Petco, Missouri City TX

This Petco has knowledgeable, friendly and seriously helpful employees! I have Alzheimer's & pain diseases giving me 50/10 pain levels involving my hands so I can't easily use websites or store apps. They were so nice & knew a lot about dog foods & their ingredients! One employee offered to research to help with my two Chihuahuas' digestive issues! That's a guaranteed 5 Star review any day! The store itself is very clean, neat and organized! I've never found bugs in the food or in the store. I highly recommend this store if you need any pet supplies! They can put what you need on order to ship on your schedule while you're checking out at the cash register. You can also use their app to order things and then pick things up at their curb.
I've never gotten any pet products that were expired, rancid or spoiled like I have from both Chewy and Amazon because they don't maintain the products at the right temperature. It's true! I got a big bottle of dog vitamins from Chewy that were completely melted and it came from Florida where they said it was never hot enough to melt them! It's why they want to use robots at Amazon so they don't have to keep the warehouses at human temperatures. Anyway I highly recommend this temperature controlled human run store! Stopped by last week to pick up some things for our new addition and I found everything we needed and was out in no time. I recommend Petco for all your pet needs

This is really about stephanie the manager and not petco the store. I called to see what the return policy was and to also make the store manager aware that they have a product on the shelf that isnt what its advertised to be. I ordered a “Grain - free” dog food bc my dog is allergic to grain, coo. Get home my dog has been eating the food for a couple days now, i noticed my dog has a rash so my first instinct was to read the actual ingredients of the dog food, and it has a grain ingredient. On the phone w stephanie i made her aware that the dog food states that its “grain free” but if you read closely to the ingredients its not. Stephanie not once asked what was the brand etc to do her own research to possibly remove that product from her shelf and not harm anyone else pet. She didnt seem to care about the matter at all.

The staff is extremely professional and nice with great communication. If you want a place that will take great care of your dog and keep you at ease then this is the place for you!

I've very happy with Petco. Although they're not as big as some other stores, they're very close to home and have quality products for our dogs. I'd be very unhappy if they weren't there for us.

First time going to this petco store. My dog was fluffy Maltipoo. After grooming he looks so weird. His hands and legs are completely shaved and looks like a bully sticks. He never looks this weird after grooming from other places. I’m so sad looking at him

Great groomers! Although there was only one groomer working the day of my visit, I was able to get assisted. The groomer communicated with me to provide times and updates on my dog's session. I gave the groomer a poor description on what haircut I wanted for my dog, and she was able to make my dog look great. MY dog also hates taking showers and cutting the hair from his legs, but the groomer was able to cut the hair even in those hard spots.

Gotten better with new management, like a lot better. Really happy with how the store looks except the animals. Animals don't look too good. Fish are constantly sick and habitats need to be cleaned better.

Sales associates were helpful and friendly. Best of all, they do price match but I wish they'd offer the lower price automatically to match their own online sales. You must show the app or online price to get it.

Today I took my labradoodle for a hair cut for the first time to any PETCO store, I was afraid because usually at any other “fancy” grooming shop they cut her hair in such a weird way that she doesn’t look like a labradoodle, but at this petco the hairstylist (Finn) was just THE BEST! He listened to what we wanted for our dog and delivered exactly that! Thanks FINN!

Great staffs. I have multitude of interaction with the staffs here. They are very caring and knowledgeable above the rest. Easy to approach and great place to start out for new fur babies parent as well as fish keeping hobbyist

Had my dog Samantha bathed. They did a very nice job. Cleaned her ears, expressed her glands, trimmed her nails. She was happy and feels like a million bucks!

Greeted by friendly staff member upon entering. Immediately found exactly what I needed. Staff member at cash register was extremely nice.

Always have the girls foods in stock! They have become addicted to Whole-Hearted thanks to a helpful associate. And we love that they have gone less additives in everything they carry.

I'm so upset! Today I had a appointment for my dog Joypain. I was on time I set there for 15 min when the groomer and the manager came out the manager asked if I had a appointment I said yes for Joy pain she tells me they tried to call and text. I had my phone on me because I was cleaning up listen to Pandora nothing came through I also checked my email nothing came through I was told that the groomer hhad broke his wrist. The last time I made a appointment it was the same excuse if my was to hard they should said so not Lie

Clean store, helpful staff, wish fish woildnt habe been sick with ick because i was looking to buy that visit. But overall pretty good place to shop.

This has to be the cleanest Petco I have been to in a long while. The items were easy to find and the staff was friendly and knowledgeable. I have a Petco closer to home and one acrossfrom where I work, but may actually go out of my way to go to this one. With all the crazy in today's world it was just nice to have a friendly environment to shop.

Never again! I took my 6 month old puppy for a grooming. The person called me after about 3 hours of leaving my puppy there for grooming saying she had a bad news that she is not able to complete the grooming because the puppy bit her and it’s their policy that they cannot proceed with the grooming. I have told the lady in the beginning that this is her first time for haircut. I ended up picking up my dog half way groomed and of course looking “goofy”. I thought the staff are trained to handle the dogs with anxiety. I was not charged for the session but my dog is terrified with this experience and now I have to find a person right away to groom her to look “normal”. Never again!

This is a smaller location that most others, but has all of the basic needs and more. Most staff is friendly and helpful and bathrooms are clean.
