14My girlfriend took our dog to get groomed. We have gone in the past and never had issues. We waited for hours, went back, the employee didn’t even clean him. He smelled worse than before, was wet, and she told us when we got there “I couldn’t cut your dogs hair”. Do not come here for grooming anymore. I don’t know what changed in the last few months but their groomers are getting more complaints than ever and we are adding to that with our experience.
The Petco employees are always very helpful and courteous. The pet grooming service is excellent.
Ok stock, but the service is pathetic. Not a single one of the 7 staff members we saw asked if we needed help. All were too busy chatting with each other.
All of the pre packaged crickets were dead and we couldn't get help to bag up any of the others.
Grooming absolutely a joke. My son brought in his dog. He got a bath and a call he was too shaky for a haircut BUT still made him pay of 50 dollars! He's been to other groomers no issue. Guess we know why you had openings. What a rip off!
Edit: I was able to shave him when he brought him to my house. If I can do it there is no reason a "professional" can't. And no the dog Spot doesn't know me that well to test me more than a groomer.
I do not recommend this grooming location. They do not care about going above and beyond. I drove 45 minutes to this location and because I was early I was rudely to “I cannot take your dog”. Not even a hello. I asked what do they do when people have to work and was told that people can drop off their dog before work…well what is the difference. I was told no one could watch my dog while he waited in the kennel although it looked like several people were just sitting around. I’ll take my business elsewhere, this was just an extremely frustrating experience where somebody could have stepped up to make the customer experience a little easier and better.
I always find what I need for my baby, the employees are super friendly and the store is very organized and clean.
Grooming Stylist, Erin is very professional and friendly. I like the personal care she gives to Sassy. Petco Grooming comes highly recommended.
Not only did they give my dog cuts from grooming, the employees proceeded to lie telling me it was probably just a rash.extremely bad service my pup hasn’t been able to use the restroom or rest since he has burns all over his bottom area.will never come back again and im extremely disappointed.
I am utterly disappointed with the service I received from this grooming store. Today, I booked an appointment online for my beloved cocker spaniel. However, within minutes of booking, I received a text notifying me that my appointment was canceled. Perplexed, I immediately called the store to inquire about the abrupt cancellation.
To my dismay, I was directed to Nicole, the store manager. Nicole proceeded to inform me that my pets had been referred out of their system due to apparent notes claiming that they are aggressive and "ungroomable" due to biting issues. I was taken aback, as these claims were entirely false and baseless.
When I pressed Nicole to identify who had left these notes, her responses were inconsistent and questionable. Initially, she attributed it to a former groomer who was no longer with the store. I found it baffling that the store would permit a departed employee to leave such a damaging remark without notifying pet owners like myself. As I questioned this, Nicole abruptly changed her story, now blaming someone else entirely, possibly the grooming manager named Mandy. Despite my persistence, she adamantly refused to provide more information or even the corporate contact details I requested. Nicole even refused to provide her last name.
Nicole's demeanor throughout this exchange was shockingly rude and unprofessional. It's disheartening to think that Petco, a brand I have trusted for years, would allow someone like her to manage one of their stores. As loyal customers who have consistently brought our pets to this location, even being members of the vital care plan, we are appalled by the treatment we received.
I am left deeply disappointed by this entire ordeal. The lack of transparency, unprofessionalism, and the dismissive attitude displayed by the store manager have shattered the trust and loyalty we once had. I implore the corporate office to address this matter promptly. Our pets deserve better, and we, as customers, deserve to be treated with respect and honesty. This experience has been nothing short of a nightmare, and it's truly disheartening to witness such a decline in the quality of service we once cherished.
The store in Mansfield off Cooper and 157 has a great staff excellent customer service and they all go above and beyond for their customers while taking care of the business I highly recommend this store from fish to small animals they are very educated on their jobs great job
Petco is way overpriced the best dog groomer is Leif, my pug won't let anyone trim his nails except for him, I groom him at home now because I enjoy it but Leif has done it before and we have no complains, the kids get paid minimum wage so after the service you're satisfied give him a tip. I purchase my dogs food there it's a bit steep but I wouldn't serve my own children nasty processed food why would I feed it to my pet? Thank you Leif you are the best Kingsley sends greetings.
I didn't have to wait for more than a couple of minutes to pick up my order. The whole process from ordering to pick up was hassle free and speedy. It is not the same as shopping in the store and interacting with the employees, but it will do for now.
My dog did not get the toenail trimming and was shedding as soon as she got to the car, not the case with old groomer who left
Just took my pup in for a grooming. They did a great job of brushing out her undercoat and making her smell good and trimming her nails. The process of dropping her off and picking her up was super easy. My only problem is the manager is a Chicago Bears fan. But I'll let it slide.
