I don't think I will ever get over how truly amazing Tessa was and how lucky we were to have her as our wedding planner! To say she exceeded our expectations would be an understatement! Tessa is everything you need in a wedding planner and more. She is calm, extremely organized, creative, detail oriented, and made the entire planning process fun and stress free. We had major vendors (band, photographer, videographer) willing to hold our wedding weekend until we were ready to book as they wanted to work a wedding that Tessa was in charge as they all said we would have a seamless weekend and make their lives easier too. All 3 of those vendors had other inquiries on our wedding date but would rather work with Tessa than the other bride's planners and that alone says a lot about how wonderful Tessa is for vendors and brides. Every vendor that I reached out to immediately responded how much they LOVE Tessa and how she is their favorite planner to work with!
She is straight up a gift sent from above to the wedding industry and brides! My husband and I had a saying during the planning process "Tessa take the wheel" as she was Saint Tessa to us! Tessa really took the time to listen to us and our vision and made vendor suggestions accordingly without ever pressuring us towards one way but instead what met our vision. I can honestly say our wedding turned out better than I could have imagine because of Tessa and the vendor team we had. Everyone on the day of kept telling me how calm I was and our make up artist even said I was the chillest bride they have ever seen and that was all due to Tessa (I am normally not a stress free person so that says a lot). There are not enough 5 stars or words to explain how wonderful Tessa was and how thankful I am we had Tessa as our planner! I have put off writing this review as I tear up every time and am sad our wedding is over as I miss working with Tessa everyday! The hype is real with her and Pearl Events!

Jen Seals was not only wonderful to work with she took care of business. Planning a wedding is personal but also a business transaction. I would not want to plan a wedding without her. She earned all 5 stars as we had a major weather event. Most of our guests had no idea what had to be re-planned overnight. We had so many people tell us it was the BEST wedding ever. Thank you Pearl Events Austin and Jen for your gracious grit and true coping skills.

These ladies on the team? They're honestly amazing, and I often find myself wishing they'd venture out and start their own business!
Now, let's dive into the scoop on their owner, TJ. It genuinely disappoints me to say this, but TJ isn't exactly what you'd call a stand-up guy.

Let me paint the picture for you: my first interaction with TJ happened over a Zoom call, and my significant other happened to be running late.
I informed TJ that I'd gladly provide high level details while we waited. But here's the kicker, TJ quickly cut me off, insisting we must wait for XXX to join us. Throughout the rest of that video call, it was as if my male significant other was the only one that mattered. His tone and attitude left me feeling small and dismissed. That was strike one.

Now, let's talk about strike two - the nightmare of canceling our wedding. We called it off a full four months before our December wedding date. But TJ, like a stone wall, refused to budge on the contract terms, pocketing over $6,000 without a second thought. Contracts are essential, sure, but let's not forget the importance of treating others as we'd like to be treated.

So, here's the big question: What's the rationale behind Pearl Events keeping that hefty sum? I truly hope it's going to support their hardworking staff, but my gut feeling tells me otherwise.

Our wedding was set for December, giving Pearl Events a full four months to fill the gap we left. December is packed with holiday celebrations, offering plenty of opportunities for new business. In the words of a dear friend, 'Go out there, do your job, and find new business. ' The possibilities are endless.

In hindsight, going into business with TJ was a decision we shouldn't have made. Right from the start, it was pretty clear that he lacked the qualities of a decent human being.

Tessa was AMAZING! She had great recommendations and helped me select incredible vendors, she drove a beautiful design vision and she made the day of - and all of the days leading up to it - 100% stress-free. Tessa also made the process so fun, and she made me confident we were making great choices along the way. This is my second wedding and there were so many times I asked her "is it okay that I want to do this or this or this? " - I was afraid to be a dorky 50+ bride! Tessa knew best. Our day was absolutely perfect! Cannot recommend Pearl and Tessa more enthusiastically!

BEYOND GRATEFUL to have Jen Seal’s help with my wedding. After a terrible storm literally destroyed our reception tent the night before the wedding, Jen worked her butt off to re-plan in a whole new reception area. Not only did she pull it off in one day, but it was absolutely beautiful and more than I could have dreamed. I appreciated her being as hands-on/hands-off as I wanted her throughout the planning process. She was extremely professional and left me with nothing to worry about day-of. And again, I will never be more grateful for her saving my wedding from a literal disaster.

Brittney with Pearl Events was a pleasure to work with and was able to take all of the stress and responsibility of my wedding day off my plate! She remained calm throughout the process and provided fast solutions to any minor issues that arose (as they always seem to do!). Brittney was well organized and managed the vendors extremely well, I didn’t have to worry about anything because I knew she had it taken care of! While planning, she thought of every little detail, and when the forecast called for rain the week of my completely outdoor wedding (with no tent plan), she remained calm and provided a backup plan, that luckily, we did not have to use! Brittney was very respectful and professional, she listened to my feedback and adjusted accordingly. Thank you Brittney for helping to make my day so special!

Tessa at Pearl Events was wonderful to work with! Tessa's calm but professional demeanor made me feel at ease during our wedding planning process. Jen Seals from Pearl Events did an absolutely incredible job during my wedding. I was amazed at how she kept things moving and seemed to somehow be everywhere at once, gracefully keeping things on track and everyone in line! I felt like I could fully enjoy the evening knowing she had a handle on everything, and I know my parents and husband felt the same. Even before the wedding, I loved her approach to gently guiding us and giving great recommendations then listening to our feedback if something didn’t quite feel right. Jen shaped the vision of the wedding and was always attune to what we wanted.

