Such a perfect location! The hosts were beyond friendly and helpful! The breakfast was amazing. I'll book again just to enjoy one of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in!
Bravo ladies! This made our anniversary weekend very special!

This quirky cozy comfy B & B is ideally located to explore Austin’s happening South Congress street. Plus, walkable to downtown.

We luxuriated in the eclectically decorated cottage and comfortable bed. The 3 guest rooms share a magical backyard & pool, lit with twinkling lights at night.

Each morning we enjoyed delicious organic vegetarian breakfasts either outside on the terrace overlooking the pool or inside our cozy livingroom. Friendly, helpful hosts & 2 adorable dogs. A pleasure! We will be back on our next Austin visit

I LOVE Park Lane Guest House! I had the most AMAZING experience. I slept like a baby in my cozy + clean cottage and I enjoyed the most delicious organic breakfast. I loved walking around the neighborhood in the morning. Park Lane Guest House is delightful and I will be back sooner than later!

We rented the large cottage for a weekend with our son who lives locally. The location is amazing, the bed was super comfortable, our entire cottage was extra clean and the breakfast was outstanding. We felt safe and comfortable and enjoyed having the kitchenette as well. We highly recommend staying here, daily walks were a pleasure. We will return.

Great experience while embarking on our first college visit. The breakfast was delicious, Shakti was a kind and generous host, and we all fell in love with her furry comet of a puppy. Definitely our #1 choice for stays in Austin!

If you want the full Austin experience, this is the place to stay! Just two blocks from the Continental club off of South Congress, Park Lane is owned, and run by some artistic and friendly people. Every detail has been perfected. The decor is very fun and funky…. And the homemade, organic breakfasts are magnificent! We hope to stay there again sometime.

What a wonderful oasis in the middle of downtown Austin. So comfortable and nicely appointed and the service was 1st class. We will definitely stay here again when in town. Walkable to everything!

This is a hidden gem! The property is tucked into a quiet neighborhood, but is still just two blocks away from a ton of restaurant, bar, and retail options. We stayed here for ACL and ended up walking one of the times, it took about 50 minutes (using the Barton St entrance). There are plenty of pedi-cabs and electric scooters around though so that can easily be cut down. The house itself is quirky and fun, and the gardens and pool are beautiful. The hosts are extremely helpful and accommodating, even letting us have a super late check out for our late flight. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to explore real Austin!

I cannot recommend this place enough. We began our trip at another hotel and left after one night to go to Park Lane Guest House. The owner, Shakti, went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. She even found us on South Congress Ave, walking with our suitcases, to give us a ride. Every little detail was thought of. Not to mention the property is beautiful. It’s a serene little oasis, in the middle of a neighborhood of old oak trees, but walking distance to many food/entertainment options. We have travelled extensively (Europe, Asia, Central America) and this is one of the best experiences we have had. Book it, you will not be disappointed!

This location is a peaceful neighborhood within easy walking distance to South Congress in Austin. The accomodations itself were very cozy and relaxing, perfect for a quick get away. I'd definately consider staying here again.

We absolutely loved our stay at Park Lane Guest House. It was perfect for our mini-honeymoon stay-cation. Shakti was a wonderful house. The breakfasts were delicious. The gardens and grounds we intimate and beautiful. Our cottage was very comfortable. The location was perfectly tucked away into a neighborhood so we felt miles away, but then a short walk to all the hustle and bustle of SoCo. We look forward to spending our anniversaries for years to come at the little gem in the middle of Austin.

My partner and I have stayed at the Park Lane Guest House for both of our anniversaries and plan to continue that tradition. Shakti has made us feel so welcome and provides wonderful recommendations for things to do in town. The property is about a 5 minutes walk from South Congress, which has shops and restaurants, but the property itself feels very secluded and quiet. It’s truly an oasis in the city. The breakfast is always superb. We have loved both times we’ve stayed here!

It will be hard to say something the other exuberant reviewers haven't already stated, but in short our stay at Park Lane Guest House was nothing short of fantastic. Shakti & Co.have created, over the past 30 years, a sanctuary in the midst of urban chaos. Not only were the facilities (our cottage, the pool area, the gardens) delightful, we learned that Shakti - as a master restorative carpenter, buit the three cottages from reclaimed materials and they are spacious, quiet, and functional. Ours had a loft, our own coffee maker and fridge, and even an espresso maker! The pool was sparkling clean and open 24/7 for late nite dips, and the outdoor shower rivalled the indoor variety. But the clincher for us was 1) Shakti herself - a most pleasant and informative host but also respectful of our privacy and 2) her breakfasts! Yes, we asked when we get to purchase her cookbook, these meals were SOOO delicious. While we are not vegans ourselves, it made us appreciate how good ingredients tastefully combined make for an extraordinary gastro experience! The only thing lacking from our breakfasts were "seconds! " Thank you for making our much needed getaway a relaxing, peaceful and memorable time at Park Lane Guest House.convenient to the hubbub of Austin a mere two blocks away but miles from the frenetic pace.

If an overpriced camping experience is your thing, then this is the place for you. Reviews and online materials are quite misleading for what you experience. The most invasive mosquito problem. Stay at one of neighboring hotels because once you show up here, you’re stuck.

Best place we have ever stayed! Shakti is one amazing human! She built the structure you stay in out of reclaimed wood, and even makes you a gourmet breakfast delivered to your door every morning. The garden/pool area is an oasis and you are a 5 minute walk to one of the coolest streets with the best restaurants/shopping in Austin. This is the type of place that we would think about coming back to Austin just to be able to relax here again. Wonderful!

Even better than we expected! We'll stay again on our next trip to Austin. The "Garden Cottage" was adorable, quiet, and comfortable. The pool and garden area were an oasis where we could spend hours to relax/recharge. We loved having breakfast and coffee on our shaded patio-and the breakfasts were entirely homemade and delicious. The location is perfect: just a couple minutes stroll to Congress St, but in a peaceful neighborhood. Overall, it's a treasure.

Vegan and vegetarian options were the main reason for choosing Park Lane, and they did not disappoint! Breakfast was brought to our room with a warm greeting and a sweet smile. My husband and I enjoyed everything from the organic coffee, filtered water provided, full kitchen, and the cottage was so quiet, all we could hear were the sound of dove's and a pleasant water fountain outside.
The Garden Cottage has a nice living room with a TV, plenty of seating, and the kitchen has a little bar area with 2 chairs to enjoy breakfast. To our surprise the toilet seat was HEATED! In all of my 49 years I have never enjoyed that delightful amenity. Bedding was awesome, bed was very comfortable, shower pressure was top notch, plenty of towels, TP, everything you could possibly need in a very cozy setting. WE would absolutely recommend stay here. The location was PERFECT.we could walk to everything and even in the rain it was a nice stroll through the beautiful neighborhood.
