13I paid 12 dls for a capacitor that was 9 dls on Amazon. It's worth it. Absolutely my #1 place for me whenever I need any AC supplies. I have been able to buy the capacitors and other pieces sooner than the 2-day amazon service. They are very kind and provide advice if needed. It's very convenient to have this store available for residential. Great option
I would truly recommend Partsco to anyone who needs a residential or commercial HVAC part! I came here looking for a capacitor for a friend's outdoor compressor and not only did they have the exact part I needed but they also recommended a coil clear that make the AC work more efficiently! Partsco most definitely added a year or two of additional life to my friend's AC. Ask for Donna when you go! She is very knowledgeable in the anatomy and function of the HVAC System!
Thank you Partsco for everything! I will be returning in the future. You can count on that.
Great service. Helped me get the right capacitor and showed me the right way to install. They could have up sold me to a more expensive one but didn't. A DIY guys dream.
+5 for knowledge and customer assistance. -3 for price gouging. $300+ for a condenser motor. Give me a break. Homeowners… do your research. If you are paying more than $100, you are getting ripped off.
Edit based on Owner Response:
"Baseless and misguided". -1 stars.
I'm a class A licensed Mechanical Contractor whos been in the HVAC industry for 23 years, my review is factual. I went to Johnstone Supply and purchased the motor and capacitor for $117.
Purchased a capacitor on Sunday. Price was a bit higher than what you'd find online but I think having a place that's open and accessible every day makes up for the premium. You're able to speak to someone and ask questions if needed.
Great business, great parts, and most importantly they are willing to help you anytime you need with their after hours support. Helped me out in a pinch and I'm sure everyone knows how valuable that is!
Best A/C supply store in town. I have been coming here for all my parts for my friends and family that need assistance with their ac needs. Partco has always been very kind when I come in. I am so glad they are not like Centry A/C supplies. Keep up the good service and you will have my business for years to come!
Awesome local small business company who understands their customer needs and modified their business hours to open on Sunday during these hot summer days. Walked Sunday Am was greeted and got parts to get ac up and running again.
As I walked into this business, the salesman greeted me and ask how he could help, I told him that I needed an a/c capacitor.he knew what I needed and gave me a choice of two kinds, he also gave me helpful advise on handling the capacitor of being sure to turn off the power, and ground the capacitor before handling it. I was impressed with his service in helping me.great job
Amazing service, the good people that work here have helped me on more than one occasion to get my ac up and going.
I 100% recommend them and will be returning
Fantastic service, knowledgeable and fair prices. Will be my first call when my AC goes out. Saved me $200+. Thank you!
I came home in the middle of summer to an AC that wouldn’t start. I called Partsco 10 minutes after they closed because I thought I needed a new capacitor. He did not even have to pick up the phone, but he talked me through the solution. Turns out I just needed to clean out my drain lines! Simple fix and a much appreciated family! Next time I need an AC supply house I will go with Partsco!
Ms Donna was very helpful
She shared her knowledge with me today to replace an AC unit capacitor. I was going to buy a two terminal compressor capacitor (Trane American standard CPT1233 / CPT01233) for my not spinning fan but Danna told me that isn't the right part for my issue and she didn't hesitate to share her knowledge and suggestions. I only needed the oval shaped capacitor for my broken fan. I highly recommend this business.
