My brother had limited choices of where he could go for rehab after being in the hospital for three months. He was on a feeding tube and in rough shape. We needed it to be in between Houston and Webster, and Park Manor South Belt seemed to be the best option of the three we looked at. I don't want to be negative about the CNAs or others actually taking care of the patients because it wasn't their fault that it was understaffed. I felt like they did the best that they could. The first week he was there, they hired a new case worker. She was helpful. I called down there during the day and the case worker who came on board did seem to be very responsive. But the nurses really didn't listen to him or to me. He had a UTI and it took them over a week to put him on antibiotics. We had told two nurses and other aids he was having issues, and they didn't do anything about it and/or the doctor they reported to didn't take care of it fast enough. I really was worried the whole time my brother was there. I didn't feel like the nurses I talked to really cared. Maybe it was the night nurses that were like that. I always felt like I was bothering them with my questions. (I worked during the day, and never got down there before 6: 00.) He then became septic and ended up in the hospital emergency room. After that, he never went back. We found a better facility for him that he pays for. I felt like the place needed a big makeover. It felt dark and dirty in his room. The staff seemed unhappy and overworked. It was such a difficult time, and to have to worry about his care while he was there made it worse. Hopefully they will take more patients seriously when they tell them that they feel bad or have something wrong. My brother should have never ended up in the hospital with sepsis.

My family was given a choice from memorial Hermann and it included many park manor facilities…and now I know why, Selena is awesome. She answered so many questions that we had. I hate that it was over an hour away from dads house, but we discharged yesterday and I couldn’t be more happier with the progress and professionalism from this team.

They took very good care of my uncle while he was there. Christine, Joan, Amber and Selena have been very helpful in letting me know what is going on with his care. We were a little skeptical about bringing him due to the reviews but we are glad we decided to give them a chance. Our family is thankful for all they have done for him.

I like visiting the elderly people on Valentines Day with the love of family. I enjoy spending quality time my mother and brother on Fourth of July. Happy Independence Day to everyone. It is imperative to depend on someone to learn to be independent.

Very clean facility, nice and friendly people and I really felt very welcome coming there. The residents seem happy and enjoying their stay.

My husband, Richard Gibson, was here Feb/Mar 2022.
The staff left him in dirty pants for hours. Did not bathe or groom him properly and did not give him his correct medications.
I left a bad review here and the managers at the facility bullied me into removing it. I only did so because my husband was still there and I did not want them to hurt him.

The next day I hired a private ambulance to take him to the Memorial Hermann emergency room downtown where his transplant team would be consulting.
He arrived in critical condition.

My husband and I are grateful and thankful for the staff at Memorial Hermann. My husband is recovering well.

If I could give -10 stars that would be too good. This place is horrible. It is so dirty. I don't know when the last time they swept or moped the floors and bathroom. Found out they do communal showers. No privacy and they show no dignity towards people. I took my mom there and I moved her to a different place within 2 hours. I wouldn't want my worst enemy there. If you care and love your loved ones. DON'T TAKE THEM HERE.

Unprofessionalism at its best totally depending on the nurse that is assigned to your loved one. Gl***a is absolutely the most unrefined nurse professional in this whole wide earth. The rest of the staff were great!

My mom stayed there. Nasty, roaches, mud and dirt around the room asked for clean, after I cleaned the room myself. After 2 weeks it's dirty again, I asked to clean, the clean lady came in with upsetting attitude and mumbled, I said if you don't want to do I'll clean it myself but I need your tools, but she raised her voice told me not to touch her tools yelling along with walking out of the hallway.bad. I just need my mom live in the clean room.the administrator called back and concern about the situation. They took this problem seriously, and fixed it
