Papa Johns Pizza, San Antonio TX

Horrible service all the way around. Paid $25 dollars for a large and a 2 liter to be delivered. Had to order through an answering service because they don't take their own orders. Then the driver never rang the bell or knocked. I was hoping they would because I tip in cash. Didn't know my food was there for 45 minutes. Now it's cold. I don't like Papa John's, and they just confirmed why.

Paid for 2 cups of ranch, got none. Called the store to speak to a manager and sat on hold for 10mins, called the call center and got sent back to hold for the store. GREAT COMMUNICATION LOL

This was the worse time ever ordering pizza from this place. Horrible customer service ever who ever pick up phone don't need pick up the phone. Im really am mad about this experience with this location.

The food is fine but placing an order online is the worst. This is the 3rd experience in 4 months where the online order couldn't be submitted. Today it was because either the order was too big (1 pepperoni pizza) or the time had to be corrected. I seriously tried 6 times selecting different times from the drop down menu and nothing was accepted. I finally had to call it in.and they couldn't get the order in because of the pending online order I couldn't submit. Also, you have to manually type out your email address or it's invalid. Just call in the order. Don't waste your time ordering online as they apparently don't care to fix their software. This is my last order with this company.

We ordered delivery and it said 28-38 mins. We called at the 45 min mark to get an update. Their automated system said it was already delivered. Called back and spoke to a person and she said it was still 25 to 30 mins. No explanation or apology. They really need to update their system and work on better customer service.

Never ever have I seen a pizza be delivered and put on the side walk. I have a working door bell I have two benches on my front porch but the delivery person thought it would be better to put pizza a on the ground. Really! Worst service ever.

My wife called in a pizza just before I was leaving work so it would be a couple minutes by the time I get there. I was told before I left work that it would be 14 to 24 minutes when I arrived I was told it would be a couple of minutes so I went and waited in my car for about 5. Went back in and was told it will be 3 more minutes, so I waited then I was told 3 more minutes after that I was told they would have to make another pizza that this one doesn't look right. Needless to say I asked for a refund and went to another pizza place. Not sure yet if I will give them another try. If I do and it is a better experience I will edit my review.

Ordered a pizza for delivery, tipped the driver and ready for pizza and a movie. As we got ready to unseal the box we noticed the seal was broken. When we opened the box the pizza was a MESS (wish I could attached the pic). I immediately took the pizza back to the store and showed the pictures of unsealed box and pizza to the manager. They apologized and stated they would re-make the pizza. I inquired about the very nice tip I gave the driver and was informed the driver was not an employee and they use "Door Dash" when they can't meet demand (which I completely understand the plight of local small businesses as a former small business owner). In compensation of my tip I was given pizza rolls which were burnt. As I waited for my order I observed 2 employees tossing pizza dough back and forth with ungloved hands to each other. The dough was brushing against their soiled clothes as they wiped the flour off their hands on their dirty clothes
prior to catching from each other. When I brought this to the managers attention he said I'm sorry but never addressed the employees who continued to play with the dough and disappeared in the back. They have just lost a 13+ year customer.

I had to wait two hours for my pizza my door dash delivery guy calls me to notify me he’s been knocking at the door and calling he’s self order from there at your own risk

VERY DISAPPOINTED papa John’s has outsourced to of of COUNTRY to order the dang food this is unexceptional! PAPA JOHN CORPORATE WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU
GIVE BACK THE JOBS TO AMERICANS what is the purpose of outsourcing orders to India

By far the worst run papa johns ever, stay away. 1st time delivery 90 mins no problem it’s Friday…… 2 hrs later it’s on my way 1 hr drive time I’m 2.5 miles away. There are much better managed store than this one. And it’s been 30 mins and no refund so apparently they stole my money too.

This is my second and probably last time ordering from here. I ordered my pizza at 5: 30pm and had estimated 76 minute wait which for a Friday thought was reasonable. I didn't get it delivered until 7: 35pm. When you call for status you get automated message saying were behind and will notify you when were on our way. That is not acceptable for a business to be successful. I get covid changed things but there competitors have no issues doing the same job in better time. 1st time i ordered from here was hour and half wait. Id order from somewhere else especially if your hungry. Very bad experience both times here!

Good, I grabbed one of the pre-parred Pizza and took it to a study group as a meal, these waiting prepared Pizzas are ready to go, other pizza places don't have this solution hence it can cost an hour of time when one doesn't have an extra hour to spare

Took an hour and a half to get pizza delivered and I live less than a mile, I would of just picked it up if I knew it was gonna take that long

This location is really good for some reason lol. They are quick and the pizza tastes great! Def a good location to go to.
