Pete's Tako House reviews
38Great food, good prices, waitress was very friendly, but this place is always busy and always crowded. Call ahead and plan to pay for parking.
Great breakfast! The tortillas are thick and cooked well. My pet peeve is under cooked tortillas but theirs did not disappoint. All the tacos had outstanding flavor! We had chicharrón, machacado, chorizó and egg, and migas tacos. Service was good. Portions were good. They even got me a coffee to go. Highly recommend this place.
Great tacos! I stopped in for the first time for a couple tacos to go (asada and pastor) and they were the bomb! Filled to the brim with tasty meats, it was fantastic. I'll definitely go again.
Food is delicious and service was great! We arrived at 8 am on Wednesday morning and was seated immediately. Both hostess and server was positive and smiley. We ordered the puffy tacos, street tacos and tortilla soup. Everything tasted great and overall experience was pleasant.
Definitely recommend!
Omg what is not to love this place is so good an fulfilling anyone who hasn’t ate here must it’s is really good
Best authentic Mexican food I've ever had! Loved their margaritas as well and the service was awesome!
First time here it was recommended by some coworker of mine. Ordered the Mexican plate and it was a horrible experience. The enchiladas were very disappointing, the tortillas were hard and cheese tasted weird and the picadillo to my crispy taco was under cooked, the meat was still red inside. I was so sick afterwards. I will definitely never return! I do not recommend this place.
Tortillas are awesome but the carne guisada an Asada lacked flavor. And kinda pricey for tacos IMO.
I've always had a great meal here. Their fideo loco is awesome. Both corn and flour tortillas are fresh. The staff is amazing. One of the hidden gems near downtown.
I had good fideo. Service is prompt and prices are reasonable. I hope to go back and try other dishes.
One of my favorite lunch spots. My favorite thing to order is the Mexican burger. It brings back memories and tastes just like the burgers I'd get from la plaza. Minus one star because the seating arrangement is bad.
Everything was so fresh, so hot and tasty too! Hands down my favorite mexican food place from now on!
This place is the bomb. Off the main drag true authentic quality Mex food. A must go to in San Antonio.
First time going. My chorizo and egg taco was good but my weenie and egg taco was so greasy I couldn't eat it. Tortillas were thick but lacked taste. Service was good and price was reasonable for the big tacos.
One word to explain the Food is HOME! There food was amazing taste just like grandma's cooking. Love it, recommend it to everyone.
Opens at 5 a.m. Fast service, picadillo, carne guisada and bean and cheese are delicious. Metered parking so bring change.
Absolute favorite Mexican restaurant! Their enchilada plate is to die for! I haven't found any other enchiladas I like in all of San Antonio!
The best Tex Mex we have had in Texas so far. Just absolutely delicious. Ate so fast I got indigestion.
Everything we ordered was delicious, their tortillas are on top of my list. So very close to my moms meals. Yummy.
This food was so yummy. I was actually walking to another place when I saw the waitress come out with menus and noticed it was a restaurant. It was really hot outside so I went ahead and ate there. I guess God sometimes sends you a sign because the place was so good. I ordered a half order of nachos and two potato egg and cheese tacos to go. Very nice atmosphere and yummy food equals a happy girl. I definitely will be coming here again when I am back in San Antonio.
