13 The location called and asked for us to come in 3.5 hours earlier than our reserved time. We obliged, they kept our dog for nearly 4 hours. When we picked her up, she was not clipped to specifications. She had a huge lock of hair in her eye. The dog did not look any different than when she was dropped off at this location. Finally, they lost her dog tags. When I called to inquire, I was assured someone would call back. No one called back, so I called and left a message. No one returned my call. When I called back a third time, no one knew anything and asked if I really brought a tag in. Yes, I always photograph my dog before dropping her off. In the picture it is on her just before walking in the shop.
I do not recommend this sloppy, poorly run grooming location. Save your money and the stress on your fur baby.
I took my puppy to Petco today for his first grooming appointment. The lady that checked him in told me his appointment would last around 2 hours and wrote my number down (keep in mind she wrote it down correctly). Nearly 4 hours passed and I got worried that something may have happened. I called the grooming department and was told that a text message was sent to me a while ago. I never got a phone call or text! Poor baby was probably stuck in a cage in the back for hours. Clearly disappointed and will no longer trust my puppy in their care.
This is the best store! Thanks to all these very special employees that have taken such great care of us over the years!
Was in to have my dog groomed. The usual groomer I use, Juana, always does a great job. Sure hate to see the prices going up though.
Usually we have a great experience with this location, but the last time was a complete let down.
The Vital Care discount wasn't applied correctly so we had to drive back to the store again to get it fixed. When my roommate went to go get the refund she encountered one rude employee that proceeded to tell her she needed to try harder and be more aware of store policy or take it up with customer care. Even though CC advised her to return to the store as each has their own policy. The Vital Care discount not being applied was in no way her fault, seeing as she wasn't the one paying for it, I was, and I told my cashier that we'd be using her Vital Care account and give him the necessary information, only to be charged full price anyway.
To make matters worse, our dog seems to have been injured during his grooming session. His paws were swollen and so sensitive when we got home that whenever he put weight on them the wrong way or stubbed them he would literally scream. He's a Shiba, but these were way worse than his usual screams, the last time I heard him yell like this was when he fell on his face from the sofa as a puppy. He's been limping since Friday we had to call a new vet for advice since it seems we likely won't be taking him here for anymore services.
It's sort of nauseating in hindsight, because we were wondering why his appointment was over so quickly and even joked about it with another associate before leaving the store. Also, looking at other reviews, it seems like other have had issues with Eric G poorly trimming their dogs nails too. I feel so let down by this experience, will definitely read more of the reviews next time, not just recent ones.
Store located in nice shopping center. Store low on stock - probably CoVid related - plus a supply truck had just arrived. Staff friendly and knew where merchandize located.
The young man who checked me out was so polite and friendly! I wish I knew his name. I'm sorry, I failed to get it.
I was very impressed with Petco in Las Colinas. The sales associates we're very helpful and very nice. They also had every product that I was looking for and it was a very clean store I was really impressed I will be going back to that store to get all of my pet supplies!
I love going to this lil store to get treats for my fur baby. This is also a great place for grooming. My fur baby hates getting her nails clipped, but Brittany was so gentle with her! She made the task look effortless. Thanks Brittany!:)
Petco is convenient to my Tom Thumb store and to my home location, and Petco has all the pet related items I need. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. I will continue to shop at Petco for future pet needs. Thanks!

Staff were nice and the kittens were very cute and well taken care of. It is a bit pricy but I don't mind if it's for my fur babies
Please dont have your pet groomed here. They mass take appointments and dont have enough staff to fill the appts. Trust me, find a groomer that isn't from a franchise! IF you care about your pet!
