I gave this company my $35,000 for 21 windows. They installed the windows and a few of them had some issues where they didn't slide open as smoothly as they should. The technician said it would be about 3 weeks until they could get back out to fix that issue. In the meantime, one of the locks was broken on the window as well, and my wife and sales associate agreed on a style of bathroom window that couldn't be see through for privacy purposes. Well fast forward to today, and the technician shows up and needless to say I still have the same issues with the windows. The lock is still broken, the bathroom window is still the same, and to top it all off the technician told me that my wife emailed, texted, and called the company too much during this time of waiting for our appointment. Truly VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. When I asked about when the windows would be fixed, he stated he would talk to his supervisor and make an appointment for another 2 weeks to fix the issues. Ridiculous! If there was a 0 Star rating, I'd give it to them for customer service! Terrible!

****UPDATE**** I emailed the person below a few days ago and have still not be notified. Tells you what kind of company they are.

Just had some new Pella sliding glass doors installed at the house! The install team was quick and effective from the moment they arrived. Service, install, and product are all top notch. I would recommend Pella for any of my clients!

$300 for the privilege of waiting 1 month for a sales rep to come look at my window storm damage. That's right, no repair, just a look-see and price to repair THEIR windows. I feels so humbled that they took my phone call. Pack your patience when you call too. What a brand!

Just installed Pella windows in my home. I was expecting good quality, since they say they are competitive with Anderson Windows. The quality sucks. If you’re in your forever home, go with Renewal by Anderson.

Photos are of a couple of the Pella Windows (we paid for the mid-tier fiberglass ones). The joints are gapped, they have excess glue or whatever it is in the corners, they are hard to open. We are very disappointed.

The 2 stars is only because they were less expensive than Renewal.

You get what you pay for, I guess.

I purchased my first home at the height of the market in the early summer of 2021, and the immediate improvement I wanted to make was energy efficient windows and doors. I had multiple different people come give me quotes. Pella was HALF THE PRICE of Anderson Renewal and about twice the quality of some other companies I won't name. Install didn't happen until October, about 4 months after I placed my order, but it was totally worth it, and good things come to those who wait.

Fast forward two years to summer of 2023, and I reached out to Pella to see if they could help me find the trim that matched what they put on my new French doors. I was contacted by an AMAZING sales associate named Ron Rogers. Ron helped me find exactly what I needed to trim out my beautiful windows and made sure I didn't pay an arm and a leg for it. I had been thinking of replacing my front door, and thanks to Ron's dedication to making sure I was completely satisfied with my other Pella products, I'll definitely be contacting him directly.

Updated Review 08/09/2023: We have just finished the final leg of our window/door replacement project. The quality of support from our Pella Rep (Anthony Rivas) was tremendous. Anthony communicated proactively, kept all commitments, and provided great guidance / support from order to install. The installing technicians (Jesse and Xavier) were also outstanding. They exhibited professionalism, punctuality, and craftsmanship which exceeded our expectations. The windows and doors are high quality. We have been very happy with the Pella Team, Pella Product, and Pella Service. We highly recommend.

Great experience from sales (Jared), project management (Kelly) and installation (Brian and Jeremy). High Quality windows at a price we found reasonable. Highly recommend.

A complete nightmare! I started the installation process for my windows in December 2022. Between the months of December and April, I had 5 different people come to my home to measure. One of which appeared to have complications with stability because he could not hold his hands still long enough to get accurate measurements. I became suspicious as this measuring fiasco progressed. The windows arrived, the installation process began and the windows were almost 2 inches off in width. I stopped the installation and the measuring process begins AGAIN! Lucky me, during this second measuring cycle there were only two measurement appointments. The windows were promised to arrive within 2 weeks through expedited process for my inconvenience. The windows did not arrive until almost two months later. When the installer arrived, there was one window missing and it was discovered that the missing window was never ordered. I had to wait an additional six weeks to get that window installed. After the missing window arrived and is installed, I'm thinking the nightmare is over. A few weeks later it rains. The windows fog up on the exterior and water is penetrating through two of the slider windows. I call to request repairs and I'm told that this is normal! They double down and state that the tray at the bottom of the window is designed to capture water. This is true. BUT the water was not draining through the weep holes. It sat for two weeks! Meanwhile, I am in contact with several people at the Blanco office in San Antonio who continue to make several empty promises about diagnosing the problem (Examples>>> I will you tomorrow with an update-near happened, I had to call them. Your windows will arrive on a certain date-never arrived on date promised, The weep holes are clogged-only to find that the frame is bowed and the slider is not flush with the frame). Several migraines later, I am still waiting for my replacement window project to be completed. By the way, the manager tried to sell me upgraded windows at a discounted price after all this. INCREDIBLE!

My Advice- If you are in the San Antonio area, RUN-Do not walk when Pella Windows and Doors offers you a great deal.

My Opinion- They are operating on the shoulders of staff and personnel who achieved historic successes with this business and the current regime is ruining a good name and reputation. The customer service is terrible!

We needed to replace a sliding glass that was damaged by the previous owner. Derek Blok came by, took measurements, showed us options and even came again months later to reassess before we were ready to proceed.

From there Adam Moreno was our project manager. He was involved through all steps of the process and even came out to help trouble shoot some potential problems after installation.

Great work pella!

Luis and Rudolpho did a fantastic job for us replacing our front door. Took extremely good care of the new door as well as took precautions to protect our home. Went above and beyond to make our new door install look stellar. Came fullyprepared with a serious tool kit and operated very neatly. Super tidy. Also helped to facilitate the pickup of the old door. Very skilled and confident which has so much value today.

Purchasing Pella windows and doors for our Colorado house was the biggest mistake that I could have made on the project. The doors and windows were promised in July but came trickling in at 5 different times so I could not have them loaded and delivered in one package. This required 4 or 5 trips from Colorado to San Antonio to pickup the windows and/or doors, which wiped out most if not all of the savings over purchasing them in Colorado at a premium. The plan was to install all of the windows and doors last summer but we ended up having to install much of them in the middle of the worst winter in over 50 years because they could not deliver the product as scheduled.

I contacted the distributor and was told that the factory could not tell them when the doors and/or windows were coming in so I could not schedule the pickup and delivery from San Antonio. Not having all of the doors and/or windows posed problems for getting the interior finished out in the winter with below freezing temperatures, heavy snow and winds. To protect the interior and keep as much heat in the house as possible, we had to construct temporary insulated barriers, which was expensive.

We had ordered a Pella Rolscreen retractable screen door for one of our sliding glass doors. This product included directions that no one could understand. The diagrams were horrible, the product appeared to be very cheaply constructed and the installation took 4 times longer than it should have. I am very displeased at the quality of the product and the installation cost, which was directly attributable to the poor installation instructions.

I contacted the distributor months ago about a missing window crank and have yet to receive it. There were other missing components, such as door lock sets, etc.that I had to request because they were never shipped with the doors.

I have built many homes and used many different window and door suppliers and this was by far the worst experience that I have ever had. Giving Pella a one star review is generous. Order at your own risk!
