Pretty place, nice sunsets, serene to just walk and sit. We try fishing here with many others too

I'm 53 yrs old and have my tiny footprints all over this place since the ability to walk! I now live in Rayburn Country and still enjoy fishing, bird watching, and observing the BEAUTY of this place!

Went down to see the very high Lake Sam Rayburn. It was night already, but could tell it's a neat place to experience the lake. Very well kept!

Beautiful, but needs another restroom built closer to the monument area. Was a good walking distance for the only one we knew of during our wedding there this past wknd. Otherwise loved the view. We were told was the first known to be married there. Idk why, its a beautiful setting. Us McKinley's loved it and Thank the Rangers for helping us with the permits to do so.

Currently, Overlook Park at Sam Rayburn is closed. They are making improvements. This is out second visit there. The first visit was wonderful so I can't wait to see the place after the improvements are complete. This was the first place I saw a Bald Eagle flying in the wild.
