PGA TOUR Superstore reviews
13Staff was friendly enough, but apparently have no business working on golf clubs. Bought some limited edition golf pride grips online. Brought my clubs here to have them installed. 3 days later I call because I hadn't heard back and they tell me they were done and must have had the wrong number. I go pick them up and as I'm loading them up I notice the putter grip isn't square. Take it back in and the guy goes ahead and straightens it up for me. A few days later I take them out for the first time since the regripping. I realize that almost none of the grips are installed straight and are slightly twisted around the shaft. Then I go to use my hybrid. Start to take a slow practice swing, and at the top of the swing the shaft snaps like a twig a few inches up from the bottom of the grip. Call the place the next day and explain everything and they tell me it's unlikely the regripping would have caused the shaft to snap but to bring them back in and they'll take care of it. Take them back and drop them off. Notice a dent in the shaft of pitching wedge and tell them to go ahead and change that while they're at it. They call me later that day to tell me they don't have those grips in stock but they have the same in a slightly different pattern. A couple days later I go and pick up my clubs for the second time. Get them home and realize that the grips aren't just a different color. It's a whole different grip pattern. Then I'm checking out the shaft they installed on the pitching wedge and realize they didn't install a ferrule. I live a half hour away in good traffic and have made 2 trips there already for this. Now I'll probably have to make another to have a forgotten ferrule installed. To say their service has been disappointing would be an understatement.
Big golf course
There are many items, what you want to buy, you should find it here!
There are many trial rooms where you can measure your swing speed and hitting angle.
Had a gap wedge get wrecked by a hidden rock and brought it in. They couldn’t fix it but Jesse helped me find a replacement and worked with me to get the grip replaced and the whole situation taken care of. Was super kind and took care of me and multiple other customers with skill. Very thankful for the service.
First time visiting a PGA superstore since 2009, this store was okay, I guess. I miss the old golf galaxy in that same shopping center. It didn't have staff members that would hover over me when I was demoing a club in the sim. Like seriously, this one rep would rush over to check what I was doing each time I switched a club, like If I was gonna damage the clubs, or break something. I've been swinging a golf club since I could walk. I definitely wouldn't recommend coming in if you're new to the game.
This staff at this store is always top notch. I had the opportunity to work with and speak to Stephen, Greg and Jesse.
All three were very genuine, great to speak with, and really helped answer my questions as I got a set of irons adjusted.
This is always my go-to golf store in Austin.
Had to lean on the club builders to fix a ferrule on a club that I bought new, and they built for me. They initially wanted a full day turnaround. Had to argue more than I wanted to for action to be taken, then when the club was fixed, the shaft was installed logo up which is not how it was prior to that. Just incredibly frustrating.
Elite level service from the staff. Knowledgeable, pressure free advice on products. Joe Stephens, Director of the location is always first to help, he fitted me for my Driver and Woods. Above and beyond what to expect from a retail store. Highly Recommend.
Came in from out of town sole purpose to buy new clubs, high end clubs. However no one wanted to help me. Going elsewhere
I had a putter fitting today with Ken Bragg, he was awesome! I'm a brand new golfer and really had no idea what to buy. Ken didn't try to sell me the most expensive putter, instead really focused on what would be best for me. Whether your brand new like me, or an experienced golfer, Ken will get you set up right!
Very enjoyable experience, highly recommend.
5 visits so far to this loc over the past yr or so and excellent Level of Service.
The "older" gentleman gripped my new clubs and gave me some very useful tips = super awesome. Driver fitting by Ken - he is on point, period. Management: Nathan, Adam, Joe, Antonio, and more KNOW how to work with customers. Kindly pass along to Co.head or appropriate personnel that imo every single representative I have interacted with at this loc deserves a big pay bump and/or bonus, please!
Order a wedge from them online. In retro, I think I paid too much money for it. And it took forever to get here. Probably not order from them in near future.
I was visiting Austin and came to this store, and I can’t say enough about the crew here. Look for Jus at this store, the kid knows what he’s talking about and set me up with the right equipment.
Got my Odyssey putter grip replaced to a new one here and received excellent service.
Already killing it at the greens with this new awesome grip.
