Parker Animal & Bird Clinic, Plano TX

We're so happy with Parker Animal. Dr. Charles B did an amazing job with our dog's ruptured ACL. They treat all animals there as if they're the most special pet in the world. They sent real time surgery pix. Getting an appointment can be tricky as there are so many people wanting to bring their pets there, but if you can wait a day or two, you will be see.
Will never go back to 121 Animal Hosp or even Thrive.

I love this place. This is my third Vet, and super excited I found them. Super friendly, extremely knowledgeable, and our dog seems to love them.

I've been taking my babies to Dr. Bethany Whetstone at Parker animal and bird since 2006. You can feel her warmth and compassion as she examines your pets. More than once I went in there worried about one of my baby's and she put me at ease with her relaxed, professional and caring persona. You may have to wait as I don't think they're taking new patients because of Covid but I highly recommend their clinic.

I brought my little bird in for surgery and unfortunately, she did not survive. The front desk staff and Dr. Whetstone expressed their support for my loss and even sent me a sympathy card in the mail. I was very touched by their caring thoughts and compassion.

Dr. Blonion has been my best vet for my parrots long ago and now my dogs. He is kind, sensitive and knows his stuff. I highly recommend the Parker Animal Clinic!

The care and level of service here is amazing! The clinic is ALWAYS super busy, but all the staff are pleasant and professional
They will work with you on ability to pay, always recommend an alternative or method of care that is amicable. Dr Singh always discusses and explains all courses of treatment and RX if required.
I can't imagine taking our pet anywhere else!

They have very affordable services, they
offer appointments and walk-ins.
Be prepared to wait 10-15 mins at times for your appointment they are very busy all the time and that should speak volumes of how excellent they are.
EVERY one of their staff is incredible, they are kind, helpful and always have a smile. They really seem to love being there and doing what they do.

Friendly staff! Knowledgeable Vets that care about your animals and won't rip you off by recommending unnecessary procedures. I live in Carrollton and still make the drive to go to them.

I just want to take the time to thank Dr. Fran for everything she did for us. I took my 13 year old pup in for blood work because of his age and when we found out that he had kidney issues, it was heartbreaking. She recommended care for him and we did it however, he didn’t quite respond to it as much as we hoped he would and we had to part ways. But the level of care and love for your pet that she has is second to none. Thank you for taking such good care of our boy.

Great place, good prices, nice people. Crowd management, not so much. On the first and third Saturday of the month they offer heavily discounted vaccinations and the problem is that it is a mad house with no queing. Once they do put out a sign-in sheet people start arguing over who was there first. Not fun. I feel it is the staff's responsibility to provide some type of numbering system.or something.

Awesome vet clinic. I've used them over 20 years and recommend them to everyone I know. Very caring doctors who treat both the animals and owners with compassion.

This is my favorite clinic. I first found them a few years ago when my budgie was sick. After seeing how friendly the staff was, how knowledgable and helpful the doctors were, and how reasonable their prices are, I began to take my dogs there as well, even though it was much further away than my dogs' original vet clinic. Dr. Bethany Whetstone is my favorite doctor there, and she has been seeing my dogs for several years now. I love how she treats the most likely cause of my dogs' symptoms first, instead of saying that we need to run a million expensive tests that "will tell us exactly what's wrong" like many other vets (at different clinics, never here) have told me. So far, shes always been right on the first guess; but even if it took another guess, I'd still be happy because it would still be cheaper than running all those tests most other vets want to do. I would trust the vets and techs that work here with my dogs' lives.

I thought my 14 year old Boston Terrier was dying! I took her in to Dr. Whetstone, and it turned out to be a bulging disc. The Dr.said she was in excellent health for a 14 year old dog, and gave me three RX, and all of that, with the Dr.visit, was only 83.00! Plus, I can call in anytime, and the Dr. Will call me back herself to talk to me. I wouldn't take my pets anywhere else! BEST VET IN PLANO!

Wow! This place is busy, but they keep this moving, organized, helpful and friendly. Our dog was super sick and need to spend the night, the staff was caring and knowledgeable!

We had an Axolotl and it unfortunately passed away while we were at the clinic. They showed tremendous sympathy and kindness while my boyfriend and I bawled our eyes out from grief. We only checked our mail today due to moving to a new place and noticed they sent us a card signed by everyone there. It was a small, yet sweet gesture. It was our first visit there, but won’t be our last since we’ll soon bring our new pet cat in!

I was very pleased with Brian, the vet tech who took care of my very nervous Weimaraner with such confidence and ease. After being referred to Parker Animal & Bird Clinic, I came hoping to get Abby's nails clipped. Brian and his team delivered! They took great care of Abby.even through her panic attack. Brian then proceeded to give me tips on how to reduce her anxiety for her next visit. Very impressed with him. I gave 4 stars, however, for the behavior of some of the desk staff and the very "cold" reception I received. Brian is the only reason I will return.

Great place. They definitely care about animals and at the same time they understand owners who don't want to spend a fortune caring for them. Always busy so be prepared to wait.

My husband and I were looking for a vet that sees birds, and there is a vet here that does! He was very good with our birds and informed us about how to properly care for them. If we need to bring them to a vet again, we would definitely bring them here! The staff here overall is very nice. The place does feel kind of small; we had to make sure our birds were kept secure and didn't get freaked out from all the dogs near them.

We have taken our animals to this clinic since 1990. They care and are reasonable. I don’t trust my furry friends to be taken care of by any other group!
