Papa Johns Pizza reviews
9 I should have read the reviews. Ever since they closed the Mueller one it’s impossible to get pizza delivery. The dominos is tragically terrible and papa Jon’s is so far away.
Ordered with 45 minute wait. Then at 30 minutes it got pushed back an hour. Guy said he was the manager on the phone but who knows. Said he was waiting for a driver. So my food is just sitting there - waiting. Waited and watched time get longer. It sounds like they use DoorDash for delivery - wouldn’t have ordered if I knew that ahead of time. DD is so unreliable. Finally cancelled. Don’t do it. You’ll be waiting all night.
I like here. The employees are generally over middle age and very positive and friendly. They do their job meticulously and with love. Even when I don't want to eat pizza, I buy pizza just to be there:)
The guy with the beard and hat was extremely rude when i walked in to order. I left immediately
We got half off pizzas for our class and it was awesome and the woman working there is so nice and awesome
Idk how long it takes to make a pizza but I've been to other locations and they have never taken more than 20 or 30 minutes to make a pie. Furthermore I never heard of NY style pizza that is an inch thick. This place clearly needs a new manager.
After waiting over an hour for a pizza quoted at 28-38 minutes, the pizza had not even left the shop. I called the manager hotline to talk to a manager who did nothing, said she could do nothing. Pizza took almost two hours to arrive. Very poor experience.
EDIT
I am adding a star to my rating. After going back in and talking to the in-store manager (I wish I had gotten his name), I was given a comp on my next pizza. He was extremely receptive to the situation.
If anything happens to your order you are doomed. I am over 15 minutes on 2 phones trying to get through to report an omitted item. Their advertising banter while on hold is maddening. There is no customer service option on their website. Pizza is OK but I’ll never order anything from this joke again.
I have found that the service has gotten worse over time. In particular, they don't seem to be on top of their ordering technology at all. Plus they are only marginally responsive to complaints.
