15 This is not a good place to go
I asked for help six times I tried to get help, fish aquarium equipment and also buy, fishes the young girl that works there said she was going to help me she never came over I asked again she never came all I know is she was standing there with her green hair talking to the young people that was not going to buy anything just there to look and talk to her this has got to be the one the worst Petco stores I ever been there no one around to help they need older people in Petco because the young staff that's on the floor helping whenever you can find one that will help you are no good
This is the worst pet shop ever, the staff always seems bothered. They are never knowledgeable, and I took my mini poodle to get her nails clipped. Before they started I went over to the glass area to watch and the lady told me not to watch she didn't like it to go some where else. EXCUSE YOU! HELL NO, RED FLAG! She gave me I wanna be abusive and aggressive to your dog vibes so I said hell no grabbed my dog and never again went back! Worst pet place ever
Yet again I go here to get fish and crickets I ask for 25 and I get 15 and the bag was horribly wrapped both times worrying that I was gonna get water everywhere in this my car. And it's the same dude. Not coming back so ridiculous.
Online says they close at 9pm went all the way over and they were closed by 8pm and close at 7pm on Wednesdays and fridays need to update hours online
Little pricey in some areas and the store always looks like they didn't have time to stock the shelves. Feels like a Mom and Pop more then a chain so I like that feeling. Good variety of stuff too
I first came here because my only day off was a holiday and they were the only place open. But i was fortunate then to find a groomer that did a great job and accounted for all my notes the first time and did everything just right. I've had bad luck with past groomers, so despite this location being across town from me I still take my King Charles cavalier here to be groomed by Clarisse, she does a really great job.
Very helpful employees everytime I go to this one but the only thing I would say is they need more employees because there's always a new 10 to 25 minute wait to be helped & sometimes I'm in a rush and don't appreciate the wait when I'm the only customer for 10 minutes at least waiting at time's
I didn't see what I needed in the store so I asked the clerk and she was gracious enough to look for it in the back. She found one and surprisingly was the right size for a large dog. I appreciated her extra step, thank you.
I brought my dog in for a grooming appointment with Amy H and she was absolutely amazing. She did in amazing job and I will definitely go to her again! She was very fast as well. Definitely my favorite groomer I have found!
Multiple deceased Betta fish, majority of animals there seem neglected. The Green conures look underweight and don’t have the right feed in their cages. The goldfish look terrible, the young baby kois have bacterial infections and ammonia burns. Hard to see the saltwater fish due to the lack of care of their displays. Most fish are infected with ick. I spotted their Black skirt tetras with this infection as well as the Buenos Aires Tetras.
Animals are in poor condition and care.
Was doing curbside on my lunch hour didn't look very busy at all had to call the guy told me he'd be out in a minute 5 minutes later still nobody had to call again
Didn't like my experience at all cashier was too worried about other things instead of helping us out not a good experience won't be going back
They won't sell u fish if yur tanks not big enough. They tell us not to use the water in the bag because their water can hav parasites or diseases. What do u think?
So the store itself is absolutely fine. They have a great selection of animals and products, the store is clean and well kept, etc. The customer service however isn't the best. I've been in here a lot the past 1-2 months setting up an aquarium. I'm in probably 1-2 times a week. It is now a repeat problem that I cannot find a single employee ANYWHERE. I have waited up at the front in line for 10+ minutes before someone comes up front. I have walked the entire store trying to find someone to help me and cannot find anyone. This is a REAL problem. I spoke with the shift manager about it a few visits ago and she apologized and said I wasn't the only one to bring it up and that they had been having problems with that and she would pass it on to the GM. I was in yesterday, and once again, waited and waited in line while my husband walked the store to find someone. Not a SINGLE EMPLOYEE on the floor. He finally just called the store to get someone up front to help us. Come to find out, every employee working that shift was in their little employee room just hanging out. When someone finally came out, I asked to speak to a manager to once again let them know I can't find anyone to help. When I finally got to speak to the manager on shift, I believe it was Chris? He said "oh, well we were all on break". I asked why all employees were on break at the same time when you have a store full of customers needing help (I wasn't the only one). His response was "well she is on a lunch break, she was just about to come back from a lunch break, and I was sitting down for a 15 minute break. " I understand employees get breaks, but maybe don't take them all at the same time? I again asked why all 3 employees were on break at the same time and he couldn't even really answer me. He just kept making excuses. I've struggled with this same problem over and over. Have your employees watch the front better and be available on the floor. I have spent hundreds of dollars at this store, and I'm honestly ready to just start going to PetSmart. It's incredibly frustrating that my visits here take SO LONG because I can't just find an employee to help me!
