P. Terry's Burger Stand #24, San Antonio TX

This is the worst food and service. Don't waste your time or money. I thought we ordered a simple, straight forward order. 2 Veggie burger Lettuce wraps with grilled onions and Pickles, 2 fries, 2 banana breads. Got our order. No grilled onions. Pickles thrown on 1 side of a super oily, soggy patty with some greasy fry pieces. Went back through the drive through to get the Onions. Drove all the way home. Could not eat the veggie burger or fries. So I went to eat the banana bread. Only they forgot to give us the 2 banana breads. So I called to speak to the manager about the missing food. "Haley". She remembered our order - not hard since there was no one else there. Proceeded to tell me that she didn't remember us ordering banana bread and that she didn't charge us for it. I insisted that she add up the total for 2 burgers and 2 fries - she said it would be $13.45. Of course we were charged $17.45 at which point she said we could come in tomorrow and pick up the banana bread. No apology. So basically, I paid $17.45 for some food/garbage I had to throw away since it was inedible and I am supposedly going to receive my banana bread when I drive back into San Antonio and pick it up. Like that's going to happen.

First time trying it, and me and my wife loved it. Reasonably priced, not greasy and their shakes are awesome!

I've drove by this burger joint a lot, but never ventured in. After hearing praises about P Terry's from a friend I tried it out with my son. I'm so glad I did! The staff was genuinely happy and welcoming, the fries were like taking the best qualities from Whataburger and MooYahs, the burger was like 5 Guys but without greasiness, and the overall experience was repeated already twice in a week! Even my son applied there after being so impressed with the food and staff. Only complaint is wishing for more, but I added a patty to make it a triple and it was perfect, and under $12 with a combo!

Don’t come here if you’re in a hurry. Ordered 2 burgers been waiting 20 mins. There’s 1 car in the drive thru and 1 other party in the lobby. It is Tuesday 12: 30pm.

The food was fresh, good and hot. Burgers taste like homemade burgers, which I really enjoyed the fries are the best. It's simple but delicious, not a lot of menu options, but I didn't mind. Even with customers, it was too quiet, and the atmosphere needed help. I also didn't see a kids' menu option.

Service and people were nice and pleasant. The food did not meet our expectation and the hype we have heard about this place. Can't believe this is a popular chain. Selections and variety were few. For instance, you could either select French fries or nothing.wow. Quality and taste were par. Atmosphere was like a playschool. Lots of echo. Could hear the guy on the other side of the dining area on his phone and could even hear the person he was talking to. We won't be going back, but we wish them well. Maybe it's just us.

The staff was sooooo amazing
It was our first time trying it and the sweet adorable cashier explained everything to us and gave us awesome recommendations
And then I tripped so horrifically and embarrassingly, and my entire family's tray of food went flying in the air and all over, and they remade our food for free even when I offered to pay and even got me some bandaids for my scuffed knee. How wonderful they all were! And loved the retro food and the cost of the food is so reasonable! Carmel shake is AMAZING. NEW BIG FAN!

Parking is tight, Place is spotless, the Asian lady that was working the registar was absolutely on her game. Great customer service and extremely thorough and accurate. Food came out very quickly. Burger was great, yes its small but for $2.95 it is a real bargain today. Very tasty and the lettuce on it was very fresh & crispy. The fries were greasy. Good flavor but very thin. Maybe we got the bottom of the barrell? They need to be just a bit more thick. We rarely get sauce on the burger but rather on the side to see if we like it. It is actually pretty good. If the fries were a little better 5 stars

Burger good. Fries good but 5 guys still wins there. Every table dirty. Floor dirty. Ketchup empty. Only one other customer when we entered.

The burgers and fries are good. Prices are very reasonable. But the burgers are very, puney, small. We didn't try the shakes.

Burger was okay. Dining area was disgusting. Food and trash all over the floors, not a single table wiped down, condiments spilled and smeared all around soda fountain area. Just felt gross eating inside.

It's good fast food. I opted for the grilled chicken, two patties, wrapped in lettuce. Mama needs her protein! Food is fresh and fries were delicious. My picky toddler even liked her plain burger and she won't eat Whataburger. The staff was very friendly and it was clean inside.

The staff is always friendly, the fries are fresh and delicious, the jalapeno mayo is great on the grilled chicken burger. Just wish they had sweet tea.

The staff is great, the fries are awesome, burgers are on point, and the rootbeer shakes are no joke! I can't wait to go back.

The staff we supper personal and friendly, the restaurant was clean and really bright which was nice. I was really surprised by how adorable their menu was and the gingerbread shake was to die for. On top of all that I think this place has the best fries I’ve ever had. Five out of five stars, will be returning.

My new favorite burger joint. To me, beats all other fast burger places. Amazing quality, never disappoints!

It’s a good thing this wasn’t our first time here. We have been happy in the past but this time we were disappointed. After a longer wait than usual we got our food. Three burgers and three fries were all not really warm. Plus tonight the music was WAY too loud.

Food is good and prices are great
However the dining room was filthy dirty and disgusting

I was the only person in line & took 10 minutes. Other than that the double cheese burger was: hot, fresh, & melt in the mouth delicious.bacon was real & crispy. Will be going back. But if dem boyz don't pick up da pace lickity split. Ima trow 'em a couple boots to hide quartas in dare.
