Update: they told me to email them, it's been 2 weeks since and they have yet to respond
After living here for 3 years and talking to most of the people who lived around me, it's obvious how many of the these reviews are fake. In only a few years, I saw multiple tenets evicted (police involved), lawn/yard care ignored entirely, constant overflowing dumpsters, dogs being let loose, security and trash companies refusing to do their job that you're paying for, borderline violent and threatening tenets, and so much more. When our lease ended, I was so ready to be done with this embarrassment of a "luxury" apartment complex but after the move out, I had to write a review to warn people from being abused by these people. I paid rent on time every month with out issue, I left my apartment in immaculate condition, like it was the first day I moved in. I splurged to spend the whole day Rug Doctoring the carpet and magic eraser-ing both bathrooms top to bottom. I've lived in a dozen other apartments without ever having any issues, so being a perfect tenet is normal for me. I turned everything in early and asked to do a final walk through as a good faith gesture. I knew something was wrong with how angry and pissy the person who walked with me seemed to be. I give every person the benefit of the doubt and moved on. Obviously the apartment was in perfect condition (I even touched up parts that were damaged before I moved in and were on our prelease walk through) because I like to leave on a good note. During the walk through she brings up a lightbulb was out - it wasn't out the day before but they replace them for free - NOPE charged me for a light bulb. Said the blinds were damaged - they were damaged before we moved in, several requests to have them replaced went ignored, we thought nothing of it - NOPE we got charged for that too. The final straw though was she said something about the carpet, I think she's thanking me rug doctor and making the whole apartment smell nice. NOPE - find out later I'm being charged over $500 to replace the carpet.ok this obviously some massive oversight from an overworked and distracted employee, I've been mischarged by apartments before and a simple call clears things up (I've literally never been charged for anything carpet related on move out from a dozen apartments because of how good condition I leave them in) Just my luck, the same woman who did the walk with me answered my call.
She asked if I had a dog living with me?
I have one 5 lbs dog who sleeps on the same doggy bed all day and never once had an accident inside.
Yeah why?
"Well the apartment smells like dog pee so you have to pay to replace it"
I didn't know whether to laugh at how obviously ridiculous that lie was, or to get angry. I chose to remain civil and respectful and explain how, no, the dog never peed inside and he never walked around because he's old and slept on a doggy bed, we're very clean people.
Didn't matter to her, she was having a bad day and now I have to pay for it. What made it worse was she kept repeating "there's nothing I can do, it's already been decided" as if I haven't got several incorrect charges removed from over zealous apartments before. Instead of being understanding for a star model tenet asking for some basic respect and human decency, she then resorts to insults, yelling, talking down to me, and more lying. Finally she said "just email the property manager but it won't do you any good because she'll just do whatever I say"
I decide that I have too much self respect to continue being insulted by this woman so I make the mature decision to end the conversation and continue the conversation with someone else who probably understands how human beings communicate.
Only that's not what happened as I sent the email, and a few weeks later I'm getting calls from collections. A shockingly embarrassing and out right childish response to what is very obviously a lie by an untrained and immature employee and now I have to take a hit to my credit score because of it.

Despite a lot of ups and downs in terms of my move-in process, staff member Alan and Destinee were very helpful and accommodating to my needs and finding solutions to the multitude of problems arising prior to my move-in date. DO NOT MOVE HERE! They will charge you for the dumbest things when you move out. They will not fix anything. There is no security so you can guarantee your car will get broken into at least once. Literally go to any other apartment in San Antonio before you consider this one.
