Pasadena Animal Shelter

Went in to bring a kitten in hopes of finding it a home. I was told that since it was in a different zip code that I have to drive a minimum of 11 miles to a shelter elsewhere. This place was only 3 miles away from me. The girl at the front desk was very unhelpful.

The staff is very friendly and very clean. The animal enclosures are clean, and you can see that they are well looked after.

The shelter may be messy but they treat the animals well. The volunteers come and give animals attention individually.

I have tried to get help for the homeless animals, abandoned and needing help. They don't respond to messages, they will not pick up the strays, cats or dogs. They ride around doing nothing to help. While they get paid for doing nothing. These workers at the shelter need to be fired, and replaced by employees who want to help.if you don't want to do your job properly, let someone come in who will.

I been trying to get these guys to help us get this street dogs but they keep using excuses they have no human morals they just don’t care

I forget to take my kitten for it's shots and I called and was told to come on in, very sweet employees

Basically was told since i dont live in pasadena i should let the stary kittens die. Good advice made it easier

I decided at the start of 2022 that I wanted to have another pouch around. I came across a doggie at Pasadena Animal Shelter from Petfinder and went to see. The staff was great and the facilities were clean (and probably even better after fixup from when the tornado whacked them). The downside was that the dog had tested positive for heartworm.but PAS said that she could be cured of them for an additional $100 over the $25 adoption price which included vaccines and "fixing". Muttley is a Bosam Terribull (Boston Terrier, American Bulldog). Now HW-negative and perhaps the sweetest and best-natured dog on the planet. Imagine a 50-pound Boston with a long tail and a wide bulldog stance.

It was great everyone is so helpful and full joy you wanna see a doggie they will happily will introduce you to them

My daughter had been wanting a cat forever, so we decided to get her one for her birthday. After having trouble with a ragdoll cat breeder, leaving my daughter devastated, she decided to go a different route and went on petfinder. There, she fell in love with a tiny kitten at this shelter. The process to meet him was quick and easy. They provide first vaccinations and spay or neuter. We’ve had him for 10 months and he’s the sweetest boy ever! He fit seamlessly into the family. So happy we found him. I would recommend cat adoption from this shelter.

A German Shepherd escaped from the Pasadena shelter and killed my poodle. And they did nothing to help me. This place should be closed down.p

There were signs on the doors that We're saying full to capacity things like that I'm just guessing they need more room or more help, The people are friendly

Came from Colorado to visit family/vacation, called 4 hours before we went in waited 2 hours with my 4 kids and filled out adoption paperwork to get told no can't adopt because they can't trust we will get the puppy fixed or the shots.couldn't tell us on the phone but within 10 seconds a no because we live out of state.

I got my license for my little Storm and was given the wrong paperwork, said Hank instead of Storm.

We adopted our little girl from there and Bella Rose is 31/2years old she is a Dear Headed mixchichacha, wonderful girl, I'm so glad we picked her. Very personal staff.

I found the staff to be very helpful and caring. The puppy that I am fostering is really sweet and healthy. Thinking about keeping her. A friend said that I should help foster an animal. Best choice I have made. I want to thank the staff for all of their help.
