Pappas Seafood House, Houston TX

Food and customer service was good, but I don't know what was going on with their bread that night.

I went to dinner with several coworkers. The servers were friendly and attentive.
I have a shellfish allergy and the manager came out to make sure that whatever I ordered would be made safely for me.

I ordered the baked mahi. The fish was very tasty and flavorful. Eveb though I typically avoid seafood houses, I would eat here again and order any fish they make.

The food was real good we had some kind of seafood platter it's a fried platter but we got everything grilled and stuff for the stuffed crabs and you can't get that grill and the drinks were on point they will let you take your drinks out for a little extra money

Food is ALWAYS so fresh and delicious. We come here often and everything we order is very good. Highly recommended for Seafood lovers

Prior to the pandemic Pappas menu prices were reasonable and you had more options to choose from. Now, Pappas have gone down. The prices have increased while the menu selections have decreased. Overpriced food and drinks which is subpar at the least. Pappas will never get another dime from me. For one person a shrimp plate and a beer was $42, which is ridiculous. So in my opinion it's not worth it.

1st time visiting, but I was not disappointed. Tried the catfish plate that came with shrimp and everything was good. Clean, friendly staff, family atmosphere.

Very salty and greasy food.paid 45 dlls.for plates full of greasy and salty. Frys and shrimp.but few days latter.home office contact me to solve this issue positively.thank you for your amiability. Y professionalism.

With a group of 12 he was very efficient with the order, his ability to have the perfect drink when it's ready will and needed.

Not so satisfied with the service. The food was ok. The biggest surprise was when they said they do not have a tooth picks. I’m coming from Europe, and was shocked when I heard this, but maybe for this restaurant is normal.

$30 for 1 crab cake only is outrageous!

I love there cobb Salad, but my favorite dressing is only sold at Papadeaux. It should be at all of there restaurants.

During COVID this place had shut down for good, or so we were told. I was excited when I saw that they had reopened. Sadly, they did not recover. 1st red flag, some of my fave items like Lobster Bisque and Caesar Salad weren't on the menu. I ordered the Shrimp Etouffe and it tasted like dog food. My wife ordered the Red Snapped topped with crab. She returned it since the cooks tried to pass off Halibut as Red Snapper, the waitress confirmed the problem and took it off the bill. This place has really gone downhill. I won't be back because, and I truly mean this, I would have had a better meal at DENNY'S.
