Pablo's Mexican Kitchen reviews
16Best Mexican food in Richmond/Katy, we go there every time we want to eat good Mexican food
Happy hour is the best time to go. Less kids/families so you can enjoy the cold beer or the great selections of margaritas in peace. The birria tacos/tamales are the best thing I've eaten here.
Always amazing! We moved to Tomball recently and we miss it! Always a treat when we are in town
Walked into Pablo's, and the restaurant was busy, but only 1 family of 4 waiting, so we chose to wait. We were told it would be a 15-minute wait. After watching several people get seated before us and 30 minutes later, we find out that we were forgotten about and would be seated soon. After 45 minutes, the manager comes, Mica Miller, and apologizes and states that he would bring the table a free queso due to our issues, and we would be seated shortly. Then we found out from the hostess that the manager sat another family at the table that was for us and we would have to wait longer. With the HOSTESS, not the manager, feeling bad, she made a 4 top a 5 top to accommodate us.
The wait for the food was average, and the waiter, Thomas was good. Once our food was at the table, WE asked to speak to the manager just to share our displeasure from our visit, and he seemed to care less. We informed him we aren't asking for free food or anything, just good service. He also apologized for forgetting to bring the queso for our table, which he promised almost an hour prior.
Within an hour after eating, I was sick from the food and am stuck staying home, staying within walking distance from my toilet. There are too many other restaurants in this area to eat at. Here, we got forgotten about on multiple occasions, served okay tasting food that made me sick, and experienced a manager who should not have a job in the service industry.
Best restaurant in the area! Want to know a secret. Breakfast on Sunday mornings! Overall had great experiences Recommend the blew smoke plate and the fajitas are great! Better then local competitors. Believe me I tried them all.
Old Review "The best Mexican Food and drinks in the area. Never disappointed, friendly and helpful staff. Only down side is we don't try other places! Image is El Camerones De Brochette, soooooooo good. "
New review, most of our favorite items are gone and the prices are way up like everywhere else.
The margarita is still great and the staff is still great, still the best around but not what it used to be. Bring back the dinners for two!
Food is really good. My only complaint is that the restaurant is very noisy during busy hours.
Food tasted as if had been frozen then micro waved. Iverbpriced food for the quality and drinks little alcohol. Will not return
Tried this place for the first time on Thursday with my family. A friend recommended it to us a while back but we never tried it until this week. It did not disappoint. I like to share honest reviews so I have to mention that I did not care for the guacamole that came with my husbands fajitas (he doesn’t like avocados so I always take his guac) but the shrimp fajitas and the veggies were superb. I had the seafood enchiladas and the scallops were just slightly overcooked, but overall very fresh and delicious! The black beans were so flavorful and yummy. And the Margaritas were amazing! We will definitely be back!
The Crawfish Enchiladas are alright, but the service is fantastic and the waffle fries are good.
All in all, pretty good. I ordered the chicken fajitas for one, but not many fajitas for the price I paid. Delicious though and pretty nice atmosphere a little plain in The dining room. Will try again.
Truly enjoyed the crawfish enchiladas. There was some confusion about the floutas dinner. The manager was quick to respond and make it right. Kudos to him.
Madalyn is an excellent bartender and very sweet! I ordered a cucumber jalapeño margarita and it was the bomb! I’m going back just for that alone. Chef Mack has some fire dishes on the menu and everything I tried was delicious, hot and served quickly. One of my new favorite spots!
This location used to be our go to, but their prices have increased and the quality of food has unfortunately decreased.
Beef Fajita's were nicely cooked med.rare & tender. Could use seasoning to them. Chicken fajitas were dry & chewy. Cooked Onions were yummy. Beans & rice were good. Strawberry Margarita's were good. Soup to go, excellent. Service was fast, nice, and wonderful.
The ground beef tacos are made with chili powder-gross The ground beef enchiladas are made with chili powder Nothing special about this restaurant. If you want good Mexican food go to Donerakis, Ninfa’s, Chuy’s or Jimmy Changas!
