Pho Ngon reviews
15This was one of the worst pho restraunts I have been too. The vegetable for the rice dish was dry and old and the meat was hard. The ice coffee was basically 90% ice….
Crazy place, always busy. I enjoyed ordering to go from here, The cashier/owner was nice. The food always on point
Satisfied my craving for pho, so much meat, soup was yummy and their broken rice plate was on point! I have been to many restaurants this week, and I must say. This place top them all and so reasonable as well. Cashier was sweet and service was quick!
Beware! Watch your bill went one day and my bill was correct went the next day and my bill was wrong and they decided to charge me for items that are not correctly priced menu says one thing receipt says something totally different. Then when I explained to them what’s wrong they try to say some lies until I called them out and did the math in person. This is crazy I can only imagine how many people didn’t notice this. Extra meat balls says $3.95 but when got my my receipt it was $4.50. They argued back and forth and then didn’t give me a refund I will never come back unprofessional and irresponsible
I was there and I got pho with my mom. The food was fine a little pricey compared to the other Pho I got from other restaurants. The service was poor when I checked out they let a Vietnamese lady go in front with me even when I was first. Definitely not coming back.
I like Pho but this place may have been a little too authentic for me. Went twice and both times they got my order wrong.
I've been here many times for the grilled pork banh mi. And I'm looking forward to trying some more pho!
This restaurant is a classic go to for a big group who are unsure what to have. The highlights for food are mostly family dishes, but they have individual plates and sandwiches as well! The banh mi was very good, and they have good tasting classic family Vietnamese dishes. Despite the name, I would avoid the pho, as there are other spots that have a much more deep broth. Other than that, most everything has a classic home taste. Nothing too exciting or innovative, but classic dishes nonetheless!
We ordered phở đặc biệt and Bún Mọc.
Here are my takes on those foods:
1. Pho was too sweet and lacked the natural flavor. I add a lot of hoisin and sriracha sauce to enhance the flavor.
2. Bún Mọc was bland, and the mọc had a "funky" smell. They should have left the mushroom out.
3. Stood at the check out for 5 mins to pay. Servers walked and passed us without saying anything.
I am very displeased with the restaurant.
Loved Pho Ngon in Houston TX. The service was awesome. The herb vegetables are fresh… will come back here again.
One of my favorite places to eat pho. But don’t expect good service and a great atmosphere.
The best broth in pho, everything was excellent tonight. Always one of our bucket list whenever we’re in Houston.
First time going here and I’m never going back. I ordered a soda and asked for a few minutes to decide what to eat. The waitress never came back to get my order. I left after waiting for her. She was just standing there looking through the window. Bad service don’t go here.
I’ve been going to this spot for over 10 years. This spot are more old school traditional, if you’re not used to it then maybe it’s not the spot for you!
One of my favorite pho restaurants. Service is okay, but the food is always worth it. Plenty of parking outside, and it is easy to get to.
