Pappa Geno's reviews
20Horrible. Sandwich got lost somehow and I'm just sitting here waiting. Who waits 45 mins for a sub?
Love the cheese steaks. Beef is well seasoned and it’s on perfect roll. Fries are good as well. I Don’t like self serve drinks. Especially in the covid era.
#1 is the best so far! Can’t wait to try again. The bread is crispy from being baked and the meat is perfectly seasoned. Customer for life.
Its the bread. I'm telling you. That's their secret! Just kidding. Its no secret. Papa Geno's has great bread.
Enjoyed watching My food

Instead of waiting on bread to dry.lol
Miss My.
This is hands down the best cheesesteak in Houston. The cheese is mixed in the meat and bread is fantastic. I order the freaky philly. I have not had the other offerings, I go there only for the cheesesteak. The sides are average fried food. I wish they had a chip rack because I like chips with my sandwiches. Either way, it’s a must stop when I’m in the area.
Food was good. It took FOREVER to get our food after ordering. They weren't crowded at the time.
Food is amazing! Service is always friendly and fast. The inside of the establishment is always well kept and very clean.
Delicious. But pricey @ $9 for just a fairly small sandwich, no drink, no fries, etc. I've had as good or better for less. I'd give it a 3 star for value.but at the end of the day they are free to charge what they want to. Clearly they are making plenty of money and have plenty of business so they aren't motivated to lower their prices.
Pretty good. Food was great and not too expensive about $8 for a pretty big cheesesteak. I couldn’t finish it myself.
Delicious and big sandwiches, definitely worth trying out! I even got to see a beautiful sunset next to the location!
The sandwich was good but pretty pricey and you have to buy your sides separate. Staff not friendly at all.
OMG best Philly's in all of Houston! Thought Tornado buger in Stafford Texas had the best but this place tops it
Food with real quality ingredients.the staff was friendly and observant.it has a nice interior.
I love this place and am amazed that this isn't the packed full of people. It deserves to be because this is a Philly you can be obsessed with. They bring in the bread from the east coast just to make sure it's authentic!
People rave about this place. It just an average philly cheese without bell pepper, which is extra. I want be returning.
I'm from the New Jersey Philly area, and have been in Texas since 11-17, I've tried many places that claim to have a Philly Cheesesteak, but this is the first that comes close to an authentic philly cheesesteak. Kinda reminded me of a Geno's or Pat's cheessteak from philly. Good job Poppa Genos.
Great place for a lunch break. Fast service. Food comes out fast, hot, and fresh. Will recommend to anybody with a limited lunch break. Best philly cheese steak in Houston. Price is a little too steep. 1 philly 1cheese fries 1 fountain drink= $15 and change. But overall well worth it.
Omg this bakery is the best. They made my 40th birthday cake. It was the best! I love everything abt it.
