Horrible experience! They didn’t honor the quote I was given. I had an alternator replaced and they charged me extra for the labor of the serpentine belt. It’s a given this is part of the service. I truly believe they took advantage of me being a woman and not thinking I would know replacing the serpentine belt is apart of the alternator replacement service. We were supposed to get other services done for our other car but after this treatment I will NEVER use their services again. I wished we had read their reviews prior to allowing them to fix our car. Being dishonest and taking advantage of customers is terrible. Daniel the manager was rude and unprofessional and I talked with David the store manager and received the same treatment. I contacted corporate 2 weeks ago and I am still waiting to hear back from them. Perhaps, this was a case of best sense is bought sense, I definitely bought my sense with this situation.

Got an email to confirm on the appointment for conventional oil change. Came the to location, the guys said there was no conventional oil and only has full synthetic oil. If they have to order the conventional oil, it will cost more. This is such a waste of time and very bad service from Pepboys. Should not confirm the oil change I. The first place if the location has no available conventional oil! Will never deal with Pepboys again!

Appointments are not respected, they take a lot more time then what they tell you it will be.

This place is great! Amazing customer service.
I hung out prior to the repair and spoke to the staff some, easy going and friendly, attributes that go a long way in the process of dealing with the stresses of car trouble.

Pep Boys store 6565 is a very unprofessional auto repair facility. The management there was unprofessional and not responsive to my appointment. I had an appointment with only two other customers but had to wait for almost two hours before my vehicle was inspected regarding a tire leak. Will not ever go back to Pep Boys.

Was told that I would be able to get some repair work done
Drove 45 minutes and once I got there the manager said sorry, the technician told you wrong. Too bad. Well here's your sign.

Told me I needed to wait 2 and half hours for an oil change and wouldn't schedule me.

Daniel was so kind and amazing today. And the technician/mechanic on staff was working hard. There were many customers and I know the job can be difficult. Thank you for installing my battery this afternoon. You two deserve a raise and more staffing

Oh my God Daniel and Justin hopefully I got the names right we're absolutely amazing they were able to assist me and also save me a lot of money when you have positive people that aren't about taking a person's money but are really there for the customers and really want to help it shows. I brought my vehicle into their location off of research here in Austin Texas because it stops on me check engine light came on and I was nervous about how much it will cost and Mr Daniel broke everything down for me and Justin the mechanic mentioned hey it may be under warranty we're all about helping our customers and if we can save you some money let's save you some money and they were just very polite and understanding and you don't find that a lot so I really appreciate them doing that I'm a single mother and the fact that they went above and beyond to make sure I understood what the car was doing and how it may be still under warranty was greatly appreciated so very good job Daniel and Justin at peps boy off of research.

Stuck in Austin with a flat tire Friday night. Called Honda Road Service since vehicle only 4 months old and I couldn't find a nail or screw. As it turns out Honda contracts with AAA (which I have also, if needed), but since I'm at an AirBnB (safe, not sitting on a road), not priority. No problem just tell me when.between 60 and 90 minutes. No problem. An hour after the 90 minutes, AAA calls to tell me they will be late. Ok, how late? Probably another 90 minutes. A bit frustrated at this point, and because I have to be there when they arrive, I say why don't we just do it first thing tomorrow. He said when? I said how about 7am. He said how about 9: 30am. I said if you're going to be that late, let's make it 10: 30. He says ok. 6: 30am the nest day I call Honda to ask for a better alternative, language barrier causes lack of understanding and disconnected. Change the tire myself and go about our day. Looking to repair or buy a tire first thing Sunday morning. Call Walmart and they can't get the tire or a suitable replacement for a day+. Call Pep Boys and I can immediately tell I am talking to someone with knowledge. We take the go there. They check the tire.must replace (possible warranty). They cannot get the tire for a day+ also, but they have alternative for my upcoming drive to Houston then Dallas. They're busy but they take care of me promptly. The tire I guy doesn't match, but fits and is the right diameter, so it drives fine. Thank you to Daniel at Pep Boys, 11928 Research Blvd, Austin, TX. Not so much for Honda Road Service or AAA.disappointing.

So frustrating to be running errands, calmly step back into my van, push start only to have the van steering column frozen and the safety lights are all blinking that the brake system is error, anti lock system and all rest of service lights in error! Talk about mind blown. I called Honda Dealership and they said it sounded like battery failure! WHAT? All lights are blinking and other electrical lights working - just not turning over the engine!
I called Peo Boys for assistance for:
1st - towing as the van was frozen in place.
2nd - to run diagnostics to label the problem.
Pep Boys towing was easy to order! Arrived in less than an hour! Eric was such a kind soul and gentleman! He asked van problems. He checked out the van. Hooked up a charger and the van started! Then instructed me that the van could drive to Pep Boys! Just don’t turn it off! Much gratitude given!
I drove to Pep Boys. Front desk clerk, Daniel explained that yes, my description of van happenings sounded just like Honda battery symptoms! I asked to have a diagnostics ran also. Left for home.
2 1/2 hours later - my thinking is pick up tomorrow - I was back paying for services rendered! Pep Boys had me back on the road home! Calling for help and back home - 2 1/2 hours! Service is not dead! I trust Pep Boys! I’ve used them for years and will continue choosing their trusted service and assistance when I have car trouble!

They are very professional and experts. I went for flat tire repair. They fixed the puncture and also did complementary vehicle inspection as part of the service.

I wish I could give more stars but I’m sitting here waiting for the location to open 33 min past 8am and still not a single employee has showed up for work. I had an 8am appointment. I have a job, schedule, etc…
This is the second time this has happened.
Update: it’s now 8: 45 and no employees have arrived for work.
Update: it’s after 9am and nobody is here.
Update: 9: 35am and finally someone is here. No apologies, no sorry for inconvenience of opening 1.35hrs late.

I'm terrible at car matinance and have no dad or fam to help. They took the car super fast for being the last hour of their day, and made the time not as scary as I thought. Anywho ty. They even were willing to stay a little later to help me.think their name is Robert (sorry if it's not)

Pretty annoyed with the fact I scheduled an appointment for when they opened at 8am. Two people got there the same time as me. I had my 4 year old son with me, and I didn't get my truck back until 11: 40.

Had a tire leak that couldn't be plugged. Normally would not buy tires at Pep Boys but the price was competitive and the manager was really helpful explaining my options for an AWD Outback. And it was a Sunday. Pleased with the installation. Immediately appreciated the improved ride.
