Don’t even think they deserve a star. Went in to buy fish. Had to wait 30 minutes for a worker then 2 workers said I needed a mask (I have severe asthma and am unable to wear one) but they still said they would sell to me. The lady asked which fish I wanted and before I could finish asked what kind of tank it was because not all fish are compatible. I told her I have had these kind of fish together for years and she just rolled her eyes. Told me to stand back while she got the fish, then wouldn’t even hand me the bag. Just left it laying on the cart and walked away. 2 other customers told me they were unhappy with them.

I hadn't had a cat in several years. A stray wandered up and I needed supplies. I stopped by PetsMart to pick up a few items. I found much more than that on which I had planned. Great Selection! Friendly associats.

This store is not a good store what so ever I was next in line for fish and was told after them your next.them were done and was my turn and she walked right by me like I didn't exist.pet smart is seriously understaffed and not professional at all

I've never had problems with this Petsmart location, and in all honesty I prefer *this* location above all in the area due to their nice selection of fish and the lack of smells. So I've glady driven out of town to come to this store to spend my money on animals and supplies. However, I think its safe to say I'm done with the San Marcos location due to the awful customer service by one specific employee. I've heard she was a manager, but I will be honest and say I do not know if she is or isn't a manager, but I do know she's checked me out as a cashier and has also serviced my fiancé and myself while purchasing fish and while doing both duties, I've had first hand rude experiences with her. I have also overheard her speaking to other customers in the aisles and also with fish, and at least we weren't the only ones she has smart-mouthed, so I know its nothing personal.
I get it, you know your job and take pride in it.we need people who actually love animals and take pride in selling them to work at pet shops, no doubt. But must you speak to me like I'm five?
Last time I checked my ID, I'm years above the legal age. I do not need someone to initiate arguments, speak so rude, and raise their voice to me over something so simple. Again I'm glad someone is looking out for animals well being, but there are proper and professional ways to get messages across rather than speaking to customers like children. And if something is not "right" or not agreed with, by all means, tell me.don't bark at me or speak to me like I'm a child. I really hope she is not a manager because that would be sad, in my personal opinion. I'll drive to the location at The Forum if anything, at least everyone is friendly and respectful.

I always enjoy shopping PetSmart. Bought a nice doggy bed and crate and lots of wonderful toys. Haven't been won over on the huge assortment of pet food or the price. Pet food ranges from atrocious to high quality. Always give the best food possible to your pets because they're family!

If I could give 0 stars I would. On multiple occasions I’ve went between 3-7 like the sign says for the cats and every time there’s been no one there. What’s the point of having hours if you’re not gonna have the people there to do it. Very disappointed and won’t be returning or giving them any of business.

Everything you would expect an average pet store to have. Wish it had a better selection of dog grooming supplies, and wall mounted cat shelves.

When I go there and I've been for a little while somebody always comes in ask me if I need any help. Yes. Now that I'm done moseying around. Then I get directed to exactly what I need so I can get on home. These employees really care about helping us find what we want or need

After my English bulldog was cleared from vet I stopped in groomers to see about their $20 wash and nail trimming. There was 2 girls sitting in there with no dogs and doing nothing. I asked about the special she stated it’s for puppies and I told her my baby was 6 months old. She then stated it’s stops at 5 months. So I asked about prices for this service for my 6month old. She gave me prices then told me I have to book appt on line. So there was 2 girls getting paid for a service and had nothing to do and wasn’t willing to provide me with a service.

I love that they have expanded their cat care section, and that they try to keep a reliable stock of their supplies and food.

For some reason they have a hard time managing out of stocks. Mostly in aquarium accessories. Maybe a new process or even supplier needs to be considered. Otherwise good people, good products.

The pet adoption agency out front the day of our visit was horrific! I witnessed and recorded a child abusing an innocent pup. This is totally unacceptable and should not be ignored.

Clean store great customer service. As for the veterinarian place inside store not a good place. My dog had a seizure inside store was told I needed appointment to be seen. Unbelievable didn't care one bit. Shame on you PetSmart.
