We had People's for internet service for about 4 years. It would go out, service rep would come and we're told it's out router. In the time I had People's, we went though about 2 routers a year. This last time after the hail storm came through, again told it's my router, we just bought 7 months ago because again People's said it was our router. A month ago they replaced their device on the pole. Out box inside needed replace once. They came out once and told us we needed to buy a tower. This last time, we went without for 7 days, husband is retired, told they called. Well, never left a voice mail. Seems the longer we had them the worse it got.
Update: response to peoples, we found another internet provider. Strange enough they used our router. The same router people's technician said was bad

People's new "Ignyte Apex" service is a game changer for me. I am located on a lake east of Mineola TX and neither T-Mobile nor Verizon home Internet services are available to me. Next Wave Wireless, since purchased by CIP, was able to get me 25X10Mb by bouncing off a neighbor's tower then to New Hope water tower. Every time it rained I had issues and CIP was dragging their feet upgrading the New Hope tower with basic infrastructure upgrades. People's "Ignyte Apex" service gives me 150Mb plus download and even worked during a recent frog strangler. I know their tower has a UPS and a generator so I have no concerns about power outages or those annoying momentary power blips. Now if they can only fix my coffee maker so it does no lose the time.

They have been great! We consistently get speeds higher than on the plan and customer service is always helpful and kind!

Peoples is awesome. They came out within hours to fix our internet so my husband could continue working on his busiest day. The tech was great and we could not be happier with their customer service. Everyone that has come out to our place has always been so helpful and kind. The office ladies are also so kind and supportive.

Fantastic service. They show up quickly, do great work, clean up when they're done and answer questions completely. I've had them for several months & very impressed with the service.

Peoples Internet has brought high speed internet to an area that had very slow unreliable internet. Along with the fast speeds the customer service has been fantastic. The tech that has come out was knowledgeable and friendly. The customer service operator the attentive and helpful over the phone.

I have been struggling with Peoples Internet for MONTHS now. Nobody wants to help me. The internet has not been good at all. The speeds are slow and my bill seems to get higher every month. This is absolutely ridiculous!

As far as the service goes it is alright. But as far as getting some to help get things fixed is like pulling teeth. I have been with out internet for a week and we, like many others stream for everything, sport, movies, and TV shows. I have had this internet for 3 years now. And I don't run my speed that I pay for hardly ever. I have been asking for an updated route for months because the one that was installed had dust on it when It was installed which means it was used. And if the internet goes out on Friday then you don't have internet at least untill Monday because they do not have anyone that works on the week end except for someone on the phone to tell you that they are goin to send a ticket up to the "next level" I have heard that twice in one week and still no phones from them, and during football season this is a big inconvenience. Originally I had a 2 star review because they were really nice. But after finding out that they are goin to charge me 150 dollar to come out on the weekend when they had all week to come I have changed it to 1 star.

Peoples needs to upgrade their internet speeds in Windmill Farms phase 1.
If something is not done soon I’m gonna look into Starlink.

This internet service provider sucks! Recently, our internet has been going out randomly. We contacted them and they told us that it was our fault and that we had to many devices. But, we have always had the same amount of devices and have never had this issue on our internet. We are stuck with them as we have no other options. Would give zero stars if I could.

I've never had a problem with People's. Daniel, is a wonderful person and can brighten anyone's day. He deserves all 5 stats and more! His customer service is on point!

The WORST internet in the world! Sure they are nice when you call but, the tech's are lazy liars. Its unfortunate that rural areas have no other options.

Very poor customer service. Called them to report internet issues on a Tuesday. Then it went out completely on Friday. They wouldn’t do anything about it. Went all weekend with no internet or TV. We will be getting aTV satellite service since Peoples is not reliable.

People’s have terrible techs and customer support. I really hate doing business with the the people that work in my area. The women on the phone has no knowledge nor wants to help anyone. I really don’t see this company lasting long.

I honestly wish I was able to give this company 0 stars. They charge an extra monthly fee for service related issues which I think is ridiculous since they are already charging the customer an exaggerated fee for service in the first place. I come home today on a Friday night and my internet is out I call the after hours customer support and after telling me to do basic kindergarten level troubleshooting of turning router off and on I am told I would have to wait for the next business day to have a tech reach out to resolve my internet problems. I explain to the IT tech that this is unacceptable so he makes a call to see if someone can come out sooner. They say someone can in fact come out but I would have to pay an additional $50. Are you serious I am charged monthly for a service Tech but I have to pay a fee for you to come and fix your messed up equipment. I swear I will make it my due diligence to knock on every last of my neighbors doors and figure out how to end your monopoly on my neighborhood. We clearly need other service options besides your company maybe then you will know how to provide customer service when all your customers leave for AT&T or better.

This is the best customer service I have ever experienced. They always take my calls, never put me on hold and when the rare outage happens, they handle it immediately. They also go above and beyond to help an old blind guy like me have a great hands free experience paying my bill. I can't say enough good things about these folks. Truly 5-star

We struggled with service for awhile. The right people found out. Sent service techs out immediately and have restored my confidence is this service. A+ and huge thank you to the techs that came out today.
