15Authentic Italian pizza, welcoming people, and atmosphere! A must-do in Houston for a chilled Sunday lunch.
Came around 1pm excited to try some delicious pizza and we definitely got it! The buratta and arugula pizza was so good. The dough/crust on this pizza is perfection. Andrea and his team are doing a great job and are beyond friendly! I cant wait to come back.
Hidden gem! If you ever in Houston area, this is a must stop. Pizza is absolutely amazing and the owners are so nice! Almost exclusive haha
Right Now, 9am-2pm Sundays. Come early for pastries and Italian coffee. By 11am Andrea is starting up the Brick Oven. Day Drinking (BYOB) and Traditional Italian Pizza. Menu changes, here is today's 08/14.
Update: now features only Sunday pizza and pastry. Highly recommended to try the maritozzi. Still good an amazing.
Love the pizza and the ambience, the BYOB makes the difference. Ask always for the special pizza, and enjoy the time with friends sharing each pizza and trying different flavors.
This place has amazing Italian pizza, panini and dessert that you would find on the streets of Rome. I have been looking for this type of pizza for a while since my last trip to the Eternal City, and so happy to find it pretty close to home. Try it! Prices are not bad and this family owned business is so friendly. Will be back for more!
Could this be the best pizza in Houston? I am beginning to think so. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. Although his focaccia are available at Spec's, frozen, to bake at home at 450 F for 6 minutes, on Sundays, Chef Andrea prepares these exquisite Roman style pizzas from 9-2 at this location on Yale at Tidwell. And they are spectacular.
Incredible pizza and Italian pastries. The inside was nice and intimate. The pizza dough was some of the best I've ever had. Roman style pizza from the Roman chef himself, Chef Andrea. The Italian coffee was delicious as well, I'll be coming back again and again. Amazing little gem, highly recommend.
Amazing pizza and outstanding service. Loved it and we will definitely be back. If you’re in the neighborhood go check it out!
The hours have changed and they are open to the public on Sunday mornings/early afternoons.
Andrea is from Rome and makes amazing patisseries and pizza. Great place to have breakfast Sunday morning or a brunch if you want to get some of his amazing fresh pizza. He also sells his pizza frozen that can also be bought there directly or at the Specs in midtown.
Completely outdoors, with a very simple but cute and welcoming atmosphere. Great place to have a taste of real Italian baked goods in the morning or authentic and amazing Italian pizza for lunch or to bring home. They also have coffee and juice for your Sunday morning!
Delicious home-made pizza. As an Italian, it is so difficult to find an authentic pizza restaurant in Houston. Well, this has everything I was looking for. I highly recommend it! Andrea and his wife will make you feel welcomed and give you the best recommendations. After the pizza, treat yourself with a little dessert!
Hidden gem. Will be coming back. The pizza was great and the staff was super friendly, they even had Italian coffee and pastries for dessert.
Why haven't you been here yet. Incredible homemade Italian sandwiches, Roman pizza, pastries and more. Amazing owners and food
My cousin brought me to this gem of a place! I love pizza and I have to say some of the best pizza I ever had! I also took home a frozen pepperoni pizza from them that I can’t wait to try. The owners are so wonderful and I really enjoy my experience and will be a returning customer!
What a fun Sunday experience! Thank god Andrea (owner and pizza master) decided to open again after COVID years so we have the chance to savor one of the best and most authentic Italian pizzas in Houston.
Now they also offer maritozzi (Roman pastries), oven baked pasta and other items.
Ma che buooooono!
