Oriental Gourmet Express, Houston TX

I have been here several times but today I leave feeling like I wont be back. Multiple complaints. The Thai Iced tea which you pay extra for on the so called Combos comes in a styrofoam small cup now which I dont like. The water came in a glass glass. The Pho I ordered, which extra price has gone up to $3 now barely had any broth and not much meat. I asked for more broth and was told I could purchase some more. I have never been served a low broth soup here before so it was a change. I refused to pay extra. And what happened to the Spring Roll quality? Not even close to the same as before. Iceberg lettuce was not good. Quality has changed too much and I cant see spending increased pricing for poorer quality. Im sad because this place I always enjoyed. Not anymore

Yummy Vietnamese food that is cooked fresh! I had the chargrilled pork vermicelli and the meat was tender and seasoned perfectly. Attentive server.

Stopped by for lunch and had the Shake A Shake Chicken (?) with a spring roll & another fresh wrapped roll.
The chicken was tasty, and went well with the rice. The rolls were refreshing and delicious, especially with the peanut sauce.

This is the second time I have picked up food from this wonderful restaurant. The combination fried rice and grilled chicken with vermicelli are delicious. The seasoning on the chicken is excellent, and the combination fried rice has spice to it, but that enhances the dish. I have nothing but great things to say about the food, but also about the great human beings who work here! They were gracious enough to help me and my daughter when our car wouldn't start. Thank you guys for jumping our battery, we made it home! Thank you for everything! We we'll see you next time!

Fast service, food is delicious, unfortunately no free refill. You can tell it's clean because there are scrubbers, buckets and cleaning supplies all over the place.

Schneller Service, Essen ist lecker, leider kein free refill. Man erkennt, dass es sauber ist, weil an allen Stellen Schrubber, Eimer und Reinigungsmittel herumstehen.
Klarer Tipp nach einem Besuch bei der NASA, dort ist das Essen viel teurer.

Always 5 star, I've tried a different meal every time, and its fantastic each time. Its hard to go wrong, and its great value. Highly recommend giving it a try.

Lovely relaxed environment too

Accidentally came in right before closing and they still gave us 10/10 customer service. The food is spectacular with high quality of meats and dishes. Would definitely recommend to friends and family!

Chicken was super dry and tasted artificial. Although the price was fine, it was still to expensive for the poor quality.
The ratings for this Restaurant are def.too high!

This was my first visit, and it will most certainly not be my last! The charcuterie board was a great combination of salty and sweet flavors. Not to add the restaurant is stunning.

First time ever having Vietnamese and thoroughly impressed. Not only delicious and was ready less than 10 min after ordering, but they even cut vents in the takeout container to prevent the egg rolls from getting soggy. Will absolutely be back.

Strange side note, but they also have great toothpicks.

My First experience with this cuisine was totally worth it. Ordered 4 entrees and 2 appetizers and all of them were tasty and fresh. Absolutely love this place. Will always visit anytime I am in Houston.

I paid $10 for Grilled Pork Rice Plate. It was priced too high and got too little.
At Pho 21 on Bay Area you can get twice the amount for $8.

I went there with my husband and my two yo son. We love it! Their foods are the best! Make me wanna try every single menu. Everyone was nice too and also was kids friendly. We will definitely go back!

I generally have a rule that for the best pho you go somewhere with a number in the title, but this place is THE exception to the rule. I grew up eating a lot of Vietnamese food and this is my new favorite local place to get some amazing pho. My kids had chicken chow fun and i must have had 6 bites from each their plates because i couldn’t stop. The kitchen of this restaurant must have magic brewing inside it. I cant personally attest to the shake a shake chicken, but my wife (who wont eat all of anything) downed the whole plate before i could try any. Amazing food and such a friendly staff. I will absolutely be back! Oh, and their ice tea puts most southern sweet tea to shame, no joke.
