What an exceptional experience with Park Place Bodywerks Plano. My contact, Dennis Harden, took the time to proactively give me comprehensive updates on a consistent basis at every step of the process without my ever having to prompt him. From start to finish, from the top drawer customer service provided to me by Dennis, to having my car returned to me looking better than new, the team here outperformed at every opportunity and at every level.

Will never go there we are part of a car club with thousands. And when they hear our story it will get around. Now I know why our insurance rates are up because of body shops like this one. You guys quoted me 19000.00 of course insurance is going to total car I found all parts exterior and under hood for 4500.00 you guys are crazy.

Took my car for a minor fender bender and am very pleased with the whole experience right from the start to finish. We were asked to come on a specific day to drop off the car, and when we went there, one gentleman came by to inspect the vehicle, showed us what are the things to be taken care off and when it would be complete. We were getting constant updates on the repair and given a date for the pick-up. Again, the pick-up was as seamless as the drop off.

There is an Enterprise rental nearby who does drop off and pick up for a rental.

Would definitely recommend Park Place for any automobile needs.

I took my 2021 Acura TLX to this repair center in June 2023 after the May hailstorm in Plano. My car was there for 10 weeks (about 2 and a half months). There was little to no communication about the status of the vehicle unless I called. I had to go and pick up my car because they were going to keep it another 3 weeks waiting for the wrong windshield. When I arrived to receive my car, as soon as I opened the door there was grease stains on the seats, 1 razor blade left on the front driver side floor, 1 razor blade left on the rear passenger side, the rear seat was not attached correctly it fell down when I moved the seat belt they had to come out an snap it in, the rear passenger door weather seal was improperly installed, I opened the trunk and found another loose razor blade. Once I got my car home and gave it a wash, I put the car in my garage under led lights. I noticed several clear coat imperfections on the trunk, roof, and the hood. I opened the trunk and noticed the plastic trunk hinge sleeves had no fasteners installed and they were just flopping around on the trunk hinges (both sides). Also, I noticed the sunroof operation button was broken. They could get the windshield for my vehicle, and I had to take it to an outside repair shop, and they had my windshield replaced in 4 days. To add to that they received the funds to replace the windshield from my insurance and were supposed to refund me the difference, (over a grand) I have not received a check yet (3weeks). In short, the craftmanship and the quality was not up to par at this facility, and it is supposed to be a certified Acura repair center.

Dennis Harden has assisted me over the entire process and he made sure that my vehicle is delivered within 10 working days.
Work was very clean and the hail damage repair was on point. Feels like I’m getting a new car again. Shout out to the entire team who worked on the vehicle repair. I would really really suggest this place for any bodyworks.

They are authorized by Insurance for damage inspection and Park Place takes advantage of this. They force you to bring their vehicle for repairs and make all kind of excuses to delay the work. Their system down for more than a week and no repairs or dent removals for more than a week now. Very unprofessional in keeping the customers updated or providing clear information to customers when contacted over phone. Disappointing with their professionalism / attitude.

Lack of quality. I brought my car in for a paint recall service, and it took 7 months to schedule an appointment because they didn't have their certification. After picking up my car I noticed an unbelievable number of scratches on the windows and door applique and the area that they repainted still is chipping. I reached out to shop foreman multiple times through email and still haven't received a response. It's been 2 months now. According to the dealership, the parts are in stock to replace the door applique, so I am not sure why it is taking 2 months to get a response or to schedule an appointment to replace the applique. I suggest bringing your car elsewhere.

EDITED to add images of the condition our car was given back to us in. Incredibly dirty with scuffs, tape residue, and part of the paint peeling off the door.

We brought our car here for hail damage repairs. I don’t usually write reviews, but our experience here was so terrible that I feel I need to. We were quoted at the repairs taking 7-10 days, and they had our car for 32. They were so difficult to get ahold of, and when we did, every person tried to blame someone else instead of giving us a straight answer. Even management failed to take any sort of accountability for the several mistakes that were being made. They messed up on scheduling, ordered the incorrect parts, and filed the invoices with our insurance incorrectly. All of these issues caused delays, but not once did they call to notify us. Every time they’re estimated ready by date passed, we had to go through the process of calling several times, leaving messages, and finally getting ahold of someone just to be transferred several times. We spoke with Eric several times, and each time we got nothing but attitude and deflection. And then to top it off, our car was returned dirty, marked with pink scuffs on the passenger door, and drained of windshield wiper fluid. The only explanation I can think of for the positive reviews is that they are paying people off because I don’t believe this team is capable of doing anything well.

