P. Terry's Burger Stand #19, Austin TX

I was visiting Austin & a friend recommended P. Terry's. The fries were good, but the burger was delicious. It's the sauce on the burger that makes it really stand out. The next time I go through Austin, I will try it again.

The best burger I’ve had in a lifetime my time from a fast food establishment. Added onions and pickles.
Of course I ordered P. Terry’s wonderfully delicious Fries, no ketchup needed. Reminds me of home fries.
Last but amazingly think, creamy and a flavor that makes you want to lick the cup…. P. Terrys SHAKES!

So, when I’m close to one, P. Terrys is where it is. I’m never disappointed.

I'm a fan of the simple, unfrilly, and relatively inexpensive offerings of P. Terry's. I've come to this location a handful of times and have always been satisfied by the quality. The fries are delicious and hot. The patties are thin, but good. The shakes are thick. The burgers are quite customizable. All good things. This last time I went, I ordered a lettuce wrap. Ordinarily, I'll get a single patty, but this time I wanted some more protein. I'm not a fan of American cheese, so I didn't want the double cheeseburger, so I asked for a double burger. The burger stand employees happily complied.

However, the pricing here is inconsistent, and as a principle, I find this unacceptable. (In the most lighthearted of ways, but also seriously.) The single hamburger costs 2.85. The single cheeseburger costs 3.45. By this reckoning, P. Terry's is valuing the price of cheese at 60 cents. The double cheeseburger costs 4.85. I asked for a double hamburger and they charged me the 2.85 for the burger plus 2.05 for extra meat. This comes to 4.90. This is obviously not an insane amount to pay for a burger, but that is not my point. My point is that a double hamburger somehow costs 5 cents more than a double cheeseburger, when the cheeseburger comes with more, namely two slices of cheese. Which, according to the difference in price between a single hamburger and a single cheeseburger, should be valued at 1.20. This means that a double burger should be 3.65. Tbh, I don't care how much you charge for cheese, I just have a problem with inconsistency in pricing, and that a double burger without cheese somehow costs more than a double burger with cheese.
I rest my case.

P. Terry's has such a cute aesthetic, and the employees at this particular restaurant seem happy with their job. The food itself is fantastic.

Food was ok, for once. Pterrys had put me off ever going again years ago, so when I tried this one, was concerned. This one was ok.

Great Burger for the price. The shakes are to die for! Hammock French Fries, it's a laid back place. Go to whole foods if you complain about this establishments food and pay an arm and a leg for wordy food. Hat tip to P. Terry's Burger Stand.

Never in my last 4 years have I ever had an order be as messed up as this one! Please do better I love pterrys

Asked for an addition to my order at the window, after waiting for a while, they gave me the wrong order entirely.

A combo meal price is better than others. However, the chicken crispy, seems like it is a frozen patty.

This is a drive through only location and the food was not up to P Terry's usual standard.

This chicken burger was the best one I’ve had in the three years I’ve been eating P. Terry’s. Whatever this crew did tonight was on point! Fluffy bun, hot crispy chicken, veggies were crisp. Also the woman who was working the drive thru was super sweet and gave my pups treats!

Burgers are okay. That's not bad, they are tasty but don't really stand out as anything different. But, they don't need to stand out, really, do they? Just a good regular burger. What you need to be going there to get is the French fries and the drinks. When was the last time you noticed how good the cola tasted at a fast food restaurant? When was the last time you admired the French fries for their aesthetic as well as taste? Well, you don't have to dwell on it, just go here and see for yourself

My go to spot every week, I come here with the boys and just hang out in the lot chatting it up while enjoying some good eats

First time visiting and didn't get the onions we ordered on both burgers or the jalapenos on one burger.

Thought this place would be serve a tasty burger with good service. I've seen the restaurants on the frontage road and you wanted to try them. Worst drive thru sound I've experienced. Shouldn't be that hard for the employees to hear the customer. When we got our burgers, they were dry.

Decent flavor combinations, just tasted like our burgers sat under a heat lamp for a couple of hours.

We went through drive through and when we got home looked in bag. No french fries.just burgers. We ate the burgers then drove back to tell them they forgot the fries. They were nice and gave us hot french fries. No questions asked. Yummy. It was first time this happened.we will be back.

We ordered the grilled chicken sandwich and got this awful processed chicken patty. What happened? Y’all used to have an actual grilled chicken breast. Now it is processed chicken ‘’’meat’ patty. ; (
