They said the service would take Four hours. I paid for the same service Twice, but only took two hours. I expected my dog to look cute with a cute bandana, but that didn’t happen. He was just bald and Presley the dog groomer never said I was double paying. I’m closing my account with PetSmart and I will purchase Chewy.

Was at PS in Waxahachie May 12, Friday. In the parking lot I heard a dog screaming. Upon entering the store, I saw a female groomer holding a small Gray dog on the grooming table by its left ear while she was attempting to groom. The dog was wiggling and trying to get away from her all while the rope or chain around its neck was tight and she held its poor lil ear up in the air, it’s front feet was at times off the table. A man and woman groomer stood right by her watching. I’m begging you to never ever take your dog there for grooming unless, you stay while they are groomed. I have reported this incident every where I can! I demand she be fired before I ever enter that store again. I just wish I would have gotten video. A groomer should know a dogs ears are extremely sensitive. Apparently they are not trained properly.

PetSmart insurance is a scam do not get it. It is not an insurance at all they don’t tell you this my dog passed and they say will still have to pay till I reach $1200 that yearly plan is worth or have to pay them $540 to close out what plan is worth. What a scam this never used to be like this.

This place is horrible I take my dogs here to get groomed and they always come home hurt it’s like they cut my dogs multiple times with the razor. Do better. Take accountability. What if it was your dog being mistreated?

Bought my son's bearded dragon at this location. Ace was a superb employee, answering all my questions and the young lady behind the counter was super kind. Definitely be back to get all my future beardie supplies.

This is my second and last visit to Petsmart Grooming in Waxahachie. I have a BernieDoodle, they have naturally long curly coats. On her first visit I asked that her coat be shaved close because she had some matting and that’s what was done. An appoint was made then a month later. Her coat had begun to grow out slightly and her curls were beginning to form again. I called to change her appointment and went over her services over the phone and told the rep I did not want her shaved again. When I dropped her off this morning, I said again I did not want her shaved just neatened up around her face and paws. One of the stylist took a look at her ears and said she would need to remove a “big chunk” because her hair was beginning to tangle again. I arrived to pick my dog up and she indeed had been shaved from ears to toe. No phone call was made gaining permission to do so after I’d stated TWICE I did not want her shaved. I said again that was not what I asked for and was told it was a long blade and it just removed the long pieces as if it wasn’t a big deal. Again not what I asked for, nor was it their decision to make after again…. I’d already said that wasn’t what I needed from them. Her signature coat was coming in nicely, now we are starting over again. I paid 112 + tax and my instructions were not followed. We will not be visiting PetSmart Grooming again. Very disappointed.

This PetSmart grooming is the worst! I have lived in Illinois - Texas and this store needs a new salon coordinator- she has no personality- isn’t friendly with the dogs and they over charge! They told me if my dog didn’t “stand on her own on the table “ the wouldn’t finish grooming her even tho I offered to pay extra for someone there to help, the salon coordinator said “ absolutely not “
Long story short the salon coordinator did a horrible job on her never again with PetSmart - I found a place on 377 in Keller called “PET PARLOR”OMG THEIR AMAZING AND WAS CHEAPER THAN PET SMART! Don’t get racked over the coals by PetSmart!

I wanted to order product for pickup in store but was told it wasn’t available at my store. I ordered something different and when I picked up, the store had the original product - 3! Had to spend more time standing in line to return and purchase original item wanted. Defeats using online shopping.

Good place. Lots of choices. The only food that they do not carry is the fresh pet food I was looking for. Since my dog is 15 yrs old and has a mouth tumor fresh pet is what we have been buying and he loves it.

Multiple things that weren’t to pleasant while I was shopping. Watched a kid drop a dead fish on the floor, I pointed it out to one of the workers and their response was it’s dead. The kid helping me dropped my bag of fish and just laughed hysterically, as water went every where. Not the best visit I have had here but very unprofessional.

Friendly. This visit was very good. Was greeted at the door with a smile by the cashier. Compared dog food to another store I use and prices were very comparable.

My dog Louie went to his grooming appointment 8/21/22 & came home injured. After going to the emergency room we discovered that he has a neck injury.
The groomers did not advise of any injuries or issues at the pick up of my dog, when called and asked if anything occurred while he was there they said No but dogs like Louie jump around. Louie had been going to them for almost 4 years receiving service and there was never a problem but this very time he is injured and I only want answers as to what happened so I can know how to properly save my dog. If they could run the cameras to let me know for sure what happened to him it would put my mind at ease but it seemed as though they did not care for my Louie nor do they want to help with my family finding a resolve to help my poor Louie who now cannot walk on his front leg at all. I don’t understand how a dog goes to the groomer just fine but leaves with a slipped disk and no one to at least advise of anything that happened.
Three months before this tragic day I would have gave them 5 stars but the lack of accountability brings me to give them the 1 star that I have to give in order to make this review.

This is a nice store. I was pleased when I moved down here from the DFW area to find everything I need at this store. I love love PetSmart and the 10 million animals they've helped save. When I did rescue years ago before they had even reached their first million and they let our rescue group come into a store on Saturdays. It was a game changer before that we set up in parking lots and did not have a lot of adoptions after PetSmart we could do so much more

The groomer, Presley, deliberately ignored my request for the cut I requested for my puppy. Unacceptable and not what I requested at all. Completely unsatisfied. I declined refund because a refund will not solve the issue. Hopefully more training and a course in people skills will.

My dog received service on 07/03 which was a day before a national holiday. I received a call prior to my services informing me that an earlier time slot was available. I advised the employee that I cannot come early because I had her services lined up with me being in the area for a birthday celebration. I bought my dog in and 30 minutes later I received a called stating that she was ready. They also stated that the store is closing early to put emphasis on me coming to get her right away because they were ready to go. I stated you're done in 30 minutes because I never experience such a quick grooming session. A second young lady called me within 5 minutes giving me the correct store hours and the timeframe to get her. As parents we didn't like the tone of rushing us to get her, so my husband left the party to pick her up to take her home then come back to the party which is out of the way. Unique is a puppy who is not ready to be at a kid's birthday party, so we didn't have the option to bring her to the party plus some kids had allergies. I had added $35 summer add on special add on in which I didn't receive the treat, bandana, nail trimming or $200 coupon book. My dog didn't even smell fresh, and her fur looked horrible. I went to the store the next Monday to get a refund and the female manager was so dry. She gave me a sorry apology and refunded my money. I was disappointed in the services from this store especially being in the Waxahachie area. I will never visit tis store and will only take her to the Duncanville store where the services are exceptional.

They gave my poor dog the worst haircut. Super choppy and uneven. Her breed has a beard and they chopped it all off. It’s terrible.
