Pei Wei Asian Kitchen, San Antonio TX

On Mother’s Day there were only two men working here and provided amazing customer service. Kids were spilling drinks, customers being dirty, customers came in and out, and they handled everything well.

Food taste was off on Generals Jo then they charged extra for noodles and they don’t tell you before hand. I asked for extra sweet chili sauce for my egg rolls and they would only give me packets (I was dining in) do not recommend this place at all!

Food quality, portions and service has dropped at this location. We had takeout today and the lady serving us did not pay attention and gave us Firecracker Tofu with Veggies, when Pei Wei has no such entree. Went back in to show them and the manager/ cook said that is how Firecracker Tofu is served and we had to request no veggies when ordering. I hate being lied to! I wasn't even asking for a refund or asking to redo the order. Just admit you made a mistake. We drove across down cause the other Pei Wei we normally go to has a horrible cook. Time to look for another Asian restaurant.

I've eaten at Pei Wei for years now, and I am convinced that for the price the portion sizes ain't worth it. I also wouldn't mind better seasonal options.

I went in yesterday Friday 5/19 and there was only 2 people working. One on register and one cooking. Staff called out and they were doing the best they could under circumstances. People could get upset and walk out but it’s just food. I asked for the guys name at the register and his name was Kyle. Kyle had a good attitude even though I could tell he was stressed. He was bussing tables, taking orders, jumping on the grill and answering the phones and running in between doing it all. I just wanted to give him props because he could have just walked out but thanks to them I had a nice meal! They both deserve a raise because I wouldn’t be able to do that! Thanks for helping!

Disgusting! Had not been here in about 5 years. Has really changed. Food not the same quality at all. More of a very fast food eatery that a nice restaurant. Not clean and seemed to be understaffed. The main issue was the entire place smelled like strong putrid sewer, to the point we could hardly eat. I went in the bathroom and had to hold my breath the entire time I was in there. Just don’t go.

This is the second time I have been to this restaurant and they do a fabulous job. The restaurant was very clean, the vibe is good, my food was hot and tasted very good. Precious is the young lady that greets you and takes your order and Kyle and Ray are behind the counter. They do a very good job. I would highly recommend this Pei Wei.

Great lunch at Pei Wei today. I had not been there in a long time but the food was great! We had the kung pao chicken with rice noodles. Delicious!

On a Monday night 7 o'clock, they had absolutely no rice.no white, brown, or fried rice! The honey seared chicken was dry; there was no honey glaze on it. We ordered the family feast for a family of six. We were not given any utensils so we could dip out the entrees onto our plates. We had to keep asking for everything we needed. The dinner plates were wet; I had to wipe up the water and dry each plate before we could start eating. This was the worst Pei Wei dining experience ever.

The food was dry, they added literally no sauce except for what is on the chicken. The fortune cookie was so old it would barely break apart. Definitely won't be back for more

I get sick every time. Final straw was finding about 5 pieces of clear packaging trash in my noodles.

Great food and selection. Overall good prices. Fast friendly service. Could use an update on restaurant.

Ordered the Bourbon Chicken. It was very sweet. It actually made me surprisingly tired for the rest of the day. Probably from the massive amount of sugar they must dump into it. Junk food. I will be skipping out on pei wei from now on.

The food was good the staff and service was good the price point is a bit High for the quality in my opinion

Pretty good selection of vegetarian options and vegan options. Too bad they don't give you a credit card option to leave a tip. I hated to stiff them, but I didn't have any cash.

My mother and I ordered a take out yesterday. There was only about 2 customers eating. We ordered chicken lo mein and wonton soup. We didn't get wonton soup we got the dumplings? We didn't feel like going back out! The food was horrible! The food tasted like it had been in the fridge since last year! The dumplings and broth smell like you know some people don't take a bath or shower and they try and put perfume but they still smell.well that's how this food tasted! You can still smell the either the grill and pot or whatever they cook this stuff in! The owner or manager need to start tasting the quality of the food that's being served to customers! That's probably why there was only 2 people after 5 on a Friday eating at this restaurant. The food was not fresh and the wrong order was fixed. The girl who took the order was very nice and did have what we ordered on my receipt. They need to do better we don't mind paying high prices for food if it's good!

I eat here pretty often and love getting the tofu dishes, they are really good. However, I do not really recommend anything with chicken in it. Their chicken quality has gone down but the tofu quality has actually improved funnily enough. Staff is always super friendly at this location.