Becky is truly the most amazing wedding planner to work with. If you want to throw the wedding of your dreams, you have to hire Becky and her team at Pearl Events. She was such a great listener and knew exactly how to bring our vision to life. She is also so creative and was able to add in a lot of fun touches to our wedding based off of our personalities and vision. She has a great eye and the best contacts in town, and I know for a fact that my wedding wouldn't be as spectacular as it was if it wasn't for her. She was able to make our dreams into a reality and she was so organized throughout the entire process. She really created an experience that was low stress for us. Not only is she great to work with professionally but she is also very personable and fun to be around. She made our wedding day so fun and special. I can't recommend Becky and her team enough.

We are a wedding venue located in the Texas Hill country. We were blessed to work with Pearl Events- Madison Didier several times as we got to learn the wedding venue world. There are truly not enough words to describe how incredible our experience has been working with her. She is professional, organized, and attentative to her clients and vendors. Madison goes out of her way to make the brides feel special. She helps the vendors she’s working with have a great experience and she makes sure everything runs smoothly during, before, and after the events are finished. Tessa was such a joy to work with and made my absolute dream wedding come true! I seriously can't thank her enough for all she did for us throughout our year plus engagement and on our wedding day. We just had our wedding on Saturday, and it truly was the best day EVER. There is no doubt in my mind that Tessa is the common denominator of every single success that we had on our wedding day! We hired Tessa after a recommendation from a friend, and we couldn’t have been more blown away by all of her knowledge, kindness, organization, ideas, patience and help. She never once took longer than a few hours to respond to my (many!) questions or ideas. Tessa guided us through wedding preparations that we had no idea about, and helped steer us towards design decisions that ended up making the most beautiful day of our lives. She never once pushed us to do something we weren’t comfortable with or outside of our vision. On the actual wedding day, she was calm, collected, and she was so caring (making sure I had eaten) She even went out to get my blister band aids, and suggested our after party spot when we were too amped up post reception to even think straight! Tessa Wilson was an angel sent to the wedding planning industry, and we are so thankful to have worked with her!

Tessa Wilson at Pearl Events was an absolute DREAM to work with! I have too many amazing things to say and can not thank her enough for giving us a perfect wedding day. First off, I knew within minutes of our intro call that Tessa was going to be the perfect planner for me. I was upfront with wanting to be very involved in the vendor selections and the artistic details going into the day. Tessa really embraced this and was always a sounding board for when I was dragging my feet on a decision or needed recommendations. Tessa is honest and helpful. It is inevitable that minor things will go wrong but Tessa navigated any issue quietly and quickly. She made it very easy to stay calm and enjoy the night. It has been two months since our February 2023 wedding and I'm still over the moon about how perfect our day was and it is all because of Madison Didier with Pearl Events. By the end of our first consultation meeting, I knew Madison was the wedding planner for us. She is truly impeccable in communication, style, and taste.

Madison saw our vision for a small, intimate ceremony leading into a big party with friends and family and made it happen. She helped us pick a truly impeccable vendor list and took care of all communication with them. Madison provided insight and thoughtful advice every step of our wedding planning process, whether it be deciding on napkin colors, hem-hawing between having a seating chart or not, or choosing passed dance floor props. She was patient and responsive to every question, concern, and anxiety I had. She knew when to make me feel like I had the best idea ever and when to tell me to make a change.

Our wedding day was truly perfect and it's all Madison's fault! In the days after my husband and I wondered if anything went wrong behind the scenes the whole day because we truly had no idea. Madison and her assistants, Kara and Brittney, made sure my husband and I had everything we needed, kept the entire day on track, and helped wrangle our families. Every single moment was timed perfectly and every single detail was executed with perfection. So many of our friends and family told us it was the best wedding they had ever been to.

After the wedding was over my husband and I actually felt sad that we wouldn't get to work with Madison anymore. I think that should tell you all you need to know about working with Pearl Events.

If you're looking for a wedding planner, your search is over, let it be Jen! Our weekend was flawless and an absolute blast! We wanted a fun weekend with friends and family and Jen delivered.

As a designer, I had a vision for our special day and wanted to be involved in the details like florals, stationary, etc. Jen was an excellent partner who stepped back when I wanted to get involved but stepped up on the pieces that weren't my wheelhouse. (Kayak and SUP rentals, anyone?) The planning process was both smooth and fun.

If you want to have fun and feel relaxed on your wedding day, I can not recommend Pearl Events enough. Even our guests raved about how much fun they had. Jen and the her team delivered an absolute fairytale weekend!

My husband and I are STILL talking about how much we love our wedding planner, Kelsey. First off, from the beginning she was so hands on and organized. She believed in my wedding vision and was my personal hype woman. The Pearl office was so cute and perfect for all our wedding appointments. It was super helpful that they had samples of things. Kelsey was magic the day of the wedding, I sound dramatic but she couldn’t have done any better. Our guest and our vendors were taken care of; I didn’t need to do anything but feel pampered. I will be HIGHLY recommending Kelsey and Pearl Events.
