Pho Life, Corpus Christi TX

I took my family (two adults, three older kids and two little kids) here tonight and it was amazing! The food was so good and the waiter was one of the best I have ever had. We had pho, ramen and one of the new dinner options and some appetizers. It all came out very fresh and hot. I can not recommend this restaurant enough. They even had little bowls for the little kids. Very family friendly. We will be returning again and again! Thank you for making tonight wonderful!

Excited to try this place. Man at the door said no tables avails but took our number and said he would call when a table opened up. We waited 10-15 minutes and then saw 3 people walk in and not come. We never received a call. Terrible service.

First time ever going today. Firstly, me and my girlfriend enter and we are instantly greeted by the most polite and caring server I’ve ever experienced. He was extremely attentive and I feel terrible that I forgot his name. Secondly, the food was incredible. Portions are massive, everything had fantastic flavor, further everything tasted so clean and fresh. It was also very nice that they had plenty of vegan options as well.

To the table who sat behind us and thought it was funny to mock the woman who greeted them due to her accent, you’re disgusting. This is obviously a family owned business and right away you can feel how much they care about the food, the service, everything. Let it be known that you all at Pho Life have a reoccurring customer from here on out. I will personally find anyone and everyone I can to come try you guys out. Please keep up the great work. I look forward to coming again!

I was iffy about trying this place at first from all the reviews about bad service, little food, & all around not a good experience but I was pulling into corpus & this was the closest pho place to my location but I’m glad I ended up here.
The service was absolutely phenomenal! Servers were extremely attentive, ensured we liked our food, & brought everything out quickly.
The bowls of pho are huge as well & delicious. Would definitely come again!

Great little place. The staff was very attentive and friendly. The food was fresh and flavorful. We had spring rolls which were delicious. Also ramen and pho soup. The broths in each were amazing! They also have a drive up window to pick up take out. Definitely a hidden gem!

You have to try this place! The food is authentic and beyond delicious The customer service is what service should be like and very affordable!

In my opinion this is the best Pho you can find in Corpus Christi. My order will always remain the same, a brisket pho with a Thai tea and steamed dumplings and it’s heaven on earth for the 20 minutes the food is in front of me for before being inhaled.
The atmosphere is quiet and although the inside is a bit small, I didn’t feel crowded or uncomfortable for one second. The staff is super friendly and the service is fast.
Please don’t take it from me though, go try it for yourself!

Our waiter was grouchy and I’ve had better pho. Now I’m sick in my stomach and I do believe it gave me food poisoning. Definitely not a place to go bank to ever again.

This place has excellent vietnamese food it's not golden corral no greasy food here portion are very good plus excellent service always a good experience.

EXTREMELY RUDE service from the cashier/owner!
The server messed up our order and put the extra fried egg on the wrong order. The fried egg was supposed to go on a rice dish which they somehow forgot to put in that order. When we finally got our rice dish, the fried egg that was on the wrong order was so cold so my son couldn't eat it. I mean would you eat a cold fried egg? The server brought us out a fresh, fried egg. When the bill came, they charged us twice for the fried eggs. When we asked about it, the owner made snide remarks to the server about us. We spent over $50 and they make a big deal over $1.50? ! We were going to pay it until we heard the owner/cashier saying such rude, inappropriate comments. We paid for an order that was not what we ordered. She should be lucky we didn't refuse to pay! She's also lucky that the mixed up didn't happen to one of my child who has eggs allergies else we ain't paying.
As for the food, imitated Vietnamese food. The rice, vermicelli, phở, and ramen were meh. The ramen is seriously the instant Mama Brand ramen. It's about 59 cents a bag at the grocery stores.
As we were walking out, they told a family who were walking in that they have to go outside the restaurant to order. That customer and I had eye contact and we were shocked what was said. It was so rude and strange!
First dine-in since covid hit March of last year. We were so excited to try this place out. This ruin it for us.

It was ok all in all. The Pho was mediocre. Not really much when it comes to the flavor. I'm not sure if they make their broth from scratch or pre-made, but it didn't have what I'm used to when it comes to the flavor of Pho. It seemed to be very nice homely small restaurant. You could see in the kitchen and it looked clean. The dining room area was fairly clean. The staff lady was very polite. All in all was nice.

I go here almost everyday since I only have a short lunch and I go to the beauty school next door, but the food is always consistently great and fast. I love this place a lot

Thought they would be friendlier especially since I said it was my first time there. Waitress seemed bothered, very unprofessional to curse and talk smack about other customers considering how quiet it was in the restaurant and we were the only people there. Made the overall experience uncomfortable almost considered leaving.
Food was ok but not enough for me to go back.

Delicious pho! Got the number 9 combo pho noodle soup. Clear and flavorful broth, the way it should be. Workers were pleasant. Definitely coming here for all my future pho cravings. I also got the Thai beef salad app - also lots of flavor! My husband got the short ribs which he loved (he didn't finish because he wasn't hungry since he ate not too long ago, so he took it to go). I've had the short ribs before as well, and I agree they're delicious. It has "wok hay. "

Great place, great food. Best pho in town. The only down fall is the early closing of inside. Over heard the waitress saying she didnt want anymore tables inside, so she closed the inside dinning at 5pm when they close at 7.wierd. Food was amazing tho

One of the few places in town that do a vegetarian Pho with veggie broth. Most veggie pho in town still use bone broth with their veggie pho which defeats the purpose. They also have amazing garlic edamame which is one of my favorites. The drive through window is also a perk during the pandemic as you never have to step foot inside if you don’t want to.

Absolutely amazing and savory food. The intimate setting is awesome. I lobe how the chef came out and asked how we liked it. First time and will definitely start to come more often.

This place always has the best Pho. It's sad how this year has affected so many small businesses. I hope Pho Life can survive. I will always go there for my pho.

I would love to order food from yall but it seems impossible to get through on the phone. All I want is a simple pick up order but I can't even make the Order. Just this time alone I attempted to call 8 times. And I refuse to shell out for twice the price to use Grubhub. A $26 dollar order turns into about $47. Its a darn shame because yall make good food.

My only complaints are that the portions are too much, egg rolls are way to hot, Short ribs are too yummy. Spring rolls are way too big. Hahaha. I normally order #32 but seeing as its a tad bit warm outside I went for the Bun, best choice ever. The owner is so lovely and sweet and cooks very well. If you want some yummy Vietnamese food, visit this place.
