Pearsall Water-Skate Park, San Antonio TX

All residents and visitors to San Antonio should check out Pearsall Park! There’s so much to see and do there.
There’s exercise equipment and a ninja course on the north side of the park, while on the south side there is a large concrete skatepark and multiple basketball courts.
The center of the park has a multi-level jungle gym type structure with a big splash/spray pad below. The splash pad is popular of course because so many people and kids want to beat the south Texas heat. But for anyone interested in skateboarding, the concrete skatepark is a marvel. There are banks, transitions, A-frames, ledges, spines, and a fairly large bowl section. I’ve been taking my kids to this park for 5 years and they always have a blast.
I see many people walking, running, and exercising at Pearsall and it always inspires me. The park is also surrounded by some high ground which you can hike up and enjoy some decent views.
The only reason i didn’t give it a full 5 star review is because the bathrooms could be better maintained and it could use more shade in some key areas. But overall, this park is awesome.

This park is awesome but the parking sucks for skaters because people who aren't skating but are using the water park park on the skatepark side and not the water park side. The water park side is twice as big so why not park there if you're not skating? Most of the time I go there the skate park is empty but the parking lot on the skate park side is full and it's empty on the water park side. Skaters should be able to park near the skate park and not have to worry about their vehicles being broken into. Please be more considerate people.

Very poorly maintenance, grass is 3 ft tall and Look like City gave up on it. I BET if it was in stone oak with them small parks I see 2-4 ground keepers &this Big park I see nobody. Sand to see.

Pearsall Skatepark in west San Antonio is the best in San Antonio (so far). It has a nice variety of transition and street and clean lines. The shade structures above common start points are also a really cool design feature. Great place to skate in San Antonio!

Good hill, a small obstacle track like the American ninja warrior with the time and everything, dog park, soccer field, basketball court, skateboard park, this place had a lot of fun stuff for kids and adults

Oh definitely the best skatepark around the are. If you have kids that don’t skate there’s plenty to do around, bike trails, walking trails, basketball courts, water parks, etc. The skatepark has so many obstacles and the concrete is so much. You got a bowl corner, slants to ledges, mini quarters, rails, a frame rails, euro step, hubbas everywhere, handrails, ledges everywhere. Just everything, lots of banks, usually there’s someone with a ice cream truck selling drinks near. The locals were super cool, very smooth group and there’s people who actually skate that comes to this park. It was super fun.

Skatepark design was severely under-considered and the concrete work was auctioned off to the lowest bidder and was done poorly.

Great place for family outings, they have all kinds of things for the whole family, walking, climbing, water park, skate board area, i will be going back.

Great splash pad and play-scape! Only problem is this place is always packed: way too many people. It's a bit of a safety issue with all the children running around unsupervised and running over other children. There should be park supervision from staff. I've never seen staff here at all

Great playground, great splash pad, and enough for kids to keep busy for hours. My kids ask to come here all the time for the triple Decker playset.

I love this park. So much to do. It is a must if you have children or grandchildren. If you just want to take a walk you have found the right place as well

We go to a lot of skate parks and this is one of the best we've been to in Texas. We almost missed the ninja obstacle course park on the opposite side of the park from the skatepark. It's amazing! A must do if you visit.

1st time here with my son, Pretty good skate park to practice and learn from others, it could use more shade and tables or benches and yes, skaters do bump on each other when is packed, just watch out for that, other than that, not bad at all!

It was the 1st time me and my grandkids had gone and we all had a great time! I let them play at the playground, then we went for a long walk up on the hill which was good for me and best most relaxing part was the water pad! I took my lounge chair and sat in the shade watching my grandkids everywhere between playground and water pad. I felt relaxed because they were having a blast and it was safe for all the kids. There were normal people, no trouble out here, absolutely no bad vibes!

Pearsall park is awesome!
My daughter would spends hours there with my grandson he always look as if was having a great time yup best thing on pearsall Rd was to make that park hands down

Large splash pad, ice cream trucks, clean bathrooms, public spots for chargers and radios, clean skatepark good kids good time. Best public skatepark for sure in S. A.

Very nice place! Sad how people doesn’t respect the place by littering. I just watched a little girl threw a plastic bag on the water pads area. Her father saw that and left it be. I wish I could say something. I was afraid we will have too many Karens in the area. We just moved here from California.
