PetSmart, Richmond TX

The place doesn't take care of their animals well enough. I have owned so many pets from rodents to fish. And I can honestly say a lot of the keep isn't what it's supposed to be.

Nice, clean and organized location.
The associates here are nice and very helpful. Prices here are definitely lower compared to other per stores.

David helped me with everything to my fish tank gave me loads of information about plants, fish compatibility and listened well and didn’t act hurried. Not often to do you find employees so interested and professional in what you have going on and go the extra step to make sure you feel appreciated. He’s awesome. Thanks bro!

I have just been into a PS store and am incredibly shocked and saddened to see that they keep Beta fish in containers no larger than a yogurt pot. Incredibly cruel. PS, you make enough profit from animals; the least you could do is treat them with respect and kindness.

I was surprised to see how this place has changed. The vet is gone, no one was at the groomers at least it was stocked well.

I called this store as an order I got through the app by DoorDash was missing a little boot as it was dog booties and whenever I called, RICHARD answered very rude……he stated angrily that there were only 2 employees and he can’t go look orders up refusing to let me talk or even explain my issue without saying “I have no idea what you just said or your question” and kept talking over me stating he ABSOLUTELY CANNOT help me cause he has a line of people…. Absolutely disrespectful…….

I mostly shop at this location for my puppy beside the sugarland location. All the previous visits, from the sale rep to the cashiers, they were all so nice and helpful until today the cashier at lane 2 was so rude that it’s unbelievable even my 15 yrs old nephew said that “how rude can she be”
She was totally ignored us when we got to the register even though I said “hi” then didn’t even help to bring us up. I had to walked to another register.
If she don’t like her job, simply look for something else to do, or if she has something going on, leave that at home. Customers don’t deserve that kind of treatment especially when we’re being nice and decent towards you.

They have all types of dog food brands even prescribed ones. The place is kept clean very nice store

This the best PetSmart in town. This location has the best employees. Also the best customer service.

Never take your dog to get groomed there. Took my goldendoodle for grooming received a call that they can’t continue. As I was there a lady tried to finish it of. Another Hispanic lady walked in and told her to stop doing that. Most traumatizing experience we ever had. Don’t wish that on anyone. I seriously don’t know what kind of cut they were doing to my dog!

Most Pet Stores were out of the crickets we needed for our pets but this PetSmart had plenty!

David was very helpful and friendly. David made small talk and asked about our pets which was nice. David also let us know this store is usually good about keeping their crickets in stock.

This store is pretty out of the way but I will be coming back more often because of the friendly staff and their ability to keep things in stock!

They are actually really good here. I've always been greeted friendly here and I don't believe I've ever had to wait long for anything. Nice place, recommend
