Our company, Methanex, hired Photography by Misty for our company portraits and headshots on October 25,2023. The photography team was top notch and made everyone feel at ease. Their attention to detail was excellent. Positioning 40 people for a group photo went smoothly! We would definitely call upon them for future needs.

I wanted to take photos of myself to celebrate a special milestone. I’ve never done a photo shoot outside of a studio. Misty presented me with several locations and explained the pros and cons for each location. She guided me throughout the entire process. I was extremely nervous but Misty turned it into a fun experience. It was like having a very talented friend take photos of me. I’m so happy with the way the pictures turned out. Surpassed my expectations actually.

After our old photographer retired, we needed a new go-to for headshots for our company website. We had a great experience with Photography by Misty. Our photographer Lauren was a pro, and the whole process was smooth and efficient.

My son and I had been talking about Santa and how there is a such thing as a black Santa so I was very excited to see a black Santa at Legacy West. Misty and her assistant were very nice. They allowed my son to go up to Santa and talk to him. Santa was incredible. I truly enjoyed seeing them interact with each other. Santa even complimented my son and me for raising a good boy.

I inquired about the service and I was still gung-ho even after I saw the price for 2 digital images (which ever two she picked) because I know good photographers aren't cheap. I was informed that it would take about a week to get the link to access the pictures. It was explained to me that all the pictures taken that day would be on the same link. I didn't like that idea because I didn't want a bunch of strangers looking at my son's pictures but oh well.

A week passes and I don't get a link. I wait another day and still nothing so I check her website. I see there is an option to text her so I sent a text asking for the link. She apologizes for me not receiving the link and asks for my email address. I check my Spam folder and even my trash folder just in case I deleted it by accident and still no link. So, I text her again the next day to follow up and she apologizes again again and shortly after I get a link but this link is to schedule a Santa picture not to view. I reply that I got the wrong link and she explains it is a miscommunication with her team. Then I received the link to view the pictures.

I go to the link to view the pictures enter my email address and check the email for a password. FINALLY! I am super excited to check the pictures. My son's picture is that day's gallery main picture. Awwwww!

I scroll through the gallery looking for my pictures. When I finally get to them the quality is much less than I expected and the two pictures are incredibly similar. On both of them the pictures look off. One is very bright and the other is a bit dull. Blink Blink Blink

Whereas, I am very happy that my son was able to experience a black Santa and had a very good experience, I am not at all happy with quality of the pictures. I would be willing to overlook everything else if the pictures had been better. The two stars are for the Santa experience.

Dear Misty,
I cannot thank you enough for the fantastic photos you provided. I have spent hours looking at each photo and have recounted my years at TJ with smiles and joyful memories. Unfortunately my family moved from Dallas to Clearwater, FL the last semester of my senior year and I lost touch with many of my friends at TJ. A few years ago I got to see many of them at an event Missy and her committee held for our collective 65th Birthday Party. That was the first time I had seen many of those in attendance. Last year I moved from Celina, Texas to my home state of North Carolina and was unable to come back for the reunion so the pictures you posted have been an early Christmas present for me.

I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving time and please never underestimate the significant impact you and your team have on the lives of people you may never meet along the way of this life's journey. May you be blessed in all you do!
