18Brought my Husky in got some premium food for his breed. He picked out a bone treat he liked. Got home open the bag smelled fresh no problems with quality.
Soulless store, no passion for the animals they sale. They expect you to spend money without seeing if the animal will take to you or not.
Great products at a fair price with good sales and knowledgeable people to assist. Clean store, nice place to spend a little time.
Always helpful, even if I came in for a bag of dog food or killing time looking at lizards everyone is always friendly
Only getting a 5 because the people are always nice and try to always be helpful. Otherwise it would be low due to not always having things in stock.
Unacceptable for employees to be eating and drinking on the job. This photo is an employee eating and drinking while showing me products. Zero greeting when I entered, and there were five employees at the counter chatting away while customers begged for help and phones rang. This place has potential they just don't have the right employees to expand on that potential.
Got to Petco found what was needing for a fish. Not any employee around. Walked around all fish reptile area not one employee. Waiting 25 mins and still no one to show up. Worst Petco I have been to.
I have to applaud this for customer service is above and beyond. They are always very helpful. The store is very clean and very well stocked.
I have a mini Aussie and she's a PUPPY! I had this last groomer that if I don't work on Zoey or bring her to training! They will not accept her for any grooming I have taken her to other places and they say she's very good puppy and she's doing well. They tell me when I say what your goommer said to me! They said she's a puppy but she is doing great for a puppy when being groomed. I'm not sure if I will be back! I will just wait and see if your grooming place is for us.
$. 10/per bag, “to help save our planet”…BS! Several other companies have tried this tactic to generate another income stream that they think no one will notice. Many of these companies have been subjected to class action lawsuits because of this tactic. They charge a tiny bit extra for costs of doing business that are already factored into their prices for merchandise. It’s shady and in most cases illegal. Petco is about to discover what many other corporations are learning. “Go Woke, Go Broke! ”
I was talked into signing up for the petco vital care rewards program for the convenience of same day delivery. I placed an order at 1 pm today and it was never delivered. I was told by customer service that they don’t know why it wasn’t delivered but that I would have to wait until after 4 pm the next day for delivery. What a joke! 100% lied to me about the benefits of the program just to get an extra dollar.
I have been bringing my Australian Shepard, Elsa, for grooming for about a year. It has been difficult to find a groomer that is patient with her because she is deaf and blind. There was a serious incident in November 2022 that was handled openly, and professionally by the manager of grooming at that time. The groomer, Rain, was angry about something that happened in the salon and took it out on Elsa. When I brought Elsa to her appointment for a bath on May 13th, the groomer acted angry and put out that I had brought her. I thought at first I had the wrong day or time and confirmed that I was there at the right time with the groomer. The groomer justified her reaction by saying she thought I was not bringing Elsa due to the rain. I'm still not sure what the deal was, but I have cancelled any future appointments. Due to the incident in November 2022, I cannot risk a groomer's anger or frustration to be taken out on my dog. I don't know if a store manager or district manager reads these reviews, but I think it would benefit the store to make sure immature associates are not hired in the future.
Nothing to mention they don't carry all the brands I want. I got to check out and of course there's nobody up there and then they're now charging 10 cents per plastic bag. I'll now drive further and just go to PetSmart. A bag is part of customer service and you're not saving money by charging because my 9 pets and business is going elsewhere.
Always love seeing this place the animals inside. It's a lot cheaper than going to the Amarillo zoo
They never answer the phone, horrible place to work at, general manager doesnt know how to run a store. I feel very sorry for the employees for being forced to sign people up or they get fired. Its so stupid!
This place groomed our golden doodle and didn't properly clean his ears. They did not take out the hair out nothing, not even the wax. We took him to another grooming place and they removed it. This morning we had to take our dog to the vet because he was whining and whimpering. Turns out he had a STAPH INFECTION! Please! For gods sake do not take your pets here to be groomed. Our poor baby has to suffer in all this pain because these people didn't do their job. I don't know how this place hasn't been sued yet. I imagine how many other dogs they've done this to. Please if you have taken your poodle here go get them into another groomer and take them to the vet to check for an ear infection. I am infuriated and upset at what they did to my baby boy. We will NOT be coming to this place ever again. Do better.
Petco had the supplies we needed verses Pet Smart. Easy access, fast service, and reasonable prices.
Great selection of everything for all kinds of pets. Staff is quite knowledgeable from what I can tell. The prices are a little high. Would not have my fur kids groomed there!
