Palm Beach Tan, McKinney TX

Staff is friendly but I’m sure management has them push products. Many beds have issues that go I corrected for weeks at a time. Know these things going in the door and you will have a good experience!

Palm, Beach Tan just isn’t like it used to be. The tanning beds are not good. I hate they have saturated the market. I have been going there over 15 years, a steady decline. They used to be amazing. Nowhere else to tan they have the market saturated.

I will become translucent before I ever give this location another penny. Worst customer service hands down.

Been going here for years. I’ve seen a variety of management come and go. Previous management was rude at this location - claiming you shouldn’t spray tan more than once a week (they wanted to save money) but Jenna Bibbles BY FAR takes the cake. Sje blatantly lies to your face about EVERYTHING. She instructs her employees to lie to customers. When customers ask to cancel she says they’re canceled but doesn’t ask you to sign anything. Also please stop pushing PBT products - they are the absolute worst and anyone who uses them will definitely feel ripped off. The quality is as bad as cheap over the counter creams that just don’t quite blend in right and ultimately mess up your spray tan. They got sued from Versa Spa for sticking their cheaper quality PTB fluids in the booth. You can definitely tell the difference. It’s a wide spread issue so you know it is coming from corporate. PBT was shady 20 years ago but they are much worse now. Luckily there’s always other boutique options all over the metroplex.

My review is mainly for their account management/billing. I needed to freeze my membership and went in 5 days prior to my billing. I stated I am unable to tan moving forward and needed to freeze. There was NO mention of it being 2 days past their system date and that I would be charged for the month. When I received my bank statement, I called the the studio to let them know I had been charged. They referred to me to their customer service number and I was told there is nothing they can do to refund me. Their lack of communication in studio and poor customer service will cost them a member. I’m sure they do not care based on the response I received.

The staff were welcoming and very friendly. All the tanning options were simply explained to me by the manager without the usual hard push to upgrade but, instead to fit what I was looking to acheive which was greatly appreciated. The salon and rooms were kept noticeably very, very clean with care. I'd drive a little further just to tan there!

I have been going to palm beach for 2 years now. Service is always good & the staff is friendly. Promotions are generous& the beds have real good heat.

Absolutely the best Palm Beach Franchise I've been too.
Staff is very helpful and genuine.
Extreme clean store. Awesome beds.
Fair pricing for the high end beds they use.
Literally about $3 and change a day when you break it down.
Try the RLT. Red light therapy, truly top notch technology and I enjoy it.
I see some negative reviews on here, but they all seem to be from the people who buy the $14.95 month beds.
What do the expect for that. One lady even gave him no stars because she said she didn't know that she had to pull the top of the bed down. I'm sorry people like that do not shouldn't be walking this earth breathing or oxygen.

Jedda and AJ or two of the associates that I would definitely ask for if I went in. None of the usual b******* try to sell you everything the world to get a sale. They're there to help you and will not steal you wrong. Again, thank you for the McKinney location providing such great service, clean beds, clean atmosphere, great employees and all around and enjoyable experience. I can't say enough.

I called two weeks ago check out pricing for tanning. Although tanning prices have gone way up since 10 years ago.but the sweet person who took my call was very polite and patient with all my questions. I would recommend you go get your tanning on for the summer.
