Paesanos Riverwalk, San Antonio TX

Very nice restaurant, conveniently located on the Riverwalk. The food and customer service were excellent! I was even able to have a modification to my meal and it was no problem!

The view was great but the food was eh, at least mine. My father really like the steak but the lasagna was not very good. What they are charging is the view not the food. The sweet tea was too sweet and the pineapple juice was mediocre. The service was slow and just be sure to not feel bad to ask something from a waiter that’s not yours. I still enjoyed the experience though since it was on river walk and it was just a nice ambiance.

Not great service. First off the staff is extremely unhelpful and rude. They say they take reservations on the recording then don’t when you call. We still went. Food was not good.

We went on Monday and Wednesday and had the best service, same server Lorie Wow she is so loving and caring we will be back next month tell her Thank you

Nice restaurant, good location, good atmosphere.
Every dishes we got was amazing! Chocolate cake was rich and delicious.
Recommend to reserve the seat before you go for dinner.

The staff was friendly but we go to an Italian restaurant and order the lasagna and it was so disgusting. Stouffers is better than this place.

It was our final night in San Antonio and the wait was non-existent, so we took a chance. My husband had the veal picatta and I had the chicken parmigiana. My kids picked different kids items, cheese pizza, tendies, and spaghetti with tomato sauce. Everything came out hot and it was so delicious. The cook accidentally burned the first pizza, so my kiddo got a lobster bisque to try as we had all received our food. He loved it. My husband tried it, said it was good. I tried the limoncello cake and I feel that was the best part of the meal. Our waitress was amazing. We loved how attentive she was.

Food was great. Are server was Lorie. She was very nice and did a great job. Got to sit right on the edge of the Riverwalk and see all the boats going by. It was beautiful. All the lights on the trees and boats decorated for Christmas. Great food, service and view.

Wait staff, tremendous. Food, pretty good. Ambience, not too bad. Giving a 4 star. Definitely a place to enjoy at least once. Prices are pretty good, considering you are on the Riverwalk.

Eli was our waiter and did an excellent job! The Mediterranean salad was one of the best salads I’ve ever had. My husband had the baked ziti and said it was delicious. They serve warm bread with the meal that was awesome too! I give the total experience 5 stars! And eating on the Riverwalk is icing on the cake ️ We were here 12-20-21

The salad was not my cup of tea, but the dressing was really good. The bread was basic and I didn't care for the oil with it which was odd because I usually love oil with bread. But the shrimp pasta was really good

Came with my family last minute they were in town and wanted a good time; luckily were able to be seated for a table of 5 on a Saturday night few days before Christmas. Enjoyed it well, I ordered chicken parmigiana and my parents got the lasagna, outstanding waiter; offered the parmesan bread with marinara sauce which tasted great! We were seated indoors; was a slight dim could use a little more light around tables to view the menu but overall nice setting and great prices, as a local resident I highly recommend it!

We came to San Antonio to see the Christmas light on the River Walk. Our server Lorie was AMAZING to say the least. Made us feel very welcome. The service was exceptional and she went above and beyond to make sure our needs were met.

First time coming to San Antonio, this place was highly recommended by numerous of people. Caesar salad was made with iceberg lettuce and had already started turning bad. We arrived as soon as they opened at 5: 00 pm and didn’t get our food for right at an hour, which the manager confirmed was at the proper temperatures but the outside temperature was 71 degrees Fahrenheit and the plate and everything on it was definitely not even warm. Not a great experience, the manager didn’t accept results or accountability. He didn’t charge me, so I guess that makes it ok.

We had the best experience for our anniversary dinner here. Laurie went above and beyond to make sure our dinner was special and romantic. And the food was THE BEST Italian food we have ever had! We cannot recommend this place enough!

Beautiful setting but disappointed with the quality of the food. Not impressed with our food. Sent it back and paid our bill. Sorry.

Food was pretty vile, the Noodles were drenched in oil, food was cold shrimp was battered and was gummy and over cooked.
Mother ordered the Salmon had fake crab stuffed inside noodles were oily I don’t recommend eating here. Only highlight was the beautiful outside seating

We had a wonderful meal with my wife's cousin and her husband. Try the Paesanos Shrimp or the Lasagna. You will not be disappointed!

Vincent was wonderful! Very knowledgeable and friendly. The shrimp Paesanos is every bit as good as everyone said it would be!

I absolutely hated the food and what's worse we waited 60 minutes to be seated and another 40 mins to receive disguesting food, that we did not eat. There was a big hairy dog beside us with another family. My mother and I ordered the crispy chicken with linguini noodles w/ lemon sauce it was soooo plain and dry. Another sister ordered the New York strip it had no flavor was supposed to be medium rare it was over cooked. My other sister ordered the lobster ravioli and the sauce was so thick so she changed it to alferdo linguini and it tasted plain like it was from the can not authentic at all (one bite per meal). All the food was cold. So we ended up paying over 200 dollars for meals that we couldn't stomach to finish. Pro- the waiter was very helpful and courteous and the blood orange margaritas were very good. Other then that I wouldn't recommend this restaurant to anybody.
