Park Cities Surgery Center, Dallas TX

I had neck surgery Tuesday morning at this place and at midnight I was in the ER because I was in pain and unable to urinate and had to have a catheter placed inside me to drain my bladder. I was told at that time that park cities should never have released me without making sure that I urinated before letting me go home. Someone from park cities called me the next day to see how i was doing and i told them what happened, and all they said was someone there should have made sure that i did urinate before they released me and that they were sorry for what happened, i just hung up the phone, i mean what could i have said to that statement. I went through 5 hours of surgery and then went through this because someone FORGOT to do their job. Please pick another surgery center if you need one, there's plenty to pick from. BTW.this is the first review i have ever left, but i really feel like I needed too.

Had knee surgery in March and everyone was awesome. They were very professional and friendly, would definitely recommend this place.

Had surgery there yesterday. All in all it was a great experience (as far as surgery goes). All the staff from the front end, to pre-op nurse, doctors and post-op nurse were very friendly and helpful. I was pleased and recommend the center.

Whatever you do, don’t pay this place up front! You will NEVER get your overpayment back! They made us pre-pay for an insurance paid procedure (not a cosmetic surgery). Turns out we met our deductible & were only required to pay $500 fee. They have been paid by our insurance & we paid $1439.00. After many phone calls & being told we would get our money back we still haven’t received a check. They won’t even return phone calls now. Unfortunately it was past 60 days when I discovered this so too late to dispute charges from AmEx. My surgery was February & it’s now July! Horrible customer service & accounting system!

Great quality of care in every level from check-in pre-surgery to outpatient surgery to check out. The staff is lovely and caring. I would highly recommend!

This is the second time I've had surgery here and the frustration comes on the front end. They told me, both times, to be here at 5.30am. I'm sitting here on a bench in front of the elevator for thirty minutes now because they aren't open. As if I'm not anxious enough from having to have surgery they pull this. Incredibly unprofessional and I even brought it up during my pre-op appointment. I was assured that 5.30 was the correct time.

Did my Knee surgery here and everyone I met that worked here are nice and professional: Nurse Billy, Rebecca, and Anesthetist Smith, Dr Robert Burgmeier is the best of the best.
