Pho Em reviews
16The food was good as well as the service. If you’re looking for a place with good Pho, go here.
Ordered with GrubHub and the order was on time. The food is cold. Even the containers. It was taken from refrigerator and sent to me. The meat is brown, cold and appears to be leftovers. I threw it all away as I didn't want to risk food poisoning. $20 in the trash.
I love this place, my first time I went I was worn-out and down but the food and atmosphere made me feel safe, like nothing would keep me down.
I sat there enjoying the food for a good while taking my time and just enjoying the place
The pho is amazing and the broth was to die for.
Planning on going 2day with a friend and enjoy the place again.
I would give more stars if I could, and thank you to the people who work there for doing what yall do.
Their pho is the best in the area, in my opinion. Fried rice and the egg rolls are very good as well.
I dined it and the place seems to compact. I went to the woman’s restroom and it was filthy along with pots and pans and what not in the restroom. The kitchen area looks unsanitary and over all the pho is too salty and they do not put enough meat in the pho. It threw me off when my spouse asked for water and she took the styrofoam cup and went to refill it instead of just bringing him a new cup.the cooks and workers in the back weren’t using gloves as well over all I am disappointed especially with the ratings it received. Won’t be coming back
What a fantastic restaurant. The pho-licious is amazingly good. Filled me and party up. We both took some home for later with us for dinner.
After dining in for dinner yesterday eating the traditional pho, I immediately got stomach cramps and had to rush home to the restroom. Apparently it caused extreme diarrhea as I was in the restroom for over an hour. I also began vomiting afterwards and had really bad acid reflux. I didn't expect to have that type of reaction as it is supposed to be healthy. I will not be returning.
Poor customer service. Due to me needing accommodations as a wheelchair user, they openly judge our group based on my disability.
I ordered the grilled beef vermicelli. The beef was lil tough, like beef Jerry, the eggroll was alright. The sauce was decent. The spring rolls were good. They followed my instructions cause I am a pretty picky eater. The person at the register had to verify I was the person. Picking up the right, which is rare cause moat places just hand it to you without verification that you are the right person ordering the food. The place was tiny, only a few tables to sit at, but I wasn't eating there, so I guess its considered "quaint. " I would try this place again, other dishes to see if it's consistent.
Tried the traditional pho as take out. Absolutely delicious and a great price point. Thank you Phone Em for a wonderful dinner.:)
I absolutely love pho and I was craving it today. I decided to search for a spot near the area where I’m being treated for PT and I found Pho Em. After reading the reviews, I knew I had found my dinner spot. I walked in and made my way to the counter where a young man (cashier/server) was completing a sale with a patron. Once he was finished I asked him if it was okay to seat myself since I wanted to dine in. He politely answered that I was welcome to seat myself wherever I desired. I found a seat at a booth and he immediately brought a menu and happily asked me if I wanted something to drink. I requested a glass of water. When he returned I ordered 1 little Vietnamese egg roll which I thought would be accompanied by a lettuce leaf and a side sauce but it didn’t. The guy who came out with the egg roll was rather cold and nonchalant. No smile and no acknowledgment. I was pleased that my egg roll was freshly made and piping hot just like I like it. Not long after, a young lady came out with my pho which was also piping hot and so delicious. It hit the spot and I have more than enough left over for lunch tomorrow. I really want to give Pho Em 5 stars but here’s the issue I had…the young cashier was AMAZING and the young lady that served my pho was polite and wore a smile. However, there was a woman whom I presume was the owner/manager who came out several times and sat in the restaurant. I could see her glance at me several times from my peripheral vision and not once did she bother addressing me. During the entire time I was in the restaurant, besides me, there was a gentleman who came in, ordered, ate and left. I grew up in a business that my parents purchased when we came to the U. S.and I KNOW the importance of quality customer service. I am currently a business owner and I know that your patrons are your bread and butter. It costs nothing to say “hello” or “good evening” or even “thank you for your business” it all goes a long way. This woman had ample time to make contact with me and build a positive rapport but she failed to do so. It’s unfortunate that she didn’t cease the moment with a kind gesture. It makes sense that the gentleman who came out with my egg roll had a similar demeanor… lead by example. As delicious as the food was, unfortunately I don’t think I’ll be returning to Pho Em. I have certain standards and expectations for the way that I’m treated especially when I’m spending my money at an establishment.
Awful experience I ordered DD showed up when it said the done time still had to wait 40 mins for my food that was cold anyway service horrible
Delicious: I’ve eaten the Korean bbq ribs. They are flat cooked and seasoned perfectly and amazing. The Em’possible orange chicken is bomb. Their fried rice is the best. Sizzling tofu was very tasty. This is my go to spot for sure!
Best tasting Pho that I’ve ever had. I’ve eaten Pho all over Houston and different parts of the country as well. The only complain that I have is that there’s only one size for the Pho. I strongly recommend this restaurant.
This place is amazing. The freshest and most authentic flavor. No MSG or iceberg lettuce just good food. The only thing that could be better is if they had boba
The pho is absolutely delicious along with the shrimp poboy are one of my all time favorites its honestly one of the best places to eat in Baytown they also have vegan options as well
