Great experience. All the parking is in the back. They lost a star because they don't enforce their parking signs. I noticed a few people leaving the restaurant who had been parked in the curbside pickup spots out front. They offer a 25% discount for the veterans meal. Service was good and they offered off menu specials that tasted delicious. They need a larger drink menu but the ones they do have are top shelf. Enjoy.

If you want oysters on the half shell, not offered Monday through Wednesday. FYI. That's why I came here unfortunately it's a Monday.

I was visiting frm out of town and I was SO excited to visit this place per I hd heard great things but sadly I never even got to eat. I walked in abt 8: 15pm on 11/03/21 after being in the vicinity of the restaurant for at least 30mins prior per gps kept looping me bck around so once I Finally made it I ws SUPER excited. Upon walking thru the front door there were 3 or 4 staff members standing at the podium.a African American young lady tht was laying/leaning on the podium with the expression "oh Lord here comes another customer" picked her body up for a second and said cn I help you. I asked for a seat for 1 and she said we dont hv any tables but you cn sit at the bar. As she pointed to the bar area I ws reluctant but agreed to sit at the bar per it ws gettng late, it ws my last night and I SIMPLY wanted to try the good food I had heard abt! Upon reaching the bar area. I sat for what seemed to be an eternity waiting for someone to acknowledge me, do an eye skim and say moment or at least offer me a menu while I waited but nope! It ws as if I ws invisible. There ws a bar tender tht ws engaged in a conversation with a couple on the other side of the bar and the longer I waited the more invisible I felt. After abt 5-10 mins of sitting there I decided to get up and leave. As I walked towards the front my eyes met with the first young lady at the podium who ws bck to her leaning position, and she jst stared as I walked out with no attempt to "save the customer" but more of nod to say "good riddance ". Needless to say.a great meal experience starts with great service and the perception this establishment gave me ws that I was only one customer of many and that they are famous enough to take that loss. So unfortunate.

Waiter was very nice and did an excellent job. Always had our drinks filled. Food was excellent. I had the blackened catfish with rice and beans. Great place. Our 15 minute was was actually more like 5. Great service.

Had Chris as our server - he was fantastic and very accommodating. The red fish was cooked to perfection.

The atmosphere had a nice ambiance for our business meeting. Would certainly recommend this location.

I love this place, even when I work there. It have good food, music, and workers. Food comes out on time n fresh as can be.

Very good food. And very nice and clean place. I always go there when i am in the DFW area. I recommend this place.

Gumbo came out cold. Service awkward (she seemed annoyed we didn't order the 8000 calorie meals like the next table over). Combo seafood and sausage gumbo and split a Greek salad w crab. Salad was reliably good as usual. It seems that people go there for only special occasions and order massive frozen boozy drinks and gargantuan amounts of food (and this was lunch!) Shame on us for stopping by for a quick lunch and keeping it light.

You can never go wrong with Pappadeaux. Huge portions, tasty food, vibrant atmosphere.

Amazing food. The crawfish etouffee was made perfectly. Be sure to make reservations and that you ask for Ian to be your server.

We go to Pappadeax every time we are in a city where they have their restaurant! So far we have dined in their establishments in Atlanta, Austin, Dallas, and Fort Worth! Every time we have gone there the food has been excellent and the service wonderful! I highly recommend Pappadeaux, you will not be disappointed!

Great atmosphere. Was busy when I arrived but they got us seated in a timely manner. Had the half Shrimp po-boy with shrimp gumbo. Their po-boys are huge! Even though it was a half it was about the same size as most normal ones. Tomatoes were just a little overripe and mushy. Overall it was a good experience.

What used to be a great place has turned into an average place. The change to the menu, prices, and suppliers really did them in. Pappa's isn't popping anymore. Sad to say.

There was a wait to be seated but the Pre-Thanksgiving dinner was delicious and the service was very good.

I'm from Mississippi and have eaten here so many times. The menu hasn't really changed. New something new. Service was just ok. I guess since staff is hard to find, service was not that great. Will be awhile before I eat here again.

Normally I'm pretty satisfied with this establishment's food but the last two times I ordered food to go has been sub par. I typically enjoy the Ceasar salad with blackened salmon but both times the portion is getting cut with the salad and the lettuce is not as fresh as when I usually order Ellen dining in. This time I received a nice size salmon but is not cooked as requested. I might just only eat you guys when other's suggest to visit and sit inside because now it's getting ridiculous for the price I'm paying.
