'd never step foot back in that store to feeling relieved that there was a different caliber of employee just down the road that was knowledgeable enough to dig a little deeper to find the needed information to get my car up and running again.
Thank you, Harlan, for the dedication and customer appreciation you showed this evening.
Summer Texas really did a number in our car. Thanks to our local O'Reilly's, and Cody, we get everything we needed sand service was beyound friendly. Price was a little bit high but it was worth every penny due to the Amazing People at this location.
Emmanuel helped me today! He was very kind, extremely helpful, and changed my car battery (among other things!) quickly and efficiently! 10/10 Go to O’Reilly on Franklin!
Oops bad news it was my birthday and Lus left and we had to leave because we didn't have Lus no m no no good
Tech sold me the wrong part. Im 35 miles away and now must find transportation to find the correct part
Nicole was extremely helpful with her knowledge with the exact part we needed. She was pleasant and it was our best experience we had when it comes to purchasing autoparts.
Super knowledgeable, very fair pricing. Cannot remember the name but there was a young Hispanic male who even carried items to my car for me. Truly a customer service driven company. That's hard to come by! Go see them!
This is probably my favorite O'Reilly stores. They are also the store most of the other local locations will get parts you need sent from. Several very knowledgeable staff who have gone the extra mile to help or give you alternatives when you're faced with a difficult situation.
If you have a problem child like my 88 GMC Truck (grumble grumble) I would recommend going here if you're running into problems.
This Shrek looking assistant manager was the most disrespectful POS of all time. My Veteran friend purchased a part that did not quite match what he had and this clown who was 6’3 385lbs was the rudest parts person I have ever encountered, but 10 minutes later when he had to answer questions to a female customer he turns friendly. This dude needs more training. I will definitely call about this clown tomorrow to customer satisfaction.
The guys helped my daughter with her battery and I am very thankful since we live a couple hours away.
I went to get a new battery and 2 not 1 employees would not put it in my car even though they had signs for free installation. They asked me to change my battery and then bring back the core.i will never buy anything from that store again.
Travis was very nice and made sure I got exactly what I needed. He was even nicer and carried it to my car for me, I really appreciated that. Great service!
This is the store to go to if you have questions or need the right part. Head and shoulders over the others.
