I feel like I've given adequate time for the ownership of this establishment to correct it's errors and to issue a formal apology but unfortunately the opposite seems to be continuing. A couple of days ago, the owner of Palazio (as well as Landing Strip and formerly Expose) assaulted one of his tenured staff. After Expose closed down due to extremely poor upkeep from the owner, many of his staff dispersed to Lampros's other bars.
A few days ago, a few of the expose staff came in to drink and see some of the other staff that currently was working there. The owner, Lampros, strongly grabbed the waitresses arm, pulled her back from the people she was serving and said "I hate you and i hate everyone from Expose, you put me out of business! "
Now, here we have people spending money on his business, causing no disruption except what seems to be to his huge, entitled, self-pitying ego. After this spectacle, everyone left. What a great way to bring money in, berating women and blaming staff for his short comings. After this occurred, Lampros apologized to on looking patrons but never once to his staff. "Lampros doesn't apologize to staff" said one of his managers as he apologized to the waitress for his boss's erratic behavior and asked her to brush off the incident and stay on.
It's also worth noting that Lampros had never spoken a few words to the waitress in the year and a half she had worked for him. It's been almost a week, and no apology. In fact, anyone that has spoken about this incident has been fired.
I'm not going to tell people to boycott his establishments because people will do what they want to do. After all, they're not going there to see this piece of work of an "owner" they're going for the women. I would simply think twice about supporting a place he makes money off of and treats the people that work for him as if he owns them. If any investor happens to read this, I would consider buying him out so the business could actually thrive. I imagine it's only a matter of time before Palazio and Landing Strip go down the hole like Expose. Finally it's demise wasn't due to the staff, it was due to Extremely Poor up-keep, advertisement and marketing, and never actually fixing anything that was broken. Let alone sending in pest control for the fleas and whatever lil bugs that lived in the cushions there.
