Pearl Park, San Antonio TX

Absolutely god awful place. If you enjoy honest discourse and rational thinking this place is not for you. If you like basic amenities, this place is not for you. If you like having water on Christmas this place is not for you. And if you don’t like living in a place where they constantly lie to cover up how much this place is falling apart, this place is definitely not for you.

I have been at these apartments since november 2020 and since january 2021 ive been living in hell if i could give a 0 star rating i would.lets start out with the fact that i was paying 1200$ for an apartment built in the 70s that hasnt been updated since.when "cleaning" the apartment (and i use that term loosely) maintenence painted over a roach.instead of fixing or replacing the porceline they instead painted over it and cleaning the tub became impossible to do without removing a pound of paint.the roaches and gnats are out of control.it doesnt matter how much we cleaned they were still rampant and made going to the kitchen impossible.dont waste your time even thinking about moving here.its gonna be hell.

This is my second apartment and this is such an UPGRADE! I moved in, in august 2022 and Samantha was super nice to us! She helped us see the apartment and answer our questions! They’re going through new management so, yes sometimes they don’t answer the phone but overall they’ve communicated with me about rent needs and questions I’ve had:)! The unit I was placed in was really nice, I have a one bedroom with a den (so half of a room) the only thing that was a little off was that I had those tiny roaches in my apartment and got freaked out because my apartment is kept clean. I told Samantha and she quickly put me on the list for pest control! I’ve seen no roaches since then. Also, I’ve had no problems with AC going out or appliances going out in the few months I’ve lived here. The apartments themselves are quiet enough, my neighbors are nice and polite. The community is nice as well. The dumpsters did have furniture near them which looked trashy but a few days later it was gone, so management really keeps up with the cleanliness of their property! There’s also a small dog park and 2 pools:) apartments don’t come with washer and dryer included but they do have the connections and the company that gives you the washer and dryer are cheap enough! I pay 60 for both a month:) overall I really like this place!

I came on a sat that listed working hrs 10 to 5 and really was interested in looking but no one was working and every number I called didn't work. Think twice about renting here. Not a good sign if no management picks up a phone.

It now seems Pearl Park has a habit of deleting LEGITIMATE reviews, while abusing the review system with EMPLOYEES REVIEWING THE PROPERTY and CREATING FAKE ACCOUNTS TO FLUFF REVIEWS.

Now, and until they leave my ORIGINAL, **LEGITIMATE** review as a CURRENT RESIDENT up (the one describing the various forms of harassment from front office staff, a maintenance man who doesn't know the owners of the property, musical property managers, ongoing rodent infestations, partaking in illegitimate business practices, failing to notify law enforcement of federal crimes, corporate not existing, and TRYING TO KICK US OUT BEFORE ANYONE EVEN SPOKE TO US), I will be leaving a review for those it may help.

DO NOT COME HERE. The front office staff will willfully lie, and they seem to think that cleaning up their messes AFTER mountains of evidence (over 4+ months of research and pictures of the property) has been compiled against them, that somehow, in the fantasy they are creating for themselves, will make this impending situation any better for themselves.

If this review also gets deleted, I'll be sure to post another one tomorrow, and I'll be sure to post it other locations so the ENTIRE apartment complex becomes aware of the inner-dealings of Pearl Park Staff and Rockwood Property Management.

Management helped out very well with my unfortunate situation and was very understanding and sincere with all aspects I totally recommend this complex to anyone who wants to make pearl parks a home for them

I've been living here for a couple of months now, and I love it. The Administration is professional and effective. Maintenance crew know what they are doing and get things done, quickly and with no further issues. The apartment per se, are spacious, in good conditions and well equipped.

In the winter storm, we did not lost power or water, (We had hot water and power the whole week, that some major points, just for that). Everything is less than 10 minutes away. Super-markets, regular shopping, restaurants, good Chinese buffet, playgrounds, aquarium.

This is a real jewel, it is a pleasure to live here, the administration keep it good, it worth every penny, you don't worry for anything else at all. They even tell you what is happening on their page. They do Halloween and Christmas activities, for the kids. I'll be pretty honest, i am completely amaze by this place. I recommend this team to everyone, my last complex has a lot to learn and this people had it all.

Look, they are doing the best to put the complex cute, and it shows. The maintenance people are amazing is like any other place i have ever lived. Sam, in the office is a truly jewel, she is fast with concerns, she is on top of everything, she will tell you how it is.

The place itself is nice. They are remodeling the apts, and look cute. The buildings are kind of old, so, expect that in every word. I walk around sometimes with my child, and the ppl seems relax and no trouble. I have a good relationship with my building neighbors. There is no damage cars in parking lots, weird people entering the property, nothing to worry on that matter.

Do i love living here? Yes I do. Do i recommend this place? Yes I do. How long i have been living here? 1.5 yes and pretend to continue. Have I ever had a mayor issue? Yes one and was resolved immediately.

When i got here there were activities such as Halloween, Christmas decorations and more, i do miss that, was a good extra to this experience.

Location is perfect, size is good. Why to choose them? Is good apt to live for a good price, you don't need to worry to handle apt issues, they are fast, you need anything, just ask. Parkings are always available, gym, 2 pools, kids park (not working at the moment, but is there, i hope they work on it soon), now a dog park, trees and trees, good ppl living here, 2 supermarkets, 20 mins away from sea world, 20 mins away from downtown, options when you see traffic in the hwy and bandera, ingram, north mall close by.

We had a great time there. There are maintenance workers who live in the property and quickly take care of requests. Sam (who works in the office) was great to work with. There's a great treadmill in the fitness center and my kids loved the pool.

Other than the roaches the place is good but the one thing that sucks is the pool being closed this year and the potholes

Neighbors, office staff and Maintenance are friendly and caring. Very spacious apartments. Love my 3 bedroom.

If I could give them a negative review I would horrible place. And to keep our application fees which Is understandable but to keep the administration fee which I was told was refundable Is unprofessional but I guess the need it more hopefully they use the money for pest control cuz the place is a dump and had mold and reaches everywhere

THIS PLACE IS AWFUL EVERY SINGLE YEAR THERE IS ALWAYS A MANAGER STEALING RENT MONEY THE SAD PART IS THE OWNER KNOWS ABOUT IT. AND DOES NOTHING ABOUT. BTW PEARL PARK OWNER YOU CAN GET SUED FOR PEST PROBLEMS AND THE MAINTENANCE PROBLEMS AS WELL AS MANAGEMENT NOT GIVING THE RESIDENTS THEIR DEPOSIT. AND ALSO MULTIPLE RESIDENTS HAVE PHYSICAL EVIDENCE AND DOCUMENTATION OF THEIR EXPERIENCES.

And this is at 11: 30 AM at night call maintenance no response no answer I would not recommend apartment to anyone

Stephanie is the best in my book when it comes to living at pearl park she very helpful and have a good team working under her it's never no excuses with them when need some thing done very nice and make sure the property is maintained

I put in a request via their online platform to have the exterior lights replaced and they were replaced the very next day.

I love how maintenance always is so quick and diligent about fixing and helping others. Very engaged to let you know what’s going on. Tim and Diego really know what they’re doing. They make a great team.
