I had the most wonderful experience adopting our sweet pup through them. Ashley and Yoko were some of the kindest and informative people I've ever come across. The store was so clean and the kennels were spotless. Can't thank PetSmart enough for helping us!
The first time I’ve ever been discriminated against based on my appearance. I walked into the store to buy two pet fishes for my nieces. A employee assisted me and stated for a goldfish I must have a filter. I told her I wasn’t sure if I had a filter or not because I was gifting the fish to my family who bought their own supplies. Once realizing it may not be the best option I swayed towards a Betta fish. I’m which once agian I was told I was not allowed to purchase without a filter. Confused because all the Betta fish at contained in cups I stated I would like to purchase. Approaching the counter Sara the cashier/ manager was highly unprofessional and stated I looked like I would kill my fish. She also threw my receipt at me while I was picking up my purse. When I requested the manager she stated she was the manager so I requested the hire up. Derrick. Derrick was unhelpful and didn’t care all he said was. “okay do you want your receipt” which I said no and left. I am highly offended and upset about the whole situation. And I also feel if no one will address the situation I will have to use my platform to spread awareness of the racial discrimination I’ve received. To make matters worse my I had my mother do the exact same steps I took in the Pet Smart in which she received perfect service and they told her she didn’t need a filter and Sara was extra nice to her. Of course they didn’t realize she was my mother because the color of her skin. It’s 2023 and I hope i will take a stance against the entire store if this matter is resolved.
Pets mart needs to work on their care of animals. I would never get another animal from pets mart. First I got a Guinea pig it had a ring worm on their eye come out a couple days later. It was from their care that’s why they took it back because it was still in the time frame of warranty. I decided to get my baby a puppy 3 days having her I needed to take her into urgent care and have her tested she had parvo. Maybe it’s just my bad luck picking the animals but it’s just crazy how it happened twice.
I am new to Texas and I’m working on a new groomer for my dog. I decided to try Petsmart. I had two previous grooms at a different location that didn’t go well. I was going to give that location one more shot and showed up discovering that I booked online at a different store. That Petsmart didn’t seem concerned and didn’t want to help me reschedule… So I consider it a God thing that I ended up at the Hulen store and with Nikki. My dog had a great experience. LARI is now my Groomer after 2 1/2 years of living here at the same locationI couldn’t be more pleased, additionally, the staff in the store and the grooming salon, everyone I encountered was so friendly and kind at the Hulen location.
I was just at this location in witnessed the worst employee etiquette. As I was being checked out an employee comes up to the cashier and begins talking bad about other customers and cussing in reference to them as I am standing there with my younger sister. It was rude and uncalled for. I Personally suggest not to come to this location.
It's our favorite Petsmart location. The staff is welcoming & friendly. The store is big, open, and full of fun products.
Their pet department is excellent I go there right now for their fish and aquarium equipment they know there fish and always seems to have a sale. On their products they have a very friendly staff
We were in and out fast today.
Chuck & Taylor were a very tempting duo that I almost had to take home with me even though I'd only come to pick up a small kiddie pool for my dogs.

Super nice. Very good stock. Decent prices for a major chain. And it seems that like most pet stores, only animal lovers work there.nThe cashier loved playing with my little puppy. (As if anyone would hate it, lol)
I like this place and its employees are kind and professional. My only issue are the prices but I understand it is a store front and has more bills than an online pet store. So If I can't wait for it to be delivered to me. I come here.
Horrible service had to find a worker to get fish out of the tank and then he had a additude because he had to do his job
The worst customer service I ever experienced, never coming back, I went after to Petco, and it was way more cheaper and the people were nicer.
