Supermarket Patel Brothers reviews
26This place is crazy, especially the live kitchen section where you have ready to eat stuff. The curries are nasty dripping with tons of used oil. It’s extremely unhealthy and feels uncomfortable instantly after you consume them. I’m reporting this place to FDA, I’m surprised no one have ever complained about this yet. I bought 0.5lb of panner curry and it made me extremely uncomfortable after eating it. This place definitely needs atleast a warning from FDA.
Good place for shopping specific indian items. The grocery is more costly compared to walmart and target.
The staff are very RUDE AND DISRESPECTFUL. The manager is asking the customers to wear the mask but their staff does not follow the same rules, the staff there are not wearing the mask properly or gloves. The workers are illegal and are ABUSIVE with customers. This place needs to shut down immediately before something big happens in that store. The owners are not aware of how their managers are running this store. I have pictures of the staff not wearing masks.
Good indian vegetables and spices are available here. All vegetarian food ingredients are available here. Some ayurvedic medicines are also available. Indian women's dresses are available. Before check out grab some chapaties and vada pau or samosas. After checkout you can pay visit to attached saibaba temple.
By far the worst quality of products it carries, and prices it charges is exorbitantly very high. In Mumbai where I lived growing up, we had groceries of much better quality than this store sells here. Swad brand is by far the worst quality one could ever get. Probably wants to recover it's overhead for the huge store. Avoid these swindlers. I think all the reviews are fake reviews.
Clean, large choice quality fruits and vegetables. I bought several vitamins with help from knowledgeable employee. Thank you
This location isn't a big as the one Irving, but it still has a great selection of spices, chutneys, sauces, rice and frozen items. If you're a non-Indian foodie like me, this is a must visit grocery store.
We have been shopping at this store ever since it opened and it is always an excellent experience. My wife shops there most of the times and the staff is very helpful. The owner (Hitesh Patel) is even more help and tries his best to help all his customers. He is very down to earth and cordial person that values every customer. Highly recommended store.
Nice store. Should get all the Indian groceries here. Sometimes the stocking is slow and a few products aren't available for months but that's been improving. Overall, friendly staff with good variety. Their fresh chapatis is worth trying for everyone who eats frozen chapatis.
Best place to get indian groceries. Just plan accordingly to skip the long waits at checkout lines. Gets really busy during weekends.
Good place for Indian grocery, crowded on friday and saturday evenings. Avoid the crowd if you dont want to wait in long queue for check out.
Like the other patel brothers in dfw area, this facility has all kinds of Indian products. It is 10-20% expensive than the other dfw patel brothers.
Prices are cheapest but very crowded inside and out, specially since parking lot has been reduced
Great place. Always has Fresh items & vegetables. Clean place & staff is very friendly. Highly recommonded.
Selection is better than in other places but watch pricing very carefully, one item may be one price and the same item/different flavor may be another.
Did not like much.purchased black pepper powder which have and in it and upma ravva also it do have sand.selling cheap quality food for high cost
They are biggest Indian grocery store in US but have the nastiest bathrooms. Cannot afford few dollars to keep a janitor it seems
Good customer svc, fresh vegitable, smiling staff and specially manager give. Them love from Hameed Khan
Best place to buy Indian grains, food, ready to eats and spices in plano. They have got lot of varieties of grains and vegetables. You can get frozen south and north food. Hot rotis and curries are also available with to go option.
