OurKids Montessori School & Child Care Center, Lewisville TX

Great Great place for parents that is very worried about putting they kids in learning center/daycare. The director and staff here is so nice and informational!

Love this school! My daughter comes home knowing new things everyday! I love how much they involve the parents as well. I know my child is in good hands.

I have seen a tremendous change in my daughter since coming to OurKids. I am thankful for the open communication we have with the teachers as well throughout the day!

We love Our Kids and enjoy the fun activities and learning experiences they share with our little ones.

Our Kids Montessori is an amazing school and my son has learned and advanced so much since he’s been enrolled.

My son has been to 3 different daycares before we moved to TX and he never had any complaints. Everyday when I picked him up here they always had something to complain about. They were very unprofessional and rude. Don’t waste your time or money. Pay $50-$100 more and get teachers who actually like kids and are not there just to get a paycheck. I would also like to add, if your child is potty training, avoid this place. The afternoon teach refused to change his diaper. When I asked about it, the director said the teacher in this classroom was told she was not required to change diapers since this was a 3 -4 class. I get it, he should know when to potty but accidents happen and when they do, you need to change it. (Will post pic of rash that occurred) If you don’t want to change diapers, teach an older class! 2 weeks before we pulled him out, the cops were there for a mistreatment issue and I really wish I would have stuck around to see the details.

Edit: Since this post, my son has attended PreK - Second grade and has gotten student of the month every year, as well as, Terrific Kid (only 2 kids per quarter) EVERY YEAR. Needless to say it is not him.

It boils down to the teachers at this place. They were the most rude and in compassionate people I have ever been around. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST! Spend a little extra to not deal with these CHEAP labor daycares that will hire anyone to watch your kids!

The teachers and staff are very attentive. My daughter comes out every day with a smile. I can tell from her brief tenure that she has learned a lot since being there. Also, I have the option of bringing our own food which is not an option in many places.

My grand children go to this daycare. My granddaughter started when she was only 20 months old & this month she graduates from pre-K.

We have had such an incredibly good experience with all of the teachers, their aids, and all of the office staff.

They have been incredibly understanding, flexible and patient.

We also faced Covid while the kids were registered. The school was magnificent, during the confusion and the unknown.

I’m happy that my grandson is still young and will continue to go to this daycare, I have grown attached to the staff, the celebrations, holidays, etc.

A super plus for us is that they also pick up from the local elementary school and my granddaughter will continue to go there for extended day.

I highly recommend this establishment.

We love Ms Sandra and our Kids, the school truly stands to its name. I had tried several high profile day care with my elder child and than was super hesitant to put the younger one to a preschool but heard really good things about our kids from some of the friends, I am so glad I chose to put him here, he loved coming here every single day and had an awesome learning experience, Ms Sandra particularly was so great with making the whole learning experience so much fun and still encouraging the kids to keep learning

My family and I relocated from Memphis about a year ago. I knew nothing about the childcare centers here in Texas and since Ourkids Montessori was nearby I decided to enroll my daughter after I was given a tour of the center.

Our experience has been great. Great management, teachers, and staff. My daughter absolutely loves attending Ourkids Montessori.

To miss tonya “the director” u are definitely unprofessional and absurd for calling a baby spoiled last I checked u can’t spoil a baby bc it’s a baby and if your teachers can’t handle more than one child then they need to take some classes or just be replaced period…… I’ll never take my kids here ever! I have twins so if u can’t handle one what makes me think you can handle 2? Just absurd!

I can’t express enough how thankful I am for the staff at this school. My children are thriving, the teachers and admin staff communicate very well. Both my kids love being here because they are always cheerful when they get here. My toddler’s speech has highly developed since going here. I highly recommend OurKids Montessori.
