Panther Springs Dog Park reviews
20Some people are a little nutty. While I enjoy my pets, I do not call my dog a "baby. " Any mom for an infant can tell you the difference.
Good size. Has two different sections for big and small dogs. Will hopefully be busy the next time we stop by!
There are a lot of friendly people and dogs that frequent this park, especially before sunset. Some dogs are a little more intense and nosey, mine included, but I haven't seen any dogs that have been a danger to any others there. We try to go a few times a week.
Small dog park is rather small but the trails are great. People are kind and attentive to their dogs.
Great fun for me and the girls. I gotta be careful though they not fixed so I gotta keep eye on them lol dads always worry
Morning crew there is great, familiar faces and dogs always help the dogs with their positive socialization.
A nice park for the dogs, with a good amount of space to run. But, this is a park to go to early in the morning or when it's cloudy as there's very little shade. Overall a nice resource for dogs in the Stone Oak area!
Panther Springs Dog park is a very nice dog park. The design is nice with lots of brown mulch and some large boulders which look natural. It’s not too big and not too small. A good size for the number of dogs they have. There’s a shaded area with concrete and benches for owners to sit on. They have poop bags, water bowls and trash cans available. Most times are pretty sparse during the day but on Sundays before sunset there are a good number of dogs. Usually no more than 5-10 dogs. The people are sometimes talkative but don’t force conversation
A great place to take your dog to play with other dogs. Have been several times and always several dogs for my dog to play with. There is a small dog area and all dog area. The small dog area is usually pretty empty but good for very small dogs. The all dog area is big and has enough room for many dogs to run around.
The only thing is that the area can get very dusty when there are many dogs running around.
We also love to go on the trail behind the park as well. Paved and has many picnic tables along the route.
Nice dog park with an additional walking trail. The park is divided into two areas, one for small dogs and one for larger dogs. There's not a lot of shade, and the water fountains for dog bowls seem to always be out of order, so be sure to bring a bowl and lots of water for your pup.
Great dog area! Benches for sitting. Access to water fountain for people and dogs. Nicely sized with open spaces and trees. People I’ve encountered here (I usually go in the mornings) are polite and easy to be around, and the dog vibe is very chill even when there are 20+ dogs!
Nice little dog park with an all dog area and small dog area. Additionally there is a hiking trail that you can take that goes about 3 miles out! Nice little adventure!
Love this park! I get to skate, cycle, run, take different paths, there a puppies around! It’s a beautiful scenery when you get on the trail as well.
This dog park was very spacious and great for any size dog. Great park to socialize your dog with other dogs. If they argue a bit don't worry dogs are dogs they usually can take a few scuffs. I would certainly come back to this place to have my dog run around with other dogs. Thanks for this space for them, they truly appreciate it.
Really nice trails with dog park located at the entrance. Very scenic. One of my favorite trails in San Antonio.
Good doggy park. Fun for the dogs and very clean. The dogs that come here are well behaved for the most part.
Nice park for the dog park, but also the concrete walking path. There's separate play areas for the small and big dogs. People usually favor the big dog area, but both are equally nice.
The walking path is clean and people usually friendly. Starting from the dog park, it takes you to Wilderness Oaks Elementary School, then to Parman Library with entrances/exits at both places. Of course walking or running times vary, but on average, it's about a 45 minute walk starting from the dog park all the way to the library. Haven't measured the exact distance yet.
The walking path is well maintained and cut short up to a few feet away from the path. Most pet owners pick up after the pets. There's a few bike riders on the path, but they're usually safe and not speeding down the path.
Overall, clean park with nice walking paths and separate areas for big and small dogs.
Best dog park in and around the Stone Oak area! Very clean and everyone is so friendly! Highly recommend if you have a furry friend.
Nice park. The dog area is a little small but there some adjoining trails for hiking and biking.
My dogs love coming here, but everytime my fiancé and i show up, we get profiled. Today we walked into the park and left a minute later because apparently our small dog isn't allowed in the "All Dogs" area and our large dog isn't allowed in "Small Dogs Only" area, so we had to leave, since our dogs weren't allowed to play there. Overall the park is decent but the people that go there are rude
