A dependable quality meal choice
First time trying and it's delicious! Great flavor on the NY Style w/extra cheese and spinach.
Since their location changed they can no longer deliver to Freedom's Path Apts by the VA. It's apparently against their corporate policy and they cannot deliver more than 5 miles from their location. They ha e lost a customer.
I normally find an Italian place for pizza because chain pizza is really bad, the Hut, dominos, the Caesar yuck. First time at Papa John's. I got the 14" works with mozzarella stuffed crust and liked the pizza. First, (the dough is like a canvas for a painting) so I asked them about their pizza dough and found its slow pruffed for two days the same way good pizza shops make theirs. Second, the ingredients tasted very fresh and the mozzarella cheese tasted real and a good amount too, Third, they use real Italian pizza ovens not convayor belt fake pizza ovens. I also got mozzarella stuffed crust first time an it was really good especially with their garlic dipping sauce. All in all a very good pizza. This Papa John's opened just recently, the other one is across the Guadalupe from about where the VA Hospital is.
Tried to order online for pick up. Portal not working. Called to place phone order. Clerk said no because system is down. WHAT! Can't take a phone order and make a pizza for a "customer". Rude and non caring attitude. NEVER AGAIN but I'm sure they could care less. They should just close the store!
Not a good experience. Paid $30 for a pizza. Delivery time said 25 to 35 minutes. Took the guy over an hour. Called the store and he said the driver had a triple delivery. (reallt? Wirh a 35 min delivery time?) the guy told me to order somewhere else if I'm not happy.cool.np.will do

The Kerrville Papa John's used to be really great when they first opened and now I can't get through to ANYONE to make a phone order and when we were there yesterday, we had another awful experience with our order. I'm so sad, because we loved that place, but we will not go back.
Third time I’ve ordered delivery from this location and had a late delivery. One order was over 2 hours later than the time they gave me.
They never have offered or met my request for a refund. Only give the option for a free pizza in the future, which never gets fulfilled.
Just choose a different pizza place in town.
The food was good but the pizza was missing the safety sticker and even though I pressed contactless delivery the driver still tried to interact with me.
Worst experience ever! Got a pizza delivered to my house that was messed up.had to drive to the store, when they were starting to make it the guy messed it up again.finally i got the right pizza but it was terrible made.toppings were barely on the pizza & they forgot the jalapeños! And to top all that off the breadsticks were barely cooked
