Honest doctors and affordable. I can trust every time I go to this vet I will be getting a honest examination and treatment for my dog. I highly recommend.

I went here last Saturday for 3 animals and 1 of the 3 animals hasn’t been to the vet in awhile and is roughly 17 years old, so I was hoping for some Information about what shots she need and had some concerns about her overall health. My appointment was for 8: 30 when I arrived I was told the doctors aren’t in til 9am so I had to just sit and wait. Finally about 9: 15am I was sent to a room & when the doctor came in the room to exam he was very rough with my cat and grabbed her by the neck, once he grabbed her by the neck I did say something and reminded him how old she was and how that probably hurt her (she was meowing like she was in pain) after I had asked him to be a little bit more gentle, he let go of my cats neck (thank god) and walked out of the room without a word, comes back in 5 mins later and ask if I want antibiotics for my concern with her eye. At this point I was not given any information about why antibiotics were needed/suggested and what else she may need and how her overall health is, when I told the doctor I would like more information about why this was being suggested, he walked out again without saying anything, so I got my three animals and left. This is the WORST vet experience I’ve ever had and I will never come back to this location nor this vet ever again.

The Veterinarian denied the care that my baby needed, brushing it off as stress. I think I know what I'm talking about when I say my pet is sick. Later on I had to take my kitty to the Emergency clinic because of it and he passed away soon after. I will never trust them with my pets again.

Horrible! I took my beloved dog to get cremated and ordered a package with memorabilia of my dog. I only received half of my order! They were supposed to include a paw print of my baby and they did not. They forgot to and did not want to take blame. Putting blame on everybody else but them. It's a very hard time losing a family member and they just made it worse! Do not trust this place, they will make more heartache and not care or take responsibility for their mistake.

Saturday February 18th at 2: 50 I arrived to pick up my dog's thyroid medication that they say my dog needs, and as I pull up the workers there are leaving and they say they will be open up again on Monday. Which means my dog will be without medication for the next two days so she will likely begin to feel pain and be highly uncomfortable until then.so as I'm leaving I look on Google to see what time they close and it says they close at 3pm, now I understand that 10 minutes before closing is cutting it pretty close, but I got off of work as early as possible just to try and make it there in time so my dog won't go through pain the next couple days without her medication, unfortunately the workers were quickly climbing into their cars and did not seem like they were willing to help with 10 minutes left it would have been nice to at least have been asked if there was anything they could do to help me. Last time I requested her prescription i was given the wrong dosage and this time i was told they didnt even have her correct dosage and was to receive two dosages equal to her recommended dosage.so because of these little these little inconveniences I am starting to think it is time to find a more convenient and helpful veterinarian.unfortunately she needs her medication so again Hopefully I can get the help I need on Monday.

After calling around a lot of places. I came across Pet and bird clinic. Took my dog here they provided great service, the front desk ladies were amazing. Very clean place very reasonable price. The doctor that saw my dog, provided excellent service. I definitely recommend anyone to bring there animal here.

Dr. Patel and whole staff including manager Roman are the best. If you want pet care and great customer service this is the place you want to come to.the ladies at the front desk are always sweet and kind. Great job taking care of our babies.

Three stars because they have helped my dog in the past but recently haven’t been able to. I took her in 2 months ago for severe itching and they called it regular allergies, they gave me a pill that didn’t work and fast forward 2 months later she has hot spots and has only gotten worse. I needed to get her back in and was on hold for 22 mins for them to finally answer and let me know she will never be able to be seen after 6pm even if they close at 8 because the doctor leaves early. I switched to a new vet that is more accommodating for the working class and values their clients time.

I've been to a few vet clinics in austin and this ones my favorite. Not too expensive, vet nice and professional, and they really seem to love what they do.

30 mins in and out, the vet identified underlying conditions immediately and treatment is working perfectly. On top of that it was 1/3 the cost of the other vet I went to.

I've been with they far a couple of years and I am happy with the staff and the vet. They are my favorite, thank you to the vet and his staff

I was super excited to be seen by this vet since they have high reviews but they turned my cat and I away because the doctor was leaving. At 5: 30. I was about 5 minutes late so that is my fault but it would’ve been nice to get a courtesy call letting us know so I wouldn’t have to get my cat out of the house and terrify her for nothing. Don’t schedule appointments for folks if you can’t service them at the end of the day?

Please do not take your pet here. The staff is super sweet and kind but the doctor is really rude and did not fully explain the demodectic mange that my dog had clearly as I was left with many questions more so because he would walk in and out of the room quick. He prescribed Ivermectin to me and all he could say was be careful when administering as it is a very dangerous drug and just walked out. I followed each of their directions clearly. Fast forward to today, my dog suddenly could not walk and has slight tremors and having talked to the vet hospital that I took her too, they explained to me that there is no reason to prescribe that medication when there are other routes that are way safer. I am so angry and sad the my poor dog has to go through this…please look into other pet clinics where doctors actually care about your pet.

Super frustrating trying to work with this establishment to get an online prescription filled! Don't bother! If it is a product they carry expect to pay some type of admin fee to actually get the prescription! Pretty much like those "fee-based banks" you see in Walmart. Needless to say - its been over a month and I still have not gotten my prescription. I have had to re-order twice and call 3 times to beg they sign off on it, still waiting to see if that actually happens. At this point all 3 of my pups have lapsed on their heart worm preventative! You would think people in this profession would care a bit more about the health of the pets they have seen!

Brought my cat David for a spaying surgery. Great, attentive staff and doctor. My only concern was they didn't have any head cones in stock and didn't mention anything about it until I came back to pick her up from surgery. Had to rush to Petco so she wouldn't pick at her stitches. Other than that, I recommend this place for anyone wanting an upfront, honest and attentive service. Sweet Vets! ️

The staff here is nice and friendly but the doctor himself is unprofessional and acts very nonchalant, not in a good way. My dog has a staph infection or so he said it was, which he barely examined him. Didn’t even really look at the belly area that I told him about. Told me to take care of it on my own and that if it gets worse then he’ll give me antibiotics. I told the front that I wanted to go ahead and the antibiotics even tho the doctor never prescribed upfront bc I didn’t want to come back and pay more fees. He then proceeds to give me a whole other medication for fungal… which staph is a bacteria that needs to be treated with antibiotics not fungal cream. I did my research and called back, this is where it got me. He was absolutely rude and unprofessional and basically said to come back and get what “I wanted”, even tho it’s what he told me I would need but didn’t want to give me it unless the infection has gotten worse which is understandable. But again I wanted to save myself time, stress, and money so that’s why I took it upon my own hands to request for it anyway. It was my first time here and maybe it’s not always like this but this whole situation made me feel uneasy about coming back.

Stop charging people extra to refill flea prevention medication that's not ordered through you! It's unethical at best. People may not have the means to order directly from your clinic or need the extra cost savings. Holding prescriptions hostage for a few extra bucks is crazy! Help pet owners care for their pets!

Great staff, horrible doctor. He was rude, and it seemed like:
1. He didn't know what was going on with my cat.
2. He didn't know how to explain what was happening.
If you need just a vaccine it's alright, if you have an emergency, I wouldn't recommend it.
Also, kind of dirty.

Great clinic! Have been bringing my three furry creatures here for 5 years.
Both doctors, the techs, the ladies behind the counter; all have been STELLAR throughout the years. I drive 30 miles to take my "kiddos" there for treatment.