Our car had received hail damage on May 19th and was not able to take it to the repair shop til June 21st. When we were able to get it in to this shop we were told that they were reputable body shop that do good and fast work. This however was not the case, we were told that it would be seven to ten days but they had our car for over a month. Now I feel like I’m a patient person and I understand that things do happen that may slow a process but after two weeks and I didn’t hear anything from them I started to lose my patience. I would call them and never get ahold of anyone I would leave several voice mails before I would get a call back and when I did get the call back they would not take any accountability for anything that was happening and they would give me the incorrect information. Such as I was told that the car was sent to wash and would be ready for pick up and when I went to pick it up the next day they looked at me like they had no idea what was going on and when they looked up my information they said that several things still needed to be done with my car and this is after them having my car for more than three weeks. Then they told me Friday would be a good pick up day and they would give me a call in the morning to confirm my car being ready. They never called me and when I did get ahold of someone they told me that the insurance company never paid them so I called the insurance company and they shown that they actually had accepted two payment from my insurance company. When I brought this up they tried blaming it again on the insurance company and tried saying I needed to pay them to get my car back. When we got all that straightened out I went to the shop and they still said that it wasn’t ready for pick up after a few minutes of arguing they realized that they were looking at the wrong thing again told me it was an insurance issue. After that was taken care of no one there would take any accountability for their mess ups and holding our car for far longer then was originally told and just the clear unprofessionalism of this place leads me to the conclusion I will never return for any kind of service and I strongly recommend that no one does unless they like being treated with disrespect and that you are less then them.

This was the Worst customer service ever. Dont waste your time. The service clerks will tell you that they are too busy to help you. Lucky for us we found another Acura service dealer that gave us service immeditely and we replace the window glass the same day.

After waiting a month for a repair appointment I brought my car to this repair shop. Ahead of servicing my vehicle they requested full payment - as this was an insurance claim I reached out to my insurance to explain the situation. I was advised that no REPUTABLE repair shop would request payment ahead of completing the work. I called another body shop and they confirmed this. I spoke with the manager and he said they want payment ahead of repair in case you trade in your car and they are stuck with un-used parts. How I would do this when they are in possession of the vehicle is a mystery to me. This whole experience was unprofessional and appeared to be a SCAM. User BEWARE!

Brought my Acura MDX to be have body work done due to an accident. Dennis was such a lovely person to work with! He kept us updated and took amazing care of us. Hopefully we won’t need any body work in the future, but if we do, we will definitely use this location and Dennis again!

I was ready to give a decent review until I get to the bodyshop and see that my windshield was still broken. My car has been in the shop for two weeks due to hail damage. I didn’t expect it to take that long, but I was patient. I had to call once or twice a week to get any updates (first strike). And when I did speak to Gary he gave me the same story—someone didn’t do a task assigned to them. Even though Everytime Gary said he’d called the guy I’m assuming he hadn’t. I get the call today that my car was ready. I’m under the assumption my car is completely fixed, windshield included. But no, my windshield is even worse than what it was when I brought it to the shop. Out of all the times I spoke to Gary on the phone he never mentioned anything about my windshield. So when I asked he said he found it strange the windshield wasn’t fixed. Instead of letting me know before hand or trying to find out why he let me drive to the bodyshop knowing my windshield wasn’t fixed. Being that there’s now a hole in my windshield it’s not safe to drive at all! So now I have to wait two more days to take my car somewhere else to get the windshield fixed. I’m highly upset! Because if my customer is coming in for hail damage and the windshield is a major part why not bring it up or try to help solve the situation. I will say the lady at the front desk (I don’t remember her name) tried to help. But the customer service from Gary…never again.

We choose to pay privately (having insurance pay us the amount of a shop they suggest) since they were supposedly a reputable shop that handles Lexus cars. The bill ended up being almost $800 more than initial estimate. The guy did call and ask me to approve new amount but never said they were fixing thing totally unrelated to the wreck. Just completed review with our insurance company for a supplement and was told the left fog lamp was replaced and other things on the left. The car was hit on right side not the left so they replaced things that did not need replaced and were not part of the minor accident. I feel that I was scammed and until the insurance review was completed I had no idea. This was a very unfair estimate! Horrible service. I explained to car person several times we were paying privately but insurance was paying us. However he never listened to that. In fact from the minute I walked in Bodywerks I felt unseen and I heard. All they cared about was it was “private pay” my fault for not getting written estimate but it took weeks to fix and I just wanted my car back. Will not be coming here again.

Melissa did an amazing job collaborating with my insurance company and rental car company to make this repair process so easy. And Ron and his team took car of the repairs and even cleaned the inside. I was so impressed with the work and service.
